Marlin Restaurant- Mexican & Seafood

My husband and I visited Marlin Restaurant for the first time today.
As soon as you walk in you can see the cleanliness of the restaurant.
The hostess has a pleasant and friendly attitude. She sat us down promptly and was ready to serve us. My husband asked her for recommendations. I ordered the cameron con ajo and he ordered the fish taco plate. It was amazingly DELICIOUS!
We definitely will be returning.

On my way to meeting and mapped restaurants in the area. The higher reviews brought me here, and it was a great decision! I got the Costa azul plate, I ate it all - generally I don't finish beans and rice, but they were that good. I ordered a shrimp taco too, OMG - will come back to explore the shrimp and gobernador. The batter on the fish taco was amazing! Well now I'm having the coco flan...never had one before...it's awesome. Despite so much I've just eaten, the food hasn't been heavy. They're using great ingredients

I had best Mexican culture and food experience at this restaurant. It’s a small cozy place. The chef and her daughter is really nice and friendly. Me and my husband ordered two dishes. One is Camarones Al Majo De Ajo and other one is Vegitarian Burritos. We also ordered a homemade Flan. Wow no words. It was mouthwatering. If you ever visit Artesia, don’t forget to visit this place.

Nice cozy little restaurant. The food was a lot better than I thought. I enjoyed the chips & salsa (both red & green) as well a small dish of beans sprinkled with shredded cheese. Besides the usual beverages they make their juices, cucumber was excellent! The plates look delicious & presentation includes some tasty garnishes. The restaurant is located in an L-shaped business center with plenty of parking. A little hidden off a busy street (Pioneer), but definitely a hidden gem.

I've visited here twice since this year started. The first time I was on a mission to find a local fish taco that I liked...not undercooked or covered in crema, but crispy and flavorful. Marlin delivered. 👍They do fish well. I really like their chile too. My garlic fish plate had a generous portion of food. It came with tortilla chips, potato salad, and corn tortillas. Now that's a meal!
The stellar customer service is what I really enjoy. The last time I was there waiting for my order I was chatting with the hostess and she had me cracking up. 🤣 This pandemic needs to be over because I can't wait to dine in.

My husband and I stopped in here for lunch on a Friday. The food was very good but what we really enjoyed the most was the service and atmosphere—it felt like the kind of family neighborhood restaurant that just doesn’t exist anymore. Very reasonably priced and we were well taken care of. I highly recommend if you want a cozy, relaxed, and reasonably priced place to eat. I recommend the tacos governador.

Best Mexican restaurant ever had been .!! For sure coming back. I order a shrimp burrito 🌯 😋 it was amazing 👏 🤩. Definitely recommend 👌.

Let me start off by saying I am super picky and have no problem leaving a one star but this place 🔥🔥🔥🔥 all day and Belen was super nice serving us. This place is a must to try.

Accidentally stumbled upon this place. It’s a marvelous cozy little Mexican restaurant. Good food, tastes great. Good people, kind and hospitable. A very personalized service from the chef and her daughter. Highly recommend this Mexican restaurant. 5-Stars!

The food is so BUENO and the young blonde daughter is amazing! Talk about great customer service and making people feel at home...but back to the food! Wednesday is(lucky for us) taquito day and you get three taquitos on a bed I lettuce and rice and beans and it is delicious and only $7.99! Get over this place and enjoy!!

I recommend the Taco Gobernador(shrimp and cheese) taco. They also have really good Carne Asada Fries

Some of the best food I have ever had in my life! The flavors are bold and salivating, the presentation was artistic and enticing, the price was fantastic- especially for the quality of food you're getting. It's too bad I'm from out of state- EVERY time we visit we will eat here again! The energy and ambiance is very friendly and upbeat. In all a gem of a restaurant! 👌
