Starlight Cinemas Lakewood Center

It's an older theater but still worth the visit. While they don't have reclining seats, they do offer good deals on tickets and at the consession stand. All around it was a good experience. If you're looking for cheap entertainment, check them out. Plus, they have a rewards program. FYI, Sundays tickets are $5 before 6pm.

Love that this theater is back open had been close due to the pandemic but their $5 all day Tuesday and $5 Sundays before 6pm is amazing and it's just across the Lakewood centers so I'm happy is back open highly recommended prices on food are affordable as well

They are planning to put reclineing seats in some theaters. That will be great. But this theater, as it stands today, is great.

We went a few weeks ago and it was a good experience. Very uncrowded. Comfortable seats, although they don’t recline. Decent prices and the employees were friendly. We will be coming back.

It's great to have a neighborhood theater again. The atmosphere and facilities are comfortable, they have a good variety of movies and have good rates for taking the family. Plenty of parking available.

I for one made a review about it once about 7 and a half years ago before it changed its name to Starlight Cinemas. It was called Pacific Theaters back then, but my last visit over there when I went to see Star Wars Episode 7, I was displeased and angered over the fact that one of the employees wouldn't let me in the theater with a shopping bag after buying a ticket. So I had wanted a refund after being denied entry and I basically cut ties with Pacific Theaters and made a bad review of it years before its name changed. But now that it is under new management, I'm just looking forward to visit there one day.

Friendly staff and great concessions. So happy this theater reopened to being entertainment to the community.

I’ve been here a few times already and honestly it’s cool . I’m just glad they are back open and bringing the theater back to life with people again . I used to go here a lot before the pandemic . I don’t care about the seats , it’s not that big of a deal to me . I’m hearing a lot of people talk about reclining seats and so forth . Some of those reclining seats can be just as uncomfortable. If your looking for a newer updated theater, this probably wouldn’t be the place for you . It’s old skool , if you know what I mean . But if you looking for a deal and not trying to pay 40 and over to see a movie and eat some snacks , this is place for it ! Popcorn is ok , could be better but that’s something can they can work on . I did have a hot dog and I think whatever they had it in over cooked it or it was stale . Not sure , but like I said the food could use a lil TLC . Over all I’m happy to come watch a movie , that ain’t breaking my pockets and that is lowkey .

Been there twice since it reopened.

It reopened not so long ago. So not so crowded. That's the reason I'm going to see the next flick. Enjoy while it last ( Crowded)

Starlight cinemas, rock Tuesdays and Sundays. $5 Matinee can't beat that. And the food is good, less expensive than normal, big Theaters.

Although not renovated or upgraded, was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our visit.
