New Wave Restaurant

This gem is one of the best places around for inexpensive drinks and 80s / new wave / dark wave and post punk music to dance to. 2 rooms - main room is music with a stage and the other room is for karaoke. They host tribute/cover bands as well. Wednesday night is dark wave night and Saturday night is usually cover bands and 80s music. Food is ok. Positive vibes and have fun!

Really trying hard not to gatekeep this one but it's a gem! Karaoke is fun great regular singers and music! I love their purple rain drink! Amazing! Disclaimer I've only tried their asada nachos and they was so so that's why a 4 star. Last and most favorite is their live cover bands!!! 💓👍🏼🎤🎼💃

The absolute best place to dance to some 80's in the area and I always make some new friends. Always a good vibe here. $10 cover charge, not sure if that's all the time but bring the cash just in case.

Great kareoke! The Kareoke Jock has an insane library! Awesome atmosphere, very supportive singers. The regular crowd is very welcoming. Food is good ,and the bartenders are not stingy at all . I definitely recommend the place..

Finally got to visit this awesome place on Friday May 18, 2018, at 830PM.

It was a friend's birthday and I'd seen how often she partied here, so I had to check it out.

The corner location makes it easy to find, with ample street parking (as their lot is pretty small). Luckily I had no issues finding a spot right at front entrance.
Arrive early to get a good & safe spot.

Bouncers outside and inside. 21+.
That night was $10 cover, CASH.
(tho I'm told this is the norm)

A dance room with Dj & Live bands.
And a karaoke room with Dj too. It's a great ambiance overall, very relaxed.

Plenty food choices & decent prices
(See menu pics). I picked the jalapeno poppers, cheese sticks, and steak fries, all were delish! Plastic accepted.

Waiters were friendly & attentive,
tho a bit pushy to get you to buy more.
I say this bc due to cover charge, there aren't drink minimums.

Karaoke Dj was good, he jammed out
to a few songs, a bit picky about
PEOPLE SINGING W DRINK IN HAND.
(He takes a photo of EVERY singer).

Mostly 80s songs, divey, fun crowd...
Starts slow, but does fill up!!

This place is such a hidden gem! Solid 80's music, great drinks, food aaaaaand even karaoke! We tripped out on how good the nachos were! We opted to skip the chili and add chicken.

I LOVE the music, price is fair, bands are great. Atmosphere, everything is Awesome. EXCEPT the women's restroom, uts clean but the stall is very uncomfortable.

We had such a great time. Missed this place so much. Food was good. Drinks were good. Staff was so super sweet. Music was great. Danced all night.

It's a great place to go and have fun with friends or go on a date. They have live bands on friday and Saturday and a karaoke room as well that's very fun and a great selection of 80s themed drinks

I love their Thursday tribute nights. They will play songs by that particular artist and other songs that are similar. You can definitely put those dancing shoes to use. Fridays, they usually have live tribute acts. These are always high quality performers. The dance parties are always filled with great songs that bring back that wonderful feeling of nostalgia. It's sing along to the songs while dancing the night away. This location has a separate karaoke room for those who want to be the star. The whole place is run very well.

One of the best places to be free, enjoy the greatest Era of music dancing with the bestest of friends while accompanied by the coolest chillest people around you. Then in another room they have karaoke to express yourself in voice as the times you sing in the shower or in the car. Yes it is small, but they make the best of it, and the decor of neon lights puts you in the feel as if your really living in the 80's.

Dancing to New Wave music at this iconic club is an experience to relish in. The fries are great too. 👻

This place is awesome! The music and Atmosphere takes you back to the 80's. And if you're into karaoke, this place is for you. .

They had a great local band playing INXS music! Servers and bartenders were super cool. Will definitely be back!

I love this place. Highly recommend coming on Thursday since theres no entrance fee and its way less packed.

Went on friday to karaoke and there was literally no more room to go in and karaoke. 😪 BUT they had a dance floor and a Green day tribute band that more than made up for it. 🤗
