I went to visit a friend in North Long Beach and I took the Blue Line from Downtown LA. The Metro makes commuting all over the area easy, fast and convenient. I'm not from LA, so it's an easy way to learn the Greater LA area as well.

There's a lot free parking here. As long as you come before 7 AM, you'll get one close to the train platform. Otherwise there's free street parking a good walk from there. Just make sure to pay attention to the signs so you aren't getting fined for street sweeping, which occurs Wednesdays and Thursdays. Also, there's no overnight parking so don't leave your car there overnight.

Whenever I missed my bus going home, I would jog to the Smart and Final a half mile away to get myself some cheap fresh milk, yogurt, bulk cereal, and planters peanuts. It's a really good deal and by the time I jogged back to the station my bus would be getting close to stopping by. If you have 30 minutes to kill, get some exercise and some good deals at the Smart and Final.

Also, if you need to use the restroom, there's the Del Amo Swap Meet right across from the station. Just remember it's closed on Tuesdays. And closes at 7 PM every other day. Enjoy your visit ^_^

Nice and fast transportation. It's pretty easy and convenient once you get the hang of it and understand the schedules. It's really safe to with a good amount of officers to protect the community qhich are always around thank goodness. There's also various vendors that come around with lots of nick nakes and food and snacks. Most of the time the blue line will get you to your destination faster than a car will for a lot less than what the gas is costing now. A good ride also the del amo swap meet is right there and they have murals painted on the walls, most noticeable the late rappers Easy E and Nate Dogg.

I use this stop to the green line to LAX or transfer to gold line to Pasadena i avoid sitting in traffic sometimes i get to my destination faster than driving...

Now the blue line I love it it gets me home safe sometimes but if it wasn't for blue I can't even get my electric bike on there I get them it's fun to ride and it gets gets there right on time I always on time for work

This train line is reliable, clean and it gets you to downtown LA and gets you close to downtown long beach witch is great in itself it's a peaceful positive vibe in long beach no animosity

I didn't know that the parking is free when you ride the blue line. Maybe because of the pandemic and alot of people out of work. Saving big time money on gas taking the train to work.

It was clean didn't have any problems except they were working on the train this weekend and had to take a detour.

Fresh air. Trains on time. Great acoustics for vocals, instruments or y'alls bluetooth speakers.

Cool, Fun Way To Travel & Cheap. Not the fastest Way To get around but it gets you there

Train was on time, there always a security guard on duty making sure nothing goes wrong.

When you need public transportation this is the way to go hands down. Get your tap card at the machine and load some money on it. Tap it Everytime you ride. That's all there is too it.
