Jury Duty Parking

Loved the shuttle, will never do jury duty again to much trouble and the judge we had acted as though he ran our lives didn't like the feeling.

Bus service is great. I hated the long walk and there's always a train 🚆 😒.

It was much easier than the last time I had jury duty.

Best parking in town!!

Parking in Downtown Bakersfield can be a challenge. Jury Duty Parking provides safe parking, relatively close to Jury Services & Court houses. Trains can be an issue. But with the addition of the SafeRide shuttle, jurors don't have to wait when trains are crossing.

The lot on L St is fine when you get there early. A bus for jurors starts running at 730a. It goes to 3 designated lots. I found the lot W of Chester S of railroad tracks to be more convenient with a walkway that goes under the tracks to allow transit if the bus is not available and the train is on the tracks. However, be careful not to park under the wires where bunches of birds congregate. They WILL poop all over your car. You can park in an overflow lot to the south of the main lot tho it is not posted.

Second day jury service buss driver the Hispanic women went out of service at 10sm , and the train was on the tracks , had to walk 3 blocks to get around the train.
