Food is great, we usually get Menudo that is bomb here, also sopes of azada and pastor, huaraches, etc. Fresh made and service is fast.

They have the best shrimp tacos I've ever eaten. I go there just for that. I usually go with a group of 6 or more and they don't get shrimp tacos and they love it. The service is not hostile but I wouldn't call it super friendly. Since Covid you have to ask for the radishes and spicy carrots but that isn't a deal breaker. The restaurant is really clean but it's not super fancy. Casual dining. I love this place!

Best menudo I've had. It has pigs feet, a lot of tripe and a little hominy, the way I like it. The broth was perfect. The corn tortillas were large, fresh and "homemade". Oregano and chile flakes are at the table. A bag of chopped white onions and a tiny amount of cilantro was provided. La Fonda will be my new go-to.

The style is a walk-up counter, you place your order and seat yourself. They'll bring the food out to you. They had a machaca breakfast burrito I wanted to try. Sounded good.

One thing I wished they didn't have was the TV on with an annoying kids show. I saw one of the ladies that works there walk over, turn on the TV and turn it up. There were no kids. Why? Maybe this won't be a problem on my next Saturday morning visit.

The menudo was good, the rest of my group wasn't disappointed either. Some bomb af shrimp cant lie you guys were on point with that. A bit cramped, alot of small tables only one side to fill a big group, its eh. Service was cool just they did forget a horchata and when they were told they never brought it, had to go up and get it ourselves after a long time of waiting. but other then that its cool .

Food is always great here. Fast , friendly, and inexpensive. Highly recommend the chilakiles con chorizo. Bomb , i would share a picture, but i ate it all..

This place is so good. I was told by the guy at three way Chevy and I’m so glad I tried it. The The food is so good lol I got the cheese enchiladas and a Carne Asada burrito. 🔥

Great food and amazing service and the time to get your food is pretty quick considering how busy they were

Guacamole was good salsa was wonderful. Hot sauce was good. Red was hotter than green service service was phenomenal. No margaritas but getting liquor license. Beer and soft drinks.

Very solid and clean restaurant. I had the carne asada burrito and it was quite tasty. They also provide their salsa in a squeeze bottles which make them so easy and mess free to use. The green salsa is quite good and has a kick.

Very nice staff, very clean dining room and restrooms.

Loud TV in the background was the only annoying part of the dining experience.

Fish tacos were on point, salsa was delicious, and the rice and beans were just right. Will be back again soon.

We've stopped here for breakfast 3 times now and every time was great. The breakfast burrito is always hot and tasty.

Had your guys menudo that was fire 🔥 was so so good original from Ventura. County only thing that was a small pata on menudo

Heard about this place from a friend . Food was great and service was the same. Will return.

Wonderful! We came here on a suggestion from a local and we are so glad we did. Great service! The food and portions are great. Fresh everything! Made to order is the name of the game here. Don't be fooled by the location and do yourself a favor and get a meal here.

Must stop for flavorful quick Mexican food. Variety was incredible & the service fast & friendly. We will make a point to stop again for sure.

Best tacos I’ve ever had! Really good meat tacos, and on Tuesday there on for only a dollar each. We bought around five taco’s each. Nice place!

I went in for menudo. First time at La Fonda, my family recommended it. To my surprise It had plenty of pansa and some pata. I had enough for the next day. It was so good. I will be coming back.
