From Ethan as the first face/stop all the way through to Hezi and Sasha, we could not be more impressed! My son has developed self- confidence, discipline, respect for the sport, and skills that make me feel secure in his ability to protect himself. As a local school teacher, I want to see more students/kids develop a thick skin and some grit. I like that Hezi holds them accountable and has high expectations. Thanks to the whole team!

I took the women's self-defense 3 hour seminar. It was awesome. I feel very empowered. I was taught basic and practical moves/strategies for common situations and attacks (being grabbed by the arm, pushed, choked) as well as the thinking behind the moves (awareness!!! learn from history!!!). I plan to go back.

I also did the 2 hour private lesson. I learned all the basics for loading, shooting and safety. Hezi was a great instructor. He was very patient and encouraging. This was exactly what I needed being a new gun owner.

I was referred to Israeli Martial Arts by Gabe Gerolamo. The three hours of training exceeded my expectations. I am 72 with both shoulder replaced and hip replacement and yada yada, and I could do most of the techniques. Moreover, Hezi's message of personal responsibility was profoundly significant, now, more than ever!

The beginner hand gun class exceeded all expectations. Hezi is an expert who teaches carefully and interactively. The class teaches safety and handling followed by live fire range instruction. Even as a student with little experience, you become comfortable and learn respect and care for the firearm. I highly recommend the Israeli Tactical Academy for all firearm and self defense classes.

This was an amazing training class. Hezi was taught me so much. Safety was the number one priority at this class which is essential for a live fire class. My friend and I enjoyed the class so much that we immediately signed up for the intermediate class. I highly recommend these classes for anyone who wants learn the best weapons skills in the world direct from Israel.

Excellent training course. Hezi was patient. He observed my weaknesses easily and was always there beside me to remind me that things must be instinctive. My oldest son was impressed that we learned to load and unload our firearms without looking at the firearm. I am already talking to people about the class. I want to do it again. It certainly boost one's confidence level. I recommend this course.

This was the best money I have spent in a very long time. This was my first experience learning about or testing a firearm and I was petrified. From the minute I walked in and met Hezi I knew I was in the right hands. He is serious, knowledgeable and a very capable teacher. I learned the laws that are in place and how to stay safe.
In my opinion everyone should go through this training to know how serious firearm safety is . I really feel like I learned so much and I learned from the best.

Words cannot describe the value of this school - you just have to experience it. I started here with a beginner handgun class to improved my existing skills and learned new ones that I wasn’t even aware that I was missing. My wife and I then joined the actual martial arts classes and instantly fell in love with the structure, the skills taught, all of the instructors (who are amazing), and the special community of fighters that practice here. I have never felt safer, more accepted, supported and encouraged to grow into the best version of me than I have coming to IMAA. My kids now train here too. They love the kid classes and the instructors. They always come out sweatier than I ever see them with giant smiles on their faces. They balk at going to other extracurricular activities sometimes, but NEVER at coming to the Gym.

Took the 4 hour beginner hand gun course from Hezi at A Place To Shoot firing range. Hezi is an excellent instructor and really knows his stuff. I highly recommend this course for those new to the world of firearms.

The family took a private handgun safety and training course with Hezi. He was very informative, thorough and had patience with my teenagers. We all enjoyed the class and look forward to further training!

Our children absolutely love going to martial arts. We live 30 minutes away, and there are many other martial arts studios between. But we feel it is worth the drive. It's THAT good! Hezi is amazing with all of the kids. He is very patient and positive with the classes. The kids all support each other, work hard, and have fun in a safe environment. Our kids are truly learning skills that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. We have seen their self confidence increase.

Our entire family took the handgun class and we all gained knowledge, confidence and respect for Hezi and his team of instructors. Our ages were from 18-57 and we all enjoyed the class. We are no stranger to the expertise and life skills Hezi Sheli shares as he taught our kids Krav Maga as young children. Their respect for him and his skills have been a part of their conversations with friends and family for years. I think every family should experience his outlook on life as he built character and humility in our sons while teaching them how to protect themselves.

Had a great one on one lesson with Hezi today. The course was very thorough and instructive on gun safety, respect to your firearms and proper form. Surprisingly I did very well at the range and will be back for more. definitely recommended.

By far the best martial arts school! For adults and specialty for kids! It will give you all the tools to navigate the world more confident and strong! They have privates and groups! And self defense classes just for women! I highly recommended!

This is a dedicated stablishment with experience, training, discipline and a big Heart. All the Instructors are professional, dedicated, and caring. My 6 year old daughter is loving her training, experience, and wonderful talks, encouragement from the Team. Very clean facility. Wonderful office assistance, IDF Veteran Instructors, MMA.

The Best! I was looking for martial arts classes in Westlake Village and found the Israeli Martial Arts Academy. Focused on fitness and practical self defense, these classes combine Karate, Judo and Jiu Jitsu. We drill knife and gun defense, as well as hand to hand combat. I've never felt more confident or had such a sense of community in a gym before!

I have been to other training sessions in the past. I have found Ethan at Israeli Tactical Academy to be efficient, articulate, and professional. His expertise and the ability to train others is praiseworthy. Really gained much.
