If I can give 20 stars I would. I love this place. Just the fact that whoever's running this place now has common sense and shows intelligence. The format of service is by appointment only which I don't know what the heck they were doing before. You would go into this place before there would be like 30 people there with 30 different dogs in the lobby people waiting around for hours upset collectively complaining oh my gosh it was a freaking nightmare to go to that place before

It's completely different now. You go in there's nobody in the lobby maybe one or two people there isn't tons of dogs so you don't have to be worried about your dog getting along with other dogs. I run a business I've been running to business for quite a while it doesn't make any sense why this business before wouldn't just take appointments or any veterinarian offices for that matter.

The way this office is running their business is the most efficient and the least stress on the customer as well as the employees.

You could turn down the AC a little bit it is a bit muggy in there but I'll take that over having to see 30 people in the lobby with me any day.

Kudos to you guys for the very smooth and enjoyable experience bringing my pet to you.

Super nice! I loved how they treated us and my dog with respect! We went in so my dog can get her vaccinations…. she was too scared so they didn’t force her and mistreated her.

I take all our furbabies here.

This place is the best, the and For the price there is no comparison. My dog loves the people here that says it all. He even lets them cut his nails. 92 pound pit shepard

I thought I would save money going somewhere else but no I had to come back to Torrance Companion Animal Hospital as they are give great care for my dogs.

Very good service really liked it for my first time going!!

This is my second time here. Vaccines and a wellness check on my 12 year old lab/GSD mix. He's an old man and I figured he was developing arthritis, they confirmed and were pretty gentle with him. Gave me a prescription after saying he was in pain, gave other suggestions to make things a bit easier for him, and said that he is doing great for his age. He enjoyed his visit!

I took my puppy Benito last week for his shots and all i can say is thank you to all the staff from torrance companion animal hospital...very knowledgeable and helpful ,awesome work ...and a very happy dog!!

Great place that cares for pets! Front desk is very helpful and I feel the techs truly care about pets. They show great care and remember my dog when I bring him in. I feel very comfortable of my dogs being in their care. Very clean waiting room too!

I came into TCAH yesterday to bring in my dogs for their first deworming, wellness, etc. I am in a unique situation - recently my family got a female dog who had just given birth to 9 chocolate lab babies. I don’t have much knowledge on newborn puppies & it was also my first time at this vet. I have called this office countless times to ask questions before & after our visit and we have gotten answers! I was very concerned about germs around the puppies & they assured me every room is sanitized after every patient. When we got into our room, it was spotless & smelled of faint cleaning product to which I breathed a sigh of relief. Dr. Huang and the nurses (Mariah, and two young girls at the front desk) were extremely kind and attentive to my little buddies! Dr. Huang took her time with each of the babies and I really appreciated her thoroughness while looking at our mommy dog as well. They provided me with estimates of everything before providing services and let me take my time to read over & ask about anything. In the end, we left feeling very good & we are all set for everything we need. Thanks again ladies. Will see you at our next appt.

Our experience has always been pleasant. I don't wait long for my appointments and the pricing seem fair. To date, we have only been here for physicals and vaccines.

The doctor is very knowledgeable, discussed the result of my dog’s lab in person. Most of the vets, they will just call. He is very nice and pleasant. The manager and staff are nice and pleasant too.

I love this animal hospital! they took suuuuuch great care of our cat when he broke his hind leg and even for flea prevention they have always been affordable and professional! they love my kitty as much as I love him. and they send out mailing reminders for check ups and call about follow-ups etc. I haven't needed their services in a little over a year but I need to take both my cats in tomorrow for flea/worm care so I will update if their quality of care has changed. though I'm sure it hasn't! it will be my older cat's first time at this office and she is a finicky pain but I know the staff will be able to handle her!

I'd like to give this place 3 stars for the wait time. Over 3 hours for checkup and vaccinations. This is a great place and cannot, will not fault them for being so popular.
Affordable is not just the name, they really are. Veterinarians spend quality time checking your pet and answering questions and concerns. Staff are great, no demeaning attitudes or rudeness.
They are open late which is great.
They also have a groomer service, but we don't use them as our dogs have short hair and are easy to bathe.

Needed proof of sterilization of my dog from 7 years ago when it was Affordable Animal Care to be able to register my dog and license in another city after moving . They answered the phone on the second ring , were very friendly and efficient ,retrieved the record for me and emailed it to me in 5 minutes . Such a pleasant experience ,will be taking my dog there for all her future needs as well !!!

Greatest experience when it comes to visiting a vet! Not only did the vet greet us immediately with a smile and engage with snoopy quickly assessing his issue but her staff took snoopy to her surgery room and said they’d call when it was time to pick up Snoopy. Not only did they call but ! Called ahead of expected time. Everyone in the waiting area shared equal positive experiences- and their prices are most affordable- my new Vet!

I thought that my dog was at his last end cuz i took him to the urgent care on 190th after having a siezure and they told me that he was sick and suffering that i should just end his suffering put him down. I couldn't let go this was my baby boy i wanted a second opinion so i took him home. but after a few days of watching him suffer i took him to the vet ready to euthenize him told everyone to say there goodbyes. The vet at torrance companion said there was hope and that with treatment he could live another 3 to 4 years....thank God i didn't listen to the vets on 190th( i can't imagine how many people did and lost there pet that could have been saved). I'm so happy that the staff at this vet's office care so much to give me alternative. I will bring my dogs here from now on

We had a reservation for our dog, Star, to get her yearly shots and they had us check in outside and they took Star and we waited outside. They handled everything very efficiently. One thing we're finding out in these Covid times is that you better empty your bladder or do a number two at home before you leave cause it seems to be hard to find available bathrooms when you're out and about...

These people are amazing. I have a very old and very sick cat that needed x-rays and ultrasound. Every place around LA wanted to charge me around $1000 for those two. This place is doing a combination of both for a quarter of the price. Yes you have to wait a while and yes they are very busy but they are kind and understanding and patient with concerned pet owners. They even decided to give me a blood test for free because I didn't have the money. I can't be more thankful for the humanity this place has demonstrated.
They really care.

My kitty ate a piece of string, it tore into her intestines and was surely going to die. Dr. Lee performed emergency surgery on her and she's doing well. They saved her life. The front office staff is so lovely, I call several times a day to check on her while she recovers and even though I'm sure they are busy they always go check on her and get a full report. I'm so excited to be maybe taking her home today, but it was truly a Christmas miracle, not to mention if their prices weren't so great I would not have been able to afford her surgery! Thanks Affordable Animal Clinic!!!!
