Edit on Dec 4 2023: This gym has made a COMPLETE turnaround since my post & is under great management & staff. When the water ran cold here, I notified the ones in charge & they had that fixed the following morning. Amazing work! 👏🏾

Only gripe now is they could use better cleaning in the evening. The OG clearner in the morning is the BEST & there's not a single dirty spot but they need a couple more janitors like him, even though they're not easy to find.

Edit around 2022: This USED to be a great gym. I stopped coming here for a good 6 months & when I came back, so much has changed. A lot of the great staff members have left & with so much turnover, as well as a few negative interactions I've had with some workers here, I'm convinced it's the worst staff I've experienced so far at an LA fitness location. The quality of the gym has decreased as well:

They have two broken water fill machines (one in the swimming pool room, the other on the left, next to the basketball court) that haven't been fixed for MONTHS despite notifying the manager about it.

They put a back workout mechanism (See pictures) in an inconvenient location to pull weights in & out because of a reinforcement beam in the middle (a problem that can be easily fixed by swapping places with the other back mechanism next to it, which wouldn't have that issue (told a sales rep about this).

Not to mention a young service desk worker who couldn't get her eyes off her phone for 10 seconds to realize I stepped out the gym just to get my basketball out my car but found it to be a convenient excuse to accuse me of not scanning as she was "there all day & hasn't seen me walking in at all" after I've been here for two hours.

I told her that I've been here & if she isn't sure, to find the operations manager & instead she sent a sales rep who "acted" as the operations manager, only to show aggression towards me & an ultimatum to "either walk all the way back to the front desk & scan or leave." Didn't even have the decency to consult with the actual operations manager before playing bodyguard to make sure I left.

They don't care about the people who workout here. They got no respect or the best interest for anything or anyone other than getting your John Hancock & collecting their paycheck. I'm really fed up with this place.

This gym had two op manager turnarounds and since they left, it hasn't been the same since. A damn shame really, since I enjoyed the environment this place once had. It was special. They were supposed to go 24/7 before covid but they don't have any excuse now since both Crunch & Planet Fitness have been doing it since last year.

Might just let my membership run out with them, I no longer see any benefits on being with LA/Esporta fitness anymore.

No sauna but it's my favorite spot.

Heard rumors from a few workers that all Esporta clubs were supposed to go 24/7 before Co-Vid struck. Hope corporate revisits that idea since Planet Fitness & Crunch already have spots that are open 24/7.

I really like the view of this gym, very modern and all in bright colors. People of different ages, was there at noon time so it wasn’t too crowded.
There only thing I was missing was the heat sauna.
Besides that, great experience 👍🏼

If your going to be a little kid over a room full of sweaty men and women it’s not the gym for you aka the sauna there is none but besides that the gym if beautiful along with a great and energetic staff the best part there’s a Chick-fil-and a Panera right outside for those cheat days

I loved water aerobic on Tuesday mornings. Hard workout. Instructor was awesome.

Everyone was really nice here, especially my fellow female gym goers. It’s super clean and new. I liked the machines. It was busy but I didn’t mind. I just waited patiently. Good vibes here. Staff was kind.

Great amenities, new equipments, and spacious location. Very well maintained and clean. Less crowded and never need to wait for a machine. They also have HIIT classes (one of the few locations that have it).

Best gym period! Cleanliness top knotch. Personal trainer, best in the business (Marcos) HIIT classes are absolutely the best I've seen or attended (Alejandra simply the best). Everyone motivates one another. Friendly. Staff friendly, Daisy is awesome. Love this gym!!

Best LA Fitness location in OC. No sauna so no gross smells anymore~ Yes!!!

Really clean and there are always machines available which I'm pleasantly surprised when even I've gone to other places just as big, but this place is good with enough machines. Oh yeah and pool for swimming as well definitely a plus.

As all gyms go, it was a bit crowded. I was able to navigate through my routine with little disruption. Clean and equipment group correctly. My only complaint: there was dumbbells on the floor and not returned to the racks. The fitness center was clean and sanitizing was on a continuous basics.

L.A. Fitness is a great place to work out. I've been going there since February 2019 and have lost 45 pounds so far. Their machines are well maintained and their staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. If you are looking for a moderately priced gym with good, well maintained equipment, with lots of locations nationwide, you should check them out!

Was able to get a pass to try it bout, was not disappointed! Employees greeted me as if I were a regular. Clean, up to date equipment including a lap pool and bball court. Reasonable pricing available to accommodate anyone's budget. Will definitely consider when we move

Love it! Very spacious it doesn’t feel like you are working out on top of the person next to you like most LA Fitness gyms that are cramped up. Yes it sucks that it doesn’t have a sauna but then that’s good because it makes people warm up the correct way.

It's probably my second favorite gym. It's the cleanest gym I have been to and the environment is good. Never been there beyond 4 p.m., however.

Very helpful staff! Awesome AC and a variety of different classes and weight machines. They have a pool but not a hot tub. Very clean gym

Clean place, plenty of dumbbells under 30lbs, clean restrooms, all equipment in working order and if they break down they are repaired quickly, most of the staff is very friendly-weekend hours could be extended a little- Great energy all the cardio machines and stationary bikes are in working order which is amazing.

HIIT ... Need I say more!? Excellent program that gets results! Sign-ups ASAP and hit those resolutions!

My boy Ivan came in and made Everything super simple and fast. Best customer service I’ve had at a fitness center. Thank you to Ivan and Michelle for helping me find my new gym!

Very nice people and the place is clean

Great equipment very clean and friendly staff . This location is very big and has a lot of different stations to achieve your goals . I will continue coming here. Thank you Esporta Fitness 🙂
