Great little mom & pop's shop! Both mom & pops know bicycles! Their son Ricky does honest work and great prices for labor and parts! Repeat customer here for sure!
Don't mind the negative reviews, just people with hurt egos.

I went in to get my new bike assemble which i bought online and honestly should have just bought a bike at their shop because it would had cost me the same. Ricky assemble my bike and girls bike in a timely manner and he also help me install my bike rack (great customer service) . I’m always going to come to this store for my bike needs.

Always have a good experience here. The owners & employees know what they're doing.

Bought a rack and beach cruiser. The owner son Rick helped get it all set up. Came back for bells and they were high quality. Perfect bright zingy sound! Make sure to get a bell for riding the paths otherwise people will step in front to cross. Also lets people know when you are passing. While at the store saw a racer picking up his refurbished bike and dropping off another for repair.

These people are lovely to speak with and offer both quality and affordability in their services that is hard to match in the South Bay. Those saying the "man" is rude lack a sense of humor. My fiance and I had a wonderful experience with their business.

This is a great little bike shop where the service and experience are a welcomed breathe of fresh air versus the larger box stores.

I came in here to replace a stripped-out seat post and the service was quick and reasonably priced. The folks working were welcoming and I would definitely come back for tune ups, etc.

I called a bicycle shop on the 190th/Anza to inquire about repair only to be told that they had 75 bikes on their waiting list before I get my turn and it won’t be less than 4-5 weeks. I told them I would call back then they told me all bicycles shops were in the same situation right now. I am glad that I then decided to call Gilbert’s Bicycle. They took in my bike right away and repaired it in a day! The charge was pretty reasonable! Surprisingly, the one I called first has higher reviews but was not even half helpful as Gilbert’s. I’d definitely go back to Gilbert’s for whatever I need for my bike.

Went in to get a bike post and helmet. They were very kind and provided excellent service. I will probably go there from now on.

Cable on my golf cart broke. For a reasonable rate, I got a new cable and housing. Excellent repair! The tires were inflated, and the cart now folds up like it's supposed to

After just buying a bike from gilberts bicycle I would say both experiences were nothing but pleasant. The man behind the counter asked me whatbi was looking for and helped show me what he had available. He even gave me a small discount on the bike I had choosen. I payed and after his son gave it a quick shine they helped me stuff it in my 4 door sedan. Seemed like they had done that before. I will definitely be bringing them my buisness again

This place is great! Honest people talk to you like your an old friend and tell you like it is and not what you want to hear, bottom line the bikes my kids wanted were $90.00 more everywhere else, I saved $180.00+tax!

Best bike shop in the south bay. This guy will help you with anything bikes. He has loads of parts like brakes and rims and all the stuff you cant find at other shops or online. He will do custom work to. If your building a bike go here for parts and help.

I have an early 2000's road bike and couldn't get the parts I needed from Performance Bicycles or Aviation Cyclery. (Side note, both Performance and Aviation Cyclery are great stores. Performance has lots of high end equipment, Aviation Cyclery caters very well to hybrids and mountain bikes).

I walked into Gilbert's and found the size and style wheel I needed in stock at an excellent price. Gilbert's fee for the equipment and service was less than the lowest price I found online (and no waiting for shipping).

I have gone to Gilbert's for little things like tubes and spokes before - I will definitely be coming back for bigger ticket items. Great service at a great price.

Straight-forward, on-time, reasonable, Gilbert knows his stuff and he's not out there to take your money.

Mr Gilbert is a totally awesome person I know a lot people put bad reviews but I know there wrong I have been in these shop a couple times and will keep coming.
