Been going to this dentist office for years, and even finally recommended my mom to start coming here. I’ve got multiple cleanings, fillings, wisdom teeth extractions, and one crown. All were pleasant as they could be. I was most nervous about the extractions, but Dr. Chiu noticed that I was clenching my fists and told me to relax, and since he seemed super calm about it I felt better and was able to relax. I ended up not having too much swelling that I was able to eat solid foods in less than two days (my extraction were for wisdom teeth that were already exposed)

All in all, good experiences here. Receptionists are all friendly, most likely bilingual in Chinese and Spanish.

Don't go there. I have been there for many years. Dr Chiu is not professional. His partner female Dentist did my Root canal.I went back to office after 4 weeks to get Crown put on as planned.I still had pain on my tooth. He examined and took another X Ray.He said my tooth was broken.I said your partner broke it by doing root canal.He said no. Then I asked him. Why you decided to do root canal if my tooth was already broken?He said that he can't see from prior procedure XRay.he has to extract my broken tooth.He will charge me $49 out of my pocket.plus he get money from my insurance.I questioned him about my out of pocket pay.He then left me on the table to attent another patient with half of my tooth already taken out.He doesn't care about patient.only money.money. I had deep cleaning done there.He found another way to make more money.He persuade me to do surgery to deeper cleaning my teeth(cut your gum to clean).I did one side of teeth.It is very painful even weeks after surgery since the gum has to heal.I decided not to go back to do another half.He never asked me again about another side of surgery.He totally forget about it.This make me think the surgery was not necessary.All about Money.Be careful if you are going this Dentle office.

I was a patient up until 2015 when I moved out from southern California. I started going here because my parents went here and they often just made appointments for me. This was a huge mistake. Not valuing my dental health has left me with bone loss. None of the dentists at happy family dental ever pointed out bone loss to me and allowed it to progress. A lot of the dentists at happy family dental seem to value collecting your insurance money and copay. They don't value patient care or bedside manner at all.

I am going to report this doctor Chiu for unfinished crown and root canal he will have no license. He just wanted my family money didn’t care about the patients at all. He left me hanging and kicked us out.
Unprofessional malpractice for pain and suffering.
Please save yourself and the money do not come here I want him out of business.
This doctor just wants money.
