Southwest Oral Facial & Implant Surgery

The Dr and staff are very professional and friendly. The surgery went perfectly. The Dr personally called me the evening after the surgery-from his home-to be sure I was doing all right. Extremely impressed with the whole staff!

I cannot possibly say enough nice things about Dr Matt Mizukawa and his whole team. From the front desk to the surgical staff, they are welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr Matt several years ago and I was so impressed with her care, that when it came time for me to get a dental implant they were my obvious choice. I highly recommend them for your oral surgical needs.

I went to see Dr. Matthew Mizukawa because I had a broken tooth on one side of a bridge. He got me in super quick for the consult. I wanted to get my implants done that year to use as much of my insurance money as possible for the year. With only two weeks remaining, I was pretty skeptical. They made it happen! The surgery went well and I couldn't be happier. They are great.

Best office I’ve ever been to! I got my wisdom teeth out here and then a few years later I had to get another tooth pulled and an implant placed. Each process both went so smooth and the staff is so nice!

I went in for a wisdom teeth removal and have never been put under before, I was very worried but the Doctors there helped me be calm and got them out in great time and I didn’t feel a thing!! Great at what they do!!

They were so good to my 4 year old who was very nervous. Also very willing to work with us when we didn’t have insurance.
We can’t thank them enough for their kindness and support with our lack of insurance.

My 3 kids who have had their wisdom teeth removed here have all said it wasn't a big deal. (Unlike their friends!) Well worth the 2-hour drive to get there.

I'll drive miles and miles for Dr. Neilson. After 3 dentist visits (to other doctors) and an ER visit... I found this office who not only took everything I was going through seriously, but IMMEDIATELY jumped into action to help me. Tooth pain is the worst, but this office is the best.

Dr John Mizukawa and all the staff were so kind and made me feel calm about my wisdom tooth removal. I felt very respected and like I was in caring, competent hands the entire time. They are also queer/transgender friendly, they took great care to use my correct pronouns/name and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you so much!!!

So far my experience at Southwest has been good. They have been very responsive to my needs and got me on a treatment program right away. My only issue is they do not accept Medicare which means fixed income patients have to pay out of pocket for a very expensive procedure. Not it's not their fault, implants are not covered but they should be. Especially since seniors begin to have more dental needs at a later age like I did. Thanks

Dr Matthew Mizukawa is amazing! Very caring and skilled. He called me the day after to check in on me. I really appreciated that! As far as the rest of the staff, everyone was so kind and compassionate. I never had a medical experience like this. I highly recommend this office and doctor to anyone!

We have had GREAT experiences with both doctors. 2 of my children had surgeries performed by Dr. Matt and Dr John. They are very knowledgeable, answered all our questions and are super friendly. I was very impressed after each one of my children’s procedure that night Dr. Mizukawa called to check on my child and asked if I had any questions. I highly recommend them in fact, I’m taking another one of my children in next month to Dr. Mizukawa for an implant.
