City of DuPont

Sequalitchew Creek is a hidden natural area in DuPont, WA. This is an easy trail that starts paved and then to a dirt path. A little mud from the underground streams will sometimes creat a wet trail. The canopy of the trees provide shade as you walk down to old DuPont Warf seaside.
Bring walking sticks if you tire easily going uphill. Bring water and wear good hiking shoes. A nice 4 mile hike.

I give one star for their recent butchery of a lot of trees. I have read their "justification", however the sheer number of trees they have cut is an expensive and unfortunate results of poor planning by city officials. However, rest assured they have promised to replace them with other trees, so that in 15-20 years the officials that replace the current ones can kill those and blame it on their predecessors..the cycle of government mediocracy contines.
