Fabulous experience!!!! Bought floats for me and my S.O. for his birthday. We both had a blast. For a moment there, with the mucis and the peace, I felt like I was just floating through the galaxy. Even almost fell asleep a few times. We both suffer from back and joint pain and this really helped take the stress off of our bodies. Definatly recommend!!!!!

WOW!!! What a great experience. I cannot say enough good about my first float and I am so thankful to FINALLY have a place to shut everything off.

I thought it would be hard to relax or might feel scary, but the guy running the clinic did a spectacular job at giving me great tips to relax and enjoy my time. I was so relaxed after 90 minutes of floating, I sat in my car for 20 minutes enjoying the benefits of finally not being stressed in the city! Haha

I have still continued to feel the benefits of my session, even weeks after just one time!!

9/17/18 - My third float and it just gets better every time. I definitely want to make this a monthly habit. I've previously brought my mother as an additional Mother's Day present and she's still talking about it! Chrissie (or Christie) was absolutely amazing, very bubbly and great at putting my mom at ease. She even provided floating "tea lights" so that the room wasn't quite so dark since I'm a bit claustrophobic. She took a few extra brochures because she plans to bring her friends. So far, I've been able to plot out a short story or fall asleep as soon as I relax. When my significant other visits from Arizona, this is one of his favorite places. My favorite room is Room 2 with the slate tile (reminds me of my dream bathroom). Loved the shower. For $45.00 the service and amenities are top notch and you can't beat the price considering it's an hour and a half of float time. Everything is clean, comfortable and open. The Float Clinic doesn't feel like some chain, but place to let go of the stresses of the day. Give it a try!

I've been coming to the Float Clinic for years and every time I come back, I always wonder why I don't do it more often. Floating is so relaxing and really helps ground me. I love the Float Clinic because it has individual rooms, not pods like so many other places. Everyone who works here is so friendly and welcoming. Such a wonderful place that I'm thankful to have found.

I’ve been going here for a couple of years. Always clean, always quiet, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The membership options are good too. Very happy. The manager/owner was Helpful when I had an issue with my membership payment.

I’ve been to this float clinic along with several others in the Southern California region. The Torrance float clinic is by far my favorite location. They have excellent staff, great hours and availability, with the best tanks and showers. Always clean and quiet, makes for a therapeutic experience each time I’ve been.

I really enjoy floating. It's so relaxing and therapeutic for me. When I'm done the glow I have is spectacular and not to mention bedtime,I sleep like a baby and wake up refreshed and very well rested. Looking forward to using the sauna.

After throwing my lower back out the day before I almost did my typical move which was to book some time with a masseuse but then I remembered reading an article about 'Floating Therapy'. Everytime I get the massage in these cases it feels painfully good at the time but afterwards, ouch!!

- This time around I thought lets try it? -

I was greeted by a young man by the name of 'Dorian'.
Dorian did an excellent job explaining the whole process to me, he mentioned he had a similar situation with his back and that after even one session this really helped him. During and after this conversation I was feeling even more assured that I was at the right place at the right time, isn't amazing how the universe works? So did it help me? What I can attest to is that yes, my back was feeling much, much better, and a day later (today) my muscles seem to be recovering waaaay way faster then past experiences compared to massages.
I'm addressing my back only but for most of us I think there are even better benefits for our brains which are non stop with all the distractions and noise... this gives us a fast track to getting grounded in a unique environment that most of us can't possibly replicate at home, unless you're well off of course.

still can't decide? keep reading...
For those of you thinking about if they should try this or not I can give you some advice I think that would be very helpful.

First off, an epsom salt treatment is very helpful for your body, this isn't anything new. I confirmed it really works, if you just go through the process

Secondly, the 'meditative' experience was amazing 'for me' and this is truly for me the #1 benefit. If you already meditate I think you will get hooked right away. If you don't I can see and understand why there would be mixed feelings here because getting into a meditative state isn't easy for beginners and you have 90 min's of floating in pure darkness and zero sound (which is the point)! My wife for example probably won't have the same experience as me because she presently doesn't meditate. So... 'If' you find yourself thinking thoughts (any) just start over & try concentrate on your breathing, this would be a great opportunity to practice this basic meditation technique. Even if you can't do this, just relaxing every muscle in your body floating on top of this beneficial solution should be worth it even if your mind wanders off.

