Bluewater Grill

The best and freshest seafood. Oysters galore. Calamari just fried right, crispy outside but not rubbery inside. Octopus dish very tasty. Scallops were plump and prepared delicately delicious. The only thing is that the service is slow. The ratio of servers to the size of the restaurant is low.

We really enjoyed our meal. Excellent. In terms of a view, you only look out into a marina, which is nice/OK. Nearby restaurants might have a better ocean view, but probably more expensive! Valet parking was only $5.

The octopus is one of the best I've ever had!!
I had the gemelli pasta with shrimp and scallops and it was AMAZING! So delicious and everything cooked to perfection. My bf had the gumbo... also delicious, just the right portions too. The staff was very friendly

Celebrated my mom's birthday here today over lunch and we had a delicious and delightful experience! The service was top-notch. John was THE BEST, personable and knowledgeable, and took great care of us. The food was good -- served warm, fresh, and fairly quickly. Portions were perfectly sized, everyone was pleased with what was ordered. We appreciate the care they took to ensure my mom and her friends enjoyed their meal and time at the Bluewater Grill!

My birthday dinner was fantastic. Service and food both top notch.

Excellent hospitality, delicately prepared seafood dishes, smooth drinks, and such a beautiful setting with modern outdoor heaters!!

We shared the swordfish and scallops and finished with the creme brulee!

I will always revisit when in Cali!

This was my first time here and I'll definitely be back. I ordered the King Crab Legs with scalloped potatoes and spinach. The crab legs were so good and they come pre-cracked so that was helpful. They even brought me a little bib. The people I was with all ordered the salmon and they thought it was really good. I also had a Cadillac margarita. I recommend it with the Casamigos silver.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Originally had reservations at Chart house for New Year dinner after the rude staff and horrible experience we decided to walk out and found the Bluewater was close by. Best decision we made to go here for dinner the food and drinks were excellent. I would definitely recommend anyone to go that is looking for a friendly and attentive staff with great food and views.

This place was very delicious! It was pretty pricey, but it was a good dining experience. My personal favorites were the clam chowder and the lemon pepper mahi mahi

We just went to Bluewater Grill March 12, 2022 for Dinner with the family 👪 and we all loved it. We sat outside looking 👀 at the Marina all 8 of us. The server was awesome, he was very polite and down to earth. He was on it with the food and drinks. We went to the Redondo location and we truly enjoyed it 😋. The food was awesome 👌 and the portions are good. The drinks 🍸 are great they aren't skimpy on the alcohol. If you are going around the area make an appointment the restaurant is packed. Parking is Valet only $4.00 not bad. You don't have to dress up. Great place.

A gem for sure ! Can’t say enough positive things about the wonderful staff & awesome food ! Outstanding job folks ! Our waiter was so amazing we were sad we didn’t get his name to recognize him individually here. He was originally from Guadalhara if that helps. We will travel back there sometime again soon just to come there once again for supper ! Thank you !

What a great find! Came across this place while on our walk and decided to try it out. Amazing food😋 The chopped chicken salad and salmon sandwich were both delicious. Got a window seat overlooking the boats in the marina. Our server started out amazing, but was a bit M.i.a. toward the end. Not enough servers? Definitely recommend this place 👌

Blue Water Grill has excellent food. We try something different every time we go and it’s always been delicious. I like to sit at the tables in the bar. You can’t reserve them, but they are worth the wait. There are tables for two and four people. Parking is valet or limited meters on the street.

Such a pretty restaurant with an amazing view of the Redondo Beach Marina! The restaurant decor is really nice and the restrooms are spotless too! Our server was so nice and patient when taking our order. The bread & butter were excellent and so were our meals! We love going to the Bluewater Grill! ♥

This is our new favorite spot! The food is sooooo good. Like, so good. The service is friendly and attentive. They have chicken under a brick to die for. And the bread they give you before the meal is crispy and delicious. Now I'm getting hungry again just talking about it....love that this is by the water with nice views of the boats.

Ample parking just outside the restaurant. Nice view of the pier. Ordered the lobster and steak. Lobster was soft and very fresh. New York steak was done to the medium rare as requested. No complains about the food. Best make a reservation as the place can get crowded even during weekday evenings.

The service was amazing, the food was good. The overall experience will definitely have me returning. We ordered the crab cakes - some of the best I have ever had, calamari (yuuuummmy), lobster roll- was ok, the paella was good, the salmon on cedar plank was moist and delicious , and fisherman’s platter was good as well.

Jorge the bartender/server was great! Attentive/informative.... Food was great.... We enjoyed the clam chowder cheddar and bacon fries on the happy hour menu which is from 3 to 6.... Along with their happy hour ceviche which was pretty good too. I added lemon and Tabasco to the and it gave it a nice zing!! My medium rare steak with scalloped potatoes and asparagus were to my delight.... along with the delicious free bread and butter topping it off.... And Ally the Greater was super sweet....
