Going to the DMV is like going to the dentist to have teeth pulled, nobody wants to do it.

I personally had an exceptional visit with DMV today. First off I I went online and made a appointment. If you’re not taking an appointment, you’re making a big mistake. I made my appointment four days ago and here I am today.

I was in and out and less than 30 minutes. Thank you DMV, you did this appointment well.

Going to the DMV is never fun. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. I made an appointment online fill out the paperwork online and it was pretty seamless. I just recommend making sure to handle the little details online so it makes your appointment much much faster. The people are super nice and super kind I didn't have any problems with rude staff. I just felt like it was a simple and helpful.

Took about two hours and I got a free upgrade to a real id because of all the hoops I had to jump through to get my license back because of a name change. Brian who helped me was very nice and provided excellent customer service. This one visit made all the previous hassle worth it.

If you want to quickly take care of business without the nonsense nicety come here. Short wait at 8:30 am compared to SW Bakersfield. I was out of here in 29 minutes, granted I completed my app online. Yes!

I went in today to upgrade to the new Real ID. I got there early to beat the crowd. Once I was inside, it took me about 10 minutes to have everything done. I came in thinking I was going to have bad customer service based on other reviews, but I was wrong. The guy that was helping me was cool and answered all my questions.The only issue, if you can call it that, is that I uploaded all my documents prior to going to the DMV, thinking it was going to speed up my process, but they still required me to have the papers so they could verify them again. It seems pointless, but it's not the employees' fault.Overall, it was a good visit.

After dealing with the DMV for more than 50 years, this was the best experience yet! Sandra was the agent who helped me with an obscure RV endorsement I needed for a Class C license. Other DMV offices could not help, but she was determined to figure it out. She worked with the other ladies in the office and successfully got the endorsement added to my license. When the process was complete, It made me happy to see how happy and proud she was that she had figured out. And I was there for less than one hour! Win Win!

It was busy I waited probably 45 minutes it was painless

I was in and out within 10 minutes! ladies were nice and helpful. pro tip: start process online if you can and go in with the confirmation code! Let’s you go in appt. line and in my experience, gets you in and out in less than 10 minutes!! I went 20 minutes after the DMV opened!

I made a appointment online and got there 30 minutes early. I got in line for a number (which wasn’t too long) and my number was quickly called. I gave the attendant all my paperwork and confirmation number and he was very nice and helpful! He quickly did my paperwork, i took my photo for my ID and I was done in less than hour.

The lines are always long but go very quickly, so you really don't have to to spend that much time here, the only problem is if the line is outside bring sunscreen or an umbrella if you have sun allergies! It gets hot when waiting outside like that! Best times to go are when they first open, or 30 mins before closing! I learned that after being here 20 yrs now!

This visit was a lot better than the last one, in and out with no problem

Had appointment at 10:10 am. I was out at 10.45 am. Very smooth transaction. Very busy. Suggest you make a appointment. In and out.

Didn't spend alot of time waiting

The service was quick, was not crowded. From the security guards to each staff from start to visit were exceptional, as if I was the onlyone there. Big change since before. Sandra was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. She even had time for a few jokes with the crazy times we are living in this was a breath of fresh air coming from a State agency . That Day We Had Three Car's To Take Care Of, & The Girl That Helped Us Did So In Such A Quick & Polite Manner That We Almost Forgot That We Were @ The DMV For A Moment, Lol 🤣🤣 Anyways Bottom Line Is, We Didn't Have To Wait That Long, First Of All & Second Of All She Was Very Fast & We Were In & Out In A Jiffy. So That Y'all Soooooo Much For Doing The Change That Y'all Did, It Really Has Made A Difference. 🤗🤗💞💙💞💙

Although it was pretty crowded, Employees were very helpful and friendly, and I was in and out in less than an hour. If you need to go though I recommend you make an appointment over the phone. They serve the Appointments first, luckily I had one. 😊👍

Staff is so much friendlier and helpful there than they use to be a few years ago. Use to dislike going to the F-street one due to grumpy and rude staff. SO I would drive all the way to Shafter. Today @ F-street It was fairly quick, friendly service and no problems what so ever. Will be using this one for our next visit. 👍

I’ve found the staff that works there the most helpful the most kindest considerate willing to help you they went above and beyond I will always want to go back there rather be there than do it online the people are absolutely wonderful Had so much trouble trying to do it online now I’m glad I did I would’ve never had the opportunity to see how nice these people really are

Vanessa made my visit very pleasant. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and quick! The lady at the front of the building was NOT friendly what so ever when checking in, however Vanessa really turned the visit around. Vanessa deserves recognition for her outstanding customer service!!!
