Ambala Sweets & Snacks

If you are looking for authentic Indian street food taste, I will highly recommend it. I have tried many restaurants in SoCal, Charlotte, Las Vegas and Atlanta but this one had the best snacks amongst all of them. I tried mirchi pakoda and jalebi, my friends tried kachodi, samosha. Also the they keep playing popular Punjabi music so you will get a ln Indian snacks shop vibe with a American touch.

Best place in Artesia! The staff are really nice. Paramjit, the owner, is super friendly. I have been coming to this place since the late 1980's and if you want authentic North Indian street food, this is as close as you will get outside of India or the UK! Cannot wait to go back!

One of those places that Jonathan Gold would have on his list of recommendations. The samosas are the best that I’ve had in SoCal—and the sweets and chai tea make a fantastic blend of savory, sweet, and spice. Singh the owner, is gracious and charitable—he kept the doors open for me past closing time and gave me a complimentary hot chai tea for the drive home. It was a great experience of service.

Excellent veggie samosas, Habshi halwa was amazing and the chai was good. Most Indian sweet shops add way too much sugar to their desserts but I’m happy to report that the Habshi had just the right degree of sweetness. Unfortunately, like much of Artesia, I did not feel entirely comfortable with the cleanliness of the entrance and seating area.

The owner Paramjit gave us an outstanding service. Our food order was perfect! We would definitely go back there again very soon!

My brother and I were strolling by here yesterday on our way to cerritos, and decided to stop into Ambala. We tried the paneer pakora, and it was delicious. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and immensely flavorful. A snack of two cost only $1.99! Fantastic.

Tasty food and excellent service. The staff was very friendly. Must try if you want to try a pure Vegetarian restaurant.

I went there yesterday and had gulab jamun and chia masala. It’s very good place to grab Indian food and pastry. I would go back.

Singh is a beautiful soul and owns a wonderful business. Not only is the food delicious but the service is 10/10.

This is a lovely little restaurant! I took the three boys I nanny here (ages 2,4 and 6), since we were doing a homeschooling unit on India. I wanted them to try some Indian foods and treats. Everyone here was so welcoming and helpful! They let us order many times and were very helpful about what to order. The boys wanted to try Papadams, since we had read about them in a book, but the restaurant didn’t serve them. The owner Parmjit, got some from the back and gave the boys multiple plates of them for free. He was so kind to the boys, answering all their questions and going out of his way to get them whatever they wanted to try. Everything we tried was very good, but the service and friendly staff was what really made out time there so fun. Thank you Parmjit and everyone else at Ambala for giving us such a lovely introduction to Indian food!!

I love to go here often. I love their Tea. There is one Uncle I don’t remember his name but he is awesome. Very very lovely person.

Truly Indian taste. Be prepared to wait for at least 30 -45 min before you can place an order and get the food but it is worth waiting. If you are visiting LA then plan to go there. You just can't go wrong with any item.

I specially come here to buy chhole bhature, I must say , I tried everywhere but this people make definitely different then others , if u like spicy , workers r friendly and respectful

This is one of the most tastiest and appealing place in Artesia! It is clean, great prices and If you are vegetarian and want a tasty meal this is the place.
The owner is so curious and helpful, and although we were unable to speak the language they where still able to recommend the best meal.

I've been coming to this place since I was a kid and it never lets down. Their kulfi is absolutely amazing. My kids eat it in seconds and they r picky eaters. Their chai is on point and all the mithai is yummy. A small "hole in the wall" but definitely worth the drive when coming to Artesia!

Excellent food with excellent hospitality and people. The owner Paramjit is one of the most amazing person I have ever met. I’m really glad that I came here and found this place. Loved their food and such amazing way of treating people. I will surely come again and again, and I do recommend everyone Ambala Sweets And Snacks. Do come and pay a visit there.
