Rice Kitchen

Got my usual orders, still all very flavorful! I love that they never forget to give the plain rice that comes with my order, even though I also buy fried rice. A lot of to go places conveniently forgets to include that. I added one more picture to show my order for today.

1. Combination fried rice
2. Sweet & sour chicken
3. Combination Chow fun
4. Moo goo gai pan
5. 3 flavored Kung Pao
6. Sesame balls
7. 1 wor (wonton) soup amounted to about $83 total with tax.

I now try to minimize buying to go food or dining at a restaurant to curb my family's expenses, but I like coming back to Rice Kitchen because they have generous servings that I am able to portion out the leftovers & turn it into meals for the following days. We are a family of 2. For this order, I got:

-2 meals for dinner tonight & 10 sesame balls
-8 portioned meals from leftovers
-2 containers of won soup leftover (these + a toast or a cheese quesadilla will make us probably 2-3 meals)
-About 2 more meals of extra rice & Three Flavored Kung Pao.
Total: 14 meals
$83÷13 meals = $5.92

Cooking our own food is the most cost-effective, but buying from Rice Kitchen from time to time is reasonable for me. It's splurging without breaking the bank.

Aside from the cost, I like the taste of the food here of course that's why I keep coming back=)

Happy to announce that they still have an A rating. Also, I love that they did not go with the trend of adding suggested tip on To Go orders like other restaurants. Those that do that should be boycotted.

Today I bought combination chow fun, moo go gai pan & mongolian three delight. Everything taste good and fresh!

Being new to the area, my spouse & I tried Rice Kitchen take out yesterday. We got combination fried rice, moo goo gai pan & beef chow fun.
They have a An rating which made me comfortable buying from them. The lady who took our order was very accommodating. The food was tasty and although the food containers were the same size as other restaurants, Rice Kitchen fills them up as much as it would take. I appreciate this because money does not come from a tree and it can get expensive buying restaurant food nowadays. I will definitely be a repear customer and taste all of the food on their menu. To the owner, to cut cost, maybe you can provide plastic food & spoon, fortune cookies and condiments when customers ask for it? Maybe put a sign in your restaurant to let customers know this. The cost you cut on this can used to cover providing bigger portions. Most of the time when it's to go, these condiments, plastic utensils and fortune cookies only get tossed anyway.

Hot and sour soup is one of my favorite soups out there. I wanted to try it out from here . Very delicious. I was just not expecting it to be spicy. Soup still spicy but great. And first time my son and I got a meal. He said omg dad it's so good. Ahaha great size portion and also great price. Leaving a tip every time I go

We have been ordering from the Rice Kitchen for years! We have never been disappointed with anything! The food always arrives hot and the portions are large. They are still not dining in but don’t let that stop you from enjoying their food take out or have it delivered!

I love this place my uncle has been taking me here since I was little and now have grown up and take my kids with me to get take out! It truly is the best authentic spot I can think of the walnut shrimp, 3 favor kung pow, Orange chicken, chicken chowmein, war wonton soup, all of it is delicious and cooked with love and authinticy! 🔥

Unbelievable above and beyond the call of the menu this place did not hold back. The fillet mignon house special is freekin delicious and the BBQ pork chop suey was a shmorgusborg of fresh veggies from tiny corns to bamboo shoots. Fresh, fast(delivered), great selection of dishes and a magician with pride making magic happen behind the kitchen doors. 5 stars

Ordered 4 dishes for delivery..came within 30 minutes..fast service...excellent food, reasonable prices...delivery driver went out of his was to find our marina...will order our chinese food from Rice's Kitchen from now on!

I loved this experience. Small family run (and I mean family run). If they get busy, you wait. The food is good enough to wait for and you really root for these guys. Although customer service is minimal (family is busy cooking). Don't come looking for fancy and you'll be fine.

I have been coming to this spot for about 3 years or more. Their food is excellent and local. Family owned and operated. Sometimes their kids are getting schooled in restaurant by owners. Highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

Love the food. We get some whenever we are in the area. Today we arrived just after they opened and placed our order. Due to the virus restrictions, you walk up to the door and order there. We ordered and about 10 minutes later if was ready. Our bill was $55.24. We paid with our debit card and left.
Later in the day we checked our bank account and saw that we were billed $66.24. We did not leave a tip due to our ordering and picking up at the location. Perhaps they decided to give themselves one anyway. Don't know. Maybe it was a mistake. Not too happy right now.
Update....our bank now shows the correct amount. Must have been a mistake.

The food was so good!! I am definitely coming back and I love how I felt like I was at home even though its a restaurant. The chicken chow mein had a strong garlic taste but if you love garlic you will love this! And the orange chicken and rice amazing!!! It didn't feel like other chinese food places where it can taste dry..this place was fresh and just felt like it had some amazinf flavor! I had the lunch special with my boyfriend!

I'm definitely not a big consumer of asian food in general but decided to give this place a try since they have pot stickers, and that's probably my favorite asian food item. Their pot stickers are great! I also tried their beef chow fun, having no idea what to expect, and now I'm hooked! I had to stop by again to try their pork chow fun, also delicious. Next time I'll try the shrimp chow fun...and successively making my way through the menu.

I have lived in the area for 26 years. I think that I have been using this great kitchen for many styles of Chinese food for at least 15 years (I am going to confirm this.). Always delivered hot, quickly, and with a smile.

This has got to be the best food that I have ever tasted in years...I live in Decatur, Alabama and I ate the Chinese food there..and that food doesn't even add up to what these people can prepare..I'm really blown away..this place is really off the chain..I'd give them 100 stars if I could. I Will definitely be back again..

Love this place the Lady who runs the entire place 7 days a week nonstop from open to close plus mom with young kids needs a raise or a tip jar for a vacation fund she is a total sweetheart and hard worker RARE combo usually hardworking people tend to be grumpy while sweethearts lean on their personality to get by lacking quality but not this tiny blink and you'll MISS it driving by is the only downside lacking parking in crowded plaza that isn't VERY appealing from the outside looking in so don't judge the menu from the outside. I promise the qualit of the service along with the freshly made to ORDER in addition to the price to their lunch specials with free Delivery on orders OVER $15 is just truly the perfect combo that shouldn't be ignored when you're craving quality Chinese food on a fast-food budget 2 lunch specials might be right under the free Delivery cost less then drive thru FROZEN burger combos these day's just place order before 4 for lunch and 10 for dinner kung pau 3 flavors is amazing

First time trying their food and hands down my favorite chinese food. Asked for their delivery service and I was amazed by their professionalism. Their food comes in nice packaging and their portions are pretty big for the price.

The lady that runs the place always takes good care of whoever comes in her restaraunt. The food is much better than most places and the various dishes that she has here are excellent.

The food is so good! My new favorite restaurant! Getting ready to start my new year with some crispy walnut shrimp, yummy!

Place doesn't look like much, but the food is excellent! Priced fairly, friendly staff, & they deliver!
