This is the best liquor store in the area. I have others that are closer but I take the extra time to come to Brewster Liquors and here is why:

I come to this store each time I am in the town working. The staff is always very helpful and have given me great suggestions on different wines to try and I have liked each item they offered me. The staff is the main reason I keep coming back because I know I'll have a fun conversation and end up leaving with something I wouldn't have normally purchased.

Truth be told, I am a Scotch drinker. This store has a fantastic selection of Scotch but I was really impressed by the knowledge of the staff who recommended me a delicious bottle of wine. I generally have no clue what I’m looking for when it comes to wine but after answering a few questions from the helpful staff regarding food pairings and pricing, I was led to an incredible bottle of wine that I enjoyed the same night. This is an experience I would never get in a big box store!

So I’ve been hunting around for a specific amaro that me and my family used to have in Italy. I have not been able to find it here for years. Ever since I moved up to NY I figured one day I’d be able to find it here since a lot more things get imported. I recently found out the whole state of CT doesn’t carry it either. My nice friends at Caraluzzi’s Wine & Spirit in Danbury, CT suggested I try my local stores in Brewster. He said they could order the product and get it to any store in Brewster. I had no idea this was even possible! I started calling up all the local wine & spirit stores until I landed with this gem. Initially, all the other ones I called just kind of brushed me off. I figured this place would do the same thing. John told me he would take my number and check on the product and call me back.

Not only did he get a hold of me, he found the amaro! Went out of his way to call his provider and tracked me down leaving me voicemails and all. We placed the order, picked it up and he said that of I ever needed anything else to let him know. I told him how appreciative I was of their customer service and for going out of his way to order my one bottle. He said: “it’s what we do”. Seriously, Brewster Wine & Liquor you outdid yourself!

It’s true, there are many other places to shop at and perhaps with more varieties and better prices but this place deserves a 5 star review for their customer service, going above and beyond and for their loyalty. Keeping your word is truly much more valuable than anything else!

Great selection and service

John delivered wine to my friend for her birthday. I gave him the wrong address - by a lot! And he went above and beyond, delivered to Danbury! Tremendous service.

They have a good variety of products. He has ordered specialty items for me in the past. Friendly service. I would recommend shopping here.

They have the largest selection of great wines and liquors, I am always greeted with a warm smile. The owner is always helpful. This is my go to for all my adult beverage needs!