Thirdly, I literally felt like I was floating in space, this alone makes me want to return which I am today but not for this reason alone. If one can't fork a million $$$ to float a few minutes on a Blue Origin space flight then this will do the trick for me.

Good luck everyone :)

To me this is a temple in my life's legacy. I have had the best experiences here. Every float the staff has been great at contributing to the experience with minimal distractions. Every float has been fully supplied with the essentials needed to have a safe, extrodinary floating experience.

I have my favorite room which is number 2, great decor and mood for each of the rooms. I enjoy the size of each tank. Staff has always been amazing. They offer appointments throughout the day afternoon and evenings.

As a photographer this is my massage for my optic nerves, eyes, and my body. This is my most recommended form of therapy for anyone who asks why I am so cool about life.

This is an experience you will enjoy and you will not forget where it takes you. Happy floating.

Very nice place. Clean and welcoming environment. I was not expecting to enjoy the experience as much as I did. For anyone trying it for the First time, make sure you eat 2 hours before and you keep hydrated before your float session. Being in the chamber will make you thirsty and being hungry during will only make you think about food 😂.

Really unique experience. It was my first time with sensory deprivation and was definitely interesting. The facilities are clean and welcoming and the staff does a great job explaining the whole process. If you're looking for something new to try out, I highly recommend it.

Quickie:
+ Super relaxing experience
+ Free parking to customers right in front

---

Parking:
Free street parking all around but they allow you to park out front on the curb of the place as a customer.

Experience:
First float lab I've ever been to and it was an fantastic experience! Was greeted when I arrived, given a quick run-down of how it all works and was escorted to my room/pod. You pop in your ear plugs, shower off, then pop into the chamber. The float chamber is much larger than I expected - you can stand up straight in it - the vat itself is like a giant jacuzzi. Super relaxing, super quiet, super peaceful... I can't wait to go back.

Absolutely love this place. I always enjoy seeing the front desk people especially Christian (I think that’s his name). This place is so peaceful and quiet it’s like going to a no frill spa where you can be quiet and free from distraction. I always ask for the floater pillow because I don’t want to submerge my ear underwater. Can’t beat the pricing with the series package!

If you're remotely interested in Floating, this is a great place for your first experience. Each of the three rooms has it's own attached float chamber and shower, which makes getting ready a snap. After an hour and a half, my skin was softer than it had ever been, and I felt more relaxed than I had in a long while. Austin is great.

This was a really excellent experience at a new place for floating; the front desk guest service clerk was extremely professional and helpful. The only thing I wish there was dedicated parking because that area was kind of iffy but they had the best hours compared to other locations which is key when you're busy with work and life during the day.

What an amazing experience! Everything is nice and clean, you have your own shower in the room and the floating room is nice and specious, not like any of those little coffins some other places have. Shower, and just close the door, sink in, and let the water carry you like a little baby, floating in a space, weightless, sightless, noiseless... focusing your mind on shutting down all the constant chatter in your head and focusing on your own breath and sensations in your own body,.... leaving all the stress and worries behind. Mind blowing trip to your own consciousness. 90 minutes goes by fast once you get the hang of it and especially if you have some previous experience with some kind of meditation from before. Some Buddhist's monks go to the caves for months to meditate, I am super happy with 90 minutes of floating session with just me, myself and I! The Floating clinic will help you to get different perspectives about everything and you walk out refreshed and relaxed . Can't beat that for $45/90 min. Worth every penny! I will be back!

The Float Clinic is my go-to for relaxation and recovery. The 90 minute escape from stimulation provides numerous benefits mentally and physically. The staff is super helpful and welcoming and the rooms are a clean and comforting oasis. Highly recommend!
