Charm Siam Restaurant

Came here for dinner and ordered: Kai sao, chicken friend rice, and pad thai. Everything was delicious that I can’t choose a favorite. Oh yeah, ordered a large Thai tea…and it’s LARGE, definitely wasn’t expecting it to be so big 😂
Will definitely be coming back to try different entrees.

Wanted a quick snack before my chiropractor appointment. Saw this cute place nearby and decided to get something from here. Originally wanted some wings but it would've taken too long. Ended up getting crab cream cheese wontons and a large Thai Iced coffee. So glad they had thai Iced coffee as not many thai places over been to has this anymore. The wontons were great. They were nice and crispy and decently sized. The coffee was very refreshing.

The Tom Yum was ok. Standad fare; nothing too special The fish dish featured almost more batter than than it featured fish in it. Sorry to say that but the food didn’t feel fresh or healthy to me. The taste profile seemed one-dimensional.
The observant reader might wonder about the 5 STARS. I made it my approach to support most local businesses that are small with a 5 star rating by default. It’s already hard enough for small businesses to survive in today’s economic climate.

This is a true definition of comfort food!

Located in Long Beach, Charm Siam is a quiant restaurant offering authentic Thai dishes that will really warm your tummy and soul! You also feel the warmth and hospitality of the staff as soon as you are seated! Food comes out pretty fast which is amazing knowing that you get freshly made food!

We loved everything we ordered here and will for sure be our new go to for Thai comfort food!

What we ordered:

1 Crab Fried Rice- generous crab meat in the fried rice and you can tell was made to order.
2 Shrimp Tom Kha- Coconut Shrimp soup is amazing as it sounds, has a little kick to it but not intolerable, my 3 yo loved it!
3 Garlic Fried Fish- a new staple to our order! Love the perfect crunch and garlic taste of the fried fish, comes with a sauce but you will be good even without it!
4 Chicken Satay- my kids go to, was executed perfectly, I think it's safe to say these are now my kids fave!
5 Garlic Noodles with shrimp- surprisingly so tasty, although this might be a fusion and not Thai based, the marinade in the shrimp was so simple yet you so tasty.
6 Drinks- Thai tea and Charm Lemonade that you need to order with all the yummy food!

This is the best Thai place for me in Long Beach. Also note this place was busy for a weekday night!

I’ve been looking for a good place to eat in Long Beach away from the chains by the Pike and I was very pleased with Charm Siam. My friends and I got the Boat Noodle and Pad Thai, both were flawless with flavor you won’t get anywhere else. I was pleased by the menu, many dishes were authentic and sometimes harder to find at other Thai restaurants I’ve tried. Our servers were kind and attentive. Excellent place to eat and my top choice for Long Beach. Prices are reasonable, rarely going above 15$ average.

The place looks great with the remodeling. The food is really good. The garlic and pepper with pork is very tasty and has lots of delicious flavors. The garlic and pepper beef is really good. Try the spicy eggplant and add some shrimp. So yummy!

We were sat and was greeted immediately by our server Paul … he knew the menu inside and out and made some great suggestions… Dishes were hot and plentiful

I tried food at this place for the second time. I was very impressed with the thai boat noodle menu. It tasted really good. It's a traditional Thai taste. I really like it. The desserts are also very delicious. I will often patronize this Thai restaurant.

First time at this Thai restaurant and I’m glad me and my friend ate here, friendly service, good atmosphere, LGBTQ+ friendly and the food was delicious. The chicken sate was delicious with a flavorful peanut sauce to go with it and the drunken noodles didn’t disappoint. Will be back in the future.

Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! But I'll start by saying the staff is some of the nicest people you can meet! Very warm and welcoming and make you feel right at home! I know there are a lot of Thai places to choose from in Long Beach, but this one tops the list! Thank you guys for always committing to nothing but the best quality for your food and your customer service! My friends and I have been there a few times. It was worth driving for an hour to have delicious food with excellent services. I couldn't eat spicy food, and they were happy to make me a new dish. Thank you for taking care of us in good manners.

fantastic locally owned spot with delicious food and great service! we ordered the veggie egg rolls, Thai iced tea, beef pad see ew, cashew shrimp and honey chicken. everything was amazing, affordable pricing and large portions

Last night, we got egg rolls, pad see ew, spicy eggplant with zero spicy (you can choose from 0 to 10 of spiciness). It was almost closing time, but the server was super nice to take orders for togo. All for veggie options; we chose all tofu. I love fried tofu, and I had the most perfect tofu ever. Crispy outside and tender inside. I highly recommend trying to have veggie options for your meals. It took over 30 mins to get home and eat, but the food was still hot enough. And I was pretty sure that everything was cooked freshly. I couldn’t stop saying “It’s so good!”
I wish this restaurant would be located close to where I live.

Great food choices and attentive service. The massaman curry and chicken wings made for a great dinner and leftovers. Parking wasn't the easiest though...

Got the Crispy Pork and enjoyed it so much! Crispy and savory!

Boat Noodles had a plethora of meats and organs! I enjoyed it and the flavor is great. It is a bit sweet but it balanced out the dish!

Khao soi was pretty good too. It was creamy from the coconut milk. I've had better Khao soi but this one is pretty solid.

Tom yum was also ordered and it took a while for it to arrive. It was really good though and warmed my soul!

I recommend if you are in the area. Also very gay friendly. :)

Best thai food in long beach. I am hooked on this place since trying it about a month ago. Perfectly prepared dishes... great flavors and cooked correctly. Small, very casual, family run, great service.
