Rice Bowl

Super impressed! I sent my husband to order and pick up a variety of items to go as we live 45 mins away in Lake Isabella. The food was still hot when he got home! I was shocked and it was all packaged in containers and the soup was even in a glass jar… it was amazing. The food was insane and the quality of the meat and vegetables was the best we have ever had. We ordered a number of dishes, all reheated and tasted great today as leftovers. I can’t wait to dine in person and HIGHLY recommend!

We were trying to find a great place to grab some Chinese food, and we decided to go here. The food was so good we got the orange chicken and the beef and broccoli dinners. The portions are huge, so you won't leave hungry. I would highly recommend going here.

Our Server Jay was soo kind and accommodating. He made our experience so great! The food was delicious, fresh and flavorful. Authentic flavors!! Highly recommend you order the chow mein from here! Can't wait to go back and try all their other dishes!!

Old school Chinese food been owned by the same family for many years can't go wrong by eating here good lunch specials and dinner special combos

They Closed on Mondays I try the #1 Orange Chicken lunch special they serve it 6 days a week from 11am to 3pm It comes with a small egg roll and a small egg soup they serve a big portions of food the lunch special drinks are NOT included. I didn't like the pork rice I should of ask for the steam white rice instead. We also order the #12 Lunch Special Kung Pao Beef & I didn't like it the meat was to big couldn't even put it in my mouth and didn't like the flavor of it.

We went there to celebrate a friend's birthday. There were 20 of us in total. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was nice, and the bathrooms were clean. Definitely recommend.

We went to the Rice Bowl here in Bakersfield for lunch today. I have not been here in years...but this place was just as good as I remember! The atmosphere was calming and the service was amazing and prompt. The prices are worth the meal. We each ordered a lunch special which came with a cup of egg soup, noodles, rice, and the main meat on one plate. A soda or iced tea is $3.00 but they are large cups and they come with free refills. Everyone was extremely friendly from the moment we walked in. We will definitely go back. ;)

I've been coming to Rice Bowl for over 10+ years. I love this Chinese restaurant. If you are looking for delicious Chinese cuisine this is the go to here in Bakersfield. The restaurant is very nice, the atmosphere is great as everyone that comes have customers for years and the food omg it's amazing. I love the orange chicken lunch and dinner special with Cantonese chow-mein. I recommend Rice Bowl to anyone that is looking for a great sit down Chinese food restaurant.

This place has excellent Chinese food. I have been coming here for over 40 years. Always the best. Don't go to Bill Lee's go to Rice Bowl for the best Chinese food in town.

VERY generous portions for the price. Stopped by this place while waiting for the amtrak. Ordering on the phone was easy and snagged the to-go lunch special for 13.80 including tax. Got the Beef Bell Pepper which comes with noodles and pork fried rice on the side. The gentleman on the phone was kind enough to explain the different noodel options they had. Within the ten minutes it took me to walk there, my order was already packed, hot, and ready.

I had already eaten 1/4th of it by the time I took this picture and there's still a lot of food left.

Food was delicious, the salt and pepper chicken is amazing, and the orange chicken was sooooo goooood, the service was outstanding definitely recommend trying this place

I've gone here for years to get the lunch special. Even with inflation, it's a great value for what you get and the select it board, too. Favorite place in downtown.

My favorite Chinese restaurant on the planet. Prices are great, portions are huge and they serve the best tasting most authentic orange chicken anywhere.
