I actually went in this place hoping to try pastries they showed on the menu which are posted on photo gallery - heart 💔 as no Matcha pan or muffin, no Krone with matcha custard, no Honey Roast Nuts stuffed with chocolate, no Rhubarb Danish & the Brioche Bread were not available either. The lady I spoke with at the counter said those are put out during xmas time, so patience is a virtue, looking forward to it.

On a positive note; I did buy the pastries on pics, great with tea or late. Pastries were semi sweet on the palate (were perfect) as well as the savory croissants for lunch. I found my fav to be the chocolate stuffed croissant 😜 Tomorrow morning going for a few more 😆😜. The apple pie croissant was ok. Will try the peach croissant next time.

Other than that, I was still happy with what I picked - the stuffed chocolate is a must with equal ratio chocolate to croissant. Staff is wonderful and place is beautiful filled with a variety of goodies for special occasion too. Impressed!

So many yummy options!! Also when you walk into tokyo central market, turn to your right and walking til you get to the end.

Loved the croissants, the curry pan(loved the crispy bits but messy lol) and my friend said the wagyu beef pie and cappucino muffin was really good

I did get there at almost opening and was hoping to try the matcha crossaint or some other ones ive see. Posted but they didnt have them, so be aware that some may be seasonal or maybe made at certain times? Having said that, still come! Everything ive had here has been delicious!

I ordered the peach pie (which is flaky like a croissant) and an iced coffee. They are very friendly. The peach pie was not overly sweet, which I liked. It made the flavour of the peach stand out the most. The dough was also really good.

Edit: went back and tried the green tea milk. It's a blended green tea drink with milk. It's SO GOOD

Absolutely beautiful sweet and savory pastries!

You can grab anything here and it's bound to be fantastic. Their pastries are delicate and sturdy....light and fluffy and crisp and also chewy and meaty and glorious

I’ve been coming to what used to be Marukai but is not Tokyo Central for many year and this was amazing surprise to come back to after not shopping here for a few months. I tried the breakfast, corn & mayonnaise and the tuna. They were delicious and full of flavor, a pleasant surprise for being sub $2. The corn & mayonnaise one reminds me of Elotes in a croissant. In the past two weeks since i tried them i have came back and bought them a few more times.

Can’t speak on the desserts, but the matcha latte is the BEST I’ve ever had! They use real matcha, so there’s that earthy yet sweet taste to it. This place is in the little food court to the right of the entrance facing towards western. Such friendly and welcoming service. Definitely coming back!

Delicious croissants inside Tokyo central supermarket. The croissants are flaky and buttery, and the fillings for other bread are not too sweet. We had a walnut bread as well and it was pretty tasty. The croissant with red bean is so good! I will keep coming back.

Drop by for some yummy food and cheap coffee! They usually have a cute little assortment of baked good on display. Friendly staff. Can't wait to enjoy these treats whenever Tokyo Central reopens their outdoor dining area.

This little bakery has some delicious pastries. It's located inside Tokyo Central and they constantly pump out fresh batches of pastries. If you go here during the evening, they might be sold out, so don't go too late. I enjoyed thier bolognese danish and red bean bread. Unfortunately they were out of the matcha croissant when I was there, so i'll be back soon to try that out.

Possibly the best pastries in the South Bay. I always go for the classic butter croissant (big and flaky), black sesame bun, Fuji apple danish, and red bean croissant. Be warned, popular items go fast and aren't always available.

In my opinion, this is definitely one of the best bakeries in the Los Angeles area. Taste, texture, and flavor are perfect. I like almond croissant and cronné. Price is reasonable for the size.

The selections here are really great and tasty. Would recommend the vanilla grone - pretty much a version of a puff pastry
