Been here twice for dinner and once for lunch within a few weeks.
Lunch specials are a bargain.
For dinner, am a fan of their:
Hybrid Roll
Shogun Warrior Roll

Seared Ono Roll was just okay, probably won’t order again; not bad but not as wonderful as I had hoped.
Not a fan of their crab rolls—too much mayonnaise for my taste.

Awesome! This place has different types of sushi that I have never had anywhere else. Not sure if this means the sushi is not very very original or not, but definitely the new types of roll (like sushi pizza and peacock roll) are amazing!! Definitely will go back here again.

Amazing service food and quickly! In my experience I didn’t have to wait for a table I came alone but when I did there was plenty of open seats for parties of 4. The waitresses are hard working and very nice! The chefs know what they are doing and the cuts and quality is great!

We had the best sushi and sashimi order at this place. The blue fin tuna and yellow tail belly were the best. In addition, we tried the shrimp boat and pink scallop which we hadn't tried before and they were outstanding. This place is number 1 and we will be coming back soon!

I hate to say how wonderful this Strip mall hidden gem is for fear it will get too popular. It's my favorite local sushi place and the prices are very reasonable.

Best Japanese-style cuisine I've had in a long time! We went here on a whim, and now we can't wait to return. Super friendly staff, quick service, and amazing food. Everyone's order was just phenomenal. 10/10 would recommend.

This definitely is a hidden gem located in a strip mall and may not look like much from the outside but it's known amongst the locals as the "it" place to be for budget friendly and super tasty fresh sushi. We ordered the seaweed salad, fire dragon roll, dynamite roll, gyoza, and uni for under $50 with tax & tip. You really can't beat it!! Make sure to check in on Yelp for a free seaweed salad!! Also, this place gets pretty busy and reservations are recommended!

I stopped in for a late lunch on a weekday. This restaurant is largely known for sushi but I had the chicken katsu curry which was phenomenal…It was one of the best I’ve ever had. I also had an order of gyoza which was also fantastic. This place is absolutely worth a visit!

My family and I would come to this restaurant as part of our Sunday ritual. Best little sushi spot in the South Bay. Unpretentious, always attentive with their service and they never compromised on the quality of the food or drinks. Love this place!

Fresh food!! Very good quality. I was expecting the bill to be in the 80s for the three of us, with tip it came out to $56. Definitely recommend.

Everything we've had there has been very good. Everything is fresh and professionally prepared. The owner is extra kind and dishes are very taste.

Ive been living in Redondo Beach a few blocks from this place for 5 years and didn't know about this hidden gem. Im so glad my boyfriend stumbbled on this place. We shared a LUNCH BOX , peacock, monkey, and eel roll it all was delicious. We ordered takout and everything was packaged nice and the food was fresh. I will defiently be back.

This is just a great all around Japanese restaurant. Prices are in line with other restaurants but the quality and attention to detail seem to be consistently good. Delicately fried agedashi tofu, a tasteful smear of not-distractingly-spicy wasabi on the nigiri. It’s a small restaurant though so it fills up quick. They also don’t check their emails often for OpenTable reservations so either call or reserve early, or go outside peak hours if possible.

Some of the best sushi I’ve had in the South Bay, and I’ve pretty much had it all! Fresh fish, innovative rolls, and great customer service. Highly recommend.

This is my favorite sushi place in the south bay. It's not fancy (its a small place in a strip mall) but that's okay. It's delicious. The service is always fast and friendly, but more importantly, the sushi is great. It's reasonably priced and they have a decent selection. I love their spicy tuna roll and the rock and roll. Also, they do free delivery if you live nearby.

Truly amazing. Best sushi I've ever had, and that's saying something. Asking Peter for the chef's special is a really neat experience, he will ask you generally what you like and then just creates serving after serving of unique sushi/sashimi/rolls/appetizers/soup until you are full. Fish is fantastically fresh. Great stuff!

Great food and fresh fish. Probably one of the best if not the best sushi around. They get fresh fish daily not the average sushi place by far. Recommend the fried chicken and any sushi item. Love this place and go once a week.....they also welcomed my service dog with open arms and gave him some sashimi. (He loves raw fish and seaweed) the staff is great and Henry is awesome

Miyoda is an amazing secluded spot I recommend to all of my friends. Their selection is solid, fresh, and delicious. The chefs are talented and friendly, and I always come out And unregistered start counting the days to the next visit. I love to ask the chef to surprise me. Has never failed yet! Stop reading this and just go.
