Ingri Rivera!!!! How shameful of you to write such a terrible review full of lies! All of my children have gone through Kennedy and it has been the most amazing experience! Every staff member there from the teachers to the front office, from the principal to paras, librarian and computer teacher fantastic human beings and care about those kids. From the academics to all the extra programs they offer they are all about the kids the way it should be. My children always felt safe, nurtured, respected, and loved going to school everyday. You should take down your review and also consider moving to another school. By all means if your not happy go find somewhere else. Kennedy is all about family from what I have seen and experienced and so again please stop spreading misinformation and lies…

Kennedy is a beloved elementary school that will always stay with me. When I went there for my first two years, I felt like a outsider because of moving schools, had no friends at the time, and I all in all felt no love. That changed after I started getting into the clubs they offer at the school and being more involved. After joining Drama Club, I was no longer the girl who hated school. I turned over a whole new leaf. I was now a social butterfly who loved to make new friends, be joyful, and even get to know almost all the teachers and workers there. Mrs Pike especially changed and help shaped who I am today. She is very dear to me as well as Mrs Matthews, Mrs Chen, and even Mrs Ewald ^^. Sure she was a little strict and mean but I got to thank you for that Mrs Ewald (although I heard not only are you married but expecting a child ^~^ Congrats) because if I didn't have that I don't know how I would handle some of my current situations. The entire Kennedy Elementary school team is very loving and love to get active with the students, doing there best to engage students to come together. Thank you Kennedy for being an important part of my life.

Great School. Ms. Pike is one of tje best teachers. She will help any child succeed. My difficult child had his best year while in Ms. Pike's class

This school is the best my granddaughter is a great student. The staff is really helping her. There has never been a time she got held back. KENNEDY ROCKS.

Keep you children away from Jennifer Matthews, this is a very dangerous "educator."
We asked for a new teacher at the start or the school year and we were just given excuses my the principal as to why they wouldn't switch. Thanks to that decision I dealt with the following.

Ms. Matthews knew that my daughters mother had a history of enrolling my daughter in counseling at her old school to get her to tell the counselors I abuse her, the school then calls child protective services.

Out of retaliation she wrote a referral for my daughters mother stating my daughter had several emotional and mental problems, she never provided me a copy of the referral. I found out about it in court as my daughters mother used it to against me.

I also once again had child protective services and now police at my home to interview my daughter.

Please keep your children away from this teacher.

From what I have read this school has a history of calling child protective services for no reason and ruining lives.

They don't realize that they go home after their job is done, the kids and parents deal with their choices.

I have been contacted my several parents who faced similar issues and I would implore they file complaints against teachers behaving this way.

I was offered then quickly denied a job at ABC SCHOOL DISTRICT thanks to the staff, goes to show their petty and still seek need for retaliation.
