Mike was honest and helpful with the bid, and Jonathan and the crew were extremely professional, kind, respectful and such hard workers. I didn’t realize roofs needed to be checked and serviced, and I hadn’t done that in 20+ years since I had my home built. I didn’t need a new roof, just some cleaning and repairs. The bid was fair, I was quickly on their schedule, the work was high quality and done quickly with a crew, and they cleaned everything up so nicely. The contract came with a warranty, so that was a plus, too. We picked Kern County Roofing over the others because of the good price, the warranty, the professionalism, and Mike was very helpful.

I had a great experience using Kern County Roofing! Giving me a great estimate matching the damage of my roof. Mike came out and worked the estimate that very day in my driveway and being a business owner that meant so much. No one had every done that for me before and because of that I knew he was extremely knowledgeable of his profession. He was so understanding of my concerns, informative, professional, and really personable. His team leader Jonathan also had those same qualities. The entire team was so respectful and pleasant. I cannot say how wonderful Kern County Roofing is, I had a sub-standard roofing company come out before and they messed up my patio roof (leaks, uneven cuts). I then called Kern County roofing and they came out very quickly to give an estimate Mike came out and explained exactly what was damaged and what needed to be fixed. They were able to fix my patio roof and made it look awesome! No more leaks, everything is cut straight and looks 100% professional. The most amazing part is they offered a 10 year warranty. They also completely cleaned up afterward and if I ever need any roof work again in the future they will be my first call. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

The best ever! Mike is professional and quick with a proposal. The roofers are wonderful and very courteous, I would recommend them to anyone and would definitely work with them on future projects! I'm serious, you will not find a better roofing company than Kern County Roofing.

Mike is who came to my house for a leak in my roof coming into my house. He originally came just for an estimate but upon inspection he found the problem and was able to fix it on the spot. Very nice and professional and a very reasonable price. thank you and God bless.

They recently repaired my damaged roof, that was causing rain water to leak inside the house in my kitchen area. They did an amazing job patching up the damaged area of the roof.

Honest, quick responses, no sales pitch just business

The guys just finished my roof and I’m very pleased. Shout out to Mike and Martin. I’m impressed with the quality and detail. They added 4 attic vents where none existed before, they painted all vent pipes to match, they split the ridge caps from the center out, they did an incredible job with the clean up. I’m also impressed with how organized the work was; tear off crew, materials crew, roofing crew. Fast and efficient. 3 days start to finish. Thanks, folks!

Update- The week after the work was complete the city inspector left a correction notice saying the flashing along the raised portion between the garage and house needed to be sealed so water wouldn’t get trapped. Not a major risk, but whatever.
I contacted the company and they promptly sent someone over. I have no idea who was sent over, but they had no business handling such complex machinery as a caulking gun. A thick and wavy line of gray caulking was smeared across a 15’ section of roofing, right within view when I roll up on my driveway (I hope to be able to attach a photo). I called and complained and someone was promptly sent over who removed all the previous caulking, gouging chunks out of the solid wood redwood siding. They sealed it properly behind the flashing, but left an awful trail of destruction (should show up in the middle frame of the first pic). At this point I contacted the main contractor and asked to please send a painter to fix this. The painter came promptly and painted over the mess without filling the gouges (bottom frame of the first pic). Now this last flub wasn’t KRC’s issue, but damn! I ended up fixing the problem myself (second pic).
I would still recommend KRC. They did give me an amazing roof, but you might need to bird dog them on the finishing details 😉. I’m changing them from 5 to 4 star.
