Huge fresh fish selection. Very clean alot of Japanese products & ready to eat food options. Also, a few dine in food court options & a new sushi Restaurant inside the market.

Very friendly environment, clean and well organized. An array and abundance of stock merchandise . I live in Downtown LA near Little Tokyo, and I find this Market Tokyo Central to be a combination of Little Tokyo Market in downtown LA and Daiso Japan🙏⛩🥰 only bigger and very beautifully decorated. I will be returning again soon😃

One of the hottest new buffet in Los Angeles area, and one of the biggest Japanese market in California. They have great Japanese buffet style food.
Which is sold by the pound at $9.99 per pound.
Grab what to like from over 20 different items like shrimp tempura , teriyaki chicken, pork and more etc… weigh it and pay.
The food is very authentic and fresh. If you’re in the area stop by and give it a try you’d love it.

They sell foods snacks beverages appliances imported from Japan. Best prices for customers buying items. Such rare that aren’t in US. I visited Gardena Tokyo Central Honten once a while not always. Mostly weekend. Shopping is the wonderful thing I’ve experienced. Highly recommended for new customers who hasn’t visited there yet. Asian products anime toys. ドンキホーテ section area. Just perfect. I will visit there again if I have time.

Tokyo Central in Gardena is a long-time favorite of mine to get anything and everything Japanese! It is an experience all on its own. There are so many different categories of items to buy: cosmetics, household items, clothing, cooking accessories, farmers market, a $69.00 melon from a specific region in Japan, sushi, fully-cooked takeout menu items, and an array of restaurants available, too. It's so fun to visit and spend some time looking at everything and stocking up on my favorites!

You can get most of the Japanese food you want.
There is also Takoyaki shop in the food court.
It was crowded with people.

This is the largest Tokyo Central supermarket I have ever seen. There are 2 separate areas where it sells things like clothing, cosmetics, car accessories, toys, sports, home deco, etc. While the other area closer to the food court is where the actual supermarket where you can get fresh produce, bentos, sashimi, instant noodles, green tea, snacks and etc. As you walk into the main entrance there are some gachapon machines to the right. There is a food court with some seats indoors and a courtyard with more seating available but there's no AC. There is a takoyaki+yakisoba, fried chicken Karaage, pork cutlets and a Japanese bakery. Parking is pretty easy just drive around the building There is plenty of parking in the rear or the other side of the building.

This place always seems to have what I'm looking for. Very well stocked and the shelves are full of surprises. Clean dining areas and friendly food services. Try the Takoyaki at the food court.

I have driven by here countless number of times. Why did I wait til now to stop in?! This place is so cool! Reminds of the nice all-in-one grocery/department stores they have in Asia. There's so much to soak in! I love their sushi and hot food bar. I have to come back to explore the rest of the store!

I love this place! They have such a variety of goods. Lovely fresh produce and fish. Baked goods, ramen, so many seasonings, frozen treats, the list goes on. And they even have a large selection of non food items in the back. They've got a few little restaurants up front too. One of the best grocery stores in L.A. by a long shot!

You need any product for sushi making this is your place say no more. Huge market super clean easy to find products. Also restaurants on site if hungry. I love it! Forgot to mention delicious fresh sushi -do not get sushi at Costco or any other super market instead stop at Tokyo Central for the best 🇯🇵 eats. Yum! You will not be disappointed. Fyi: on weekends get your sushi early as everything freshly made is gone by literally 7:30pm including Friday's and Mo-Thurs you may just get lucky by that time to find scallop, eel rolls, Dragon rolls, tuna/salmon/seaweed salad poke bowl like the one on the pic below- oh and the rice is the best prepared tasty rice at another level of flavor. The chef is pure perfection.

I think this supermarket is the most complete Japanese supermarket in the area. A good selection of Japanese beers, sake and soju.

Wow! This place is huge! A fantastic selection of Japanese groceries, kitchen items, even anime figures and t-shirts! The sushi is super fresh and there is even a place up front selling tacoyaki and seats to take a break and enjoy them. Parking can be tough, not because it's a small lot, but because the place is so popular. Park in the back, it's totally worth the walk to the front door!

Visiting LA and found this great Japanese supermarket and it has lots a great stuff and love it. Will visit every time when I come to LA. Plus all the warm food items are 20% off after 7pm daily.

This is one of the larger Tokyo Central/Marukai branches. A lot of selections along with all the newly stocked items that may not be available at their other smaller branches.

This is one of my favorite markets to go to. So many products and fresh foods to choose from (both groceries and pre-made dishes). It has a food court with great options, an amazing indoor and outdoor seating/dining area, convenient amenities (microwave, water dispenser, etc.), and 2 sets of restrooms (in food court and in the area near the beauty products). Decent amount of parking.

This excellent market has almost everything, from fresh product imported from Japan, to toiletries and even toys and novelty items. The store is clean, the staff friendly and helpful. There's a great hot food, bakery, and sushi to go station. Although there is a ton of parking, it can fill up. The store is handicap accessible.

It is totally different. They have improved in many ways. Signs consistently above you in easy to read English. But for me it was a big challenge as the whole store was reorganized.
