The food is absolutely delicious! Our family loves Peruvian food and this place hits the mark everytime. Service was amazing as well and we got seated so quickly for having s big group. 5/5 stars! Highly recommend the tallerin saltado and save room for their ice cream for dessert!

This is probably the best Peruvian restaurant that you can find in LA. I had been looking for a restaurant that had pasta a la huancaina and I finally came across it here. The fettuccine a la huancaina is now probably one of my favorite dishes in the whole city. The lomo saltado is also really good. Would definitely this spot for someone who is looking for some good authentic Peruvian food. The prices may seem a little high but everything is totally worth it, you can taste the quality in every thing. Service is also really good and fast. There is also plenty of parking so that is not something that you should worry about.

Unique food and very warm services. One of uncle and titas favorite restaurant for 30 years. Susie... one of the servers still works here after 30 years. Goes to show how this restaurant treats its staff... that they still stay even how long.

I went there to try Peruvian food, the food was good and the service was good too, the price was moderate, the place was clean and neat, I noticed that they started with fresh bread and the salsas had a spectacular flavor & traditional. The parking is free & available. Great experience

Great food, unique and exciting. I left happy. Best fettuccine I've ever had, I wish there was more steak considering the menu photo, but I suppose it's fair considering the price.

Excellent Peruvian food, this is not a chain restaurant and it shows. Excellent service and in both Spanish and English. Reasonable prices for large portions. Not sure of the name of the dish but the steak was u believably tasty. A must go. They are open for lunch.

The best peruvian food I've had. Hands down the best Peruvian dining experience in the South Bay. For most people their only experience with Peruvian food is with El Pollo Inka or Inka Wasi. Those establishments are not necessarily bad, but the quality is inconsistent.

If you want high quality Peruvian food for a fair price El Roccoto is the place to go. Lomo Saltado was perfect, the calamari was crispy and the Bistec A La Pobre was cooked to perfection.

Don't bother with any other Peruvian restaurants. You'll end up paying for a lackluster experience. Bistec A La pobre should be more than edible *cough* Inka wasi.

Eat inside or take away. The chefs here at El Rocoto take pride in their craft.

10/10 would buy again.

Side note for owner: put a little more red vine vinegar in chimichurri.

I do not know much about Peruvian food - but I do know deliciousness when I eat it! And , that is what happened when my hubby and I randomly stopped at El Rocoto for dinner. We ordered items from the menu that were suggested by our attentive and skilled server. Everything was DELICIOUS. Reasonably priced, especially we each had enough for dinner the next night (it saved well in the containers given)! Vegetarian and vegan foods are available.

Delicious food and drinks...but poor service specifically in groups

I ordered ceviche mixtiado. Very delicious. Chichamorada drink so refreshing ,not sweet not bitter. Unique flavor. Passion fruit alcohol very good. Desert fried doughnut , not what u expect , very good. Over all great food , great ambiance. Will come back again

I visit this restaurant often. The food is outstanding and the service is good. Great variety of menu options and everything is prepared excellently.

Delicious food. Everything on the menu is great. Wash it down with Chicha Murada and you're good :) Will absolutely recommend this place!! The service is great and fast. All round good experience eating here.

Saturday I have the Lomo Saltado which is a Tenderloin Angus Steak. You can choose a different meat of the Lomo Saltado like Chicken or Seafood. And I enjoy it. I also have some of the appetizers Mixto Criollo which is a Cold Seafood and Papa Huancaina which is a Potato and Feta Cheese Sauce which is really delicious. So I think the first time I came here was with my mom and dad and the first meal I have was Tallarin Verde which is a Pesto Spaghetti and Chicken but you can also choose beef. So this is good place for a High Quality for Peruvian Food.

Service was great and food was full of flavor. I was seated right away and had my drink within 5 minutes of seating down. The food was served quickly and fresh. I love to try new places like this when I travel for work. I plan to bring my wife here for a date night and I have told my coworkers about this place.

No complaints, I enjoy this place very much. I love the food, lomo saltado it's one of my favorites. I've been here 5 times already. The staff is very kind. I've never had a bad experience here.

Awesome food, visiting 85° bakery a few doors down and found this hidden gem. Peruvian food at it's best, personal friendly as well. A bit pricey but worth every bite. 3

Great place! Amazing food. It was our first time trying food at this place, while we were also celebrating my birthday. All staff are very attentive. Our server Christian was super kind with great food recommendations; he kept checking in to see if we were doing okay. Definitely a restaurant we'll be coming back to.
