I came in with high expectations for the chicken based on what I've heard from reviews, and I was still surprised by how good the karaage was. I got the smallest size to try, and each piece of chicken is massive (I think I even got an extra piece). It's made fresh when you order and extremely hot and crispy. It's not overly greasy at all, but very juicy and flavorful, even if you don't get any sauces. I ordered the 5 piece thigh and the total came out to be a little over $8.

This place is amazing with one of the best Karaage chicken around. Kiddo had the karaage rice bowl, wifey & I shared a bowl of tonkatsu ramen with the thicker noodles, and a side order of karaage chicken with sriacha mayo.
Our order took a very long time and they made our visit worth everything and gave us their potato salad which ended up being a delish surprise for taking a long time.
With that being said they have extremely good service.

This place was good. My son wanted ramen, which was tasty. However, I wish we would have gotten the karaage chicken. It looked really good and it seemed to be the popular choice.

Food: My son wanted the miso ramen. He seemed to like it, minus the bean sprouts.

Service: the cashier was exceptionally nice and knowledgeable about the menu and popularity of the items. We only asked about the ramen.

Atmosphere: it was ok, this location is inside of a store, so it is hard to be judgmental about it as the dinning area is communal with all the other food options.

Overall, I would come back and want to try their karaage chicken.

The chicken karaage at Tenkatori is absolutely delicious. Well cooked. So much oil that so much juices coming out! Unfortunately the ramen the wings & the bento are not my favorite dishes to order. Instant but not homemade. Everyone likes the dishes. I feel satisfied in my entire life. The prices has gone up higher since I visited. Cash & cards are accepted at the cashier.

Got the A combo. With Shoyu ramen fried chicken and chicken fried rice. I fell in love with this place. And have been back several times since my initial visit. The ramen in the best I have ever had. The fried chicken is the most juiciest ever. My picky 10 year old even loved it. Every time I leave here I leave in a food coma. Completely full and beyond satisfied. The worker’s are always so friendly and polite. It’s a must try.

This place is inside the Tokyo central in gardena. The best item besides chicken karage and wings are the cartilage. It's so so good. Crispy and tasty to perfection.

We just like to get the fried chicken there. It's my son's favorite and is gluten-free. The family pack has 10 wings and 10 boneless thighs for 25 bucks and that is a good deal. I mean whole wings not little wing parts. And if you're not into wings, they have the 2.2 lb of the thighs. Thighs something like that which is a great deal. I tend to have to add a little salt to it when I get home. It's great to heat up the next day in a toaster oven right back to its crispiness. We live close to a Popeyes and I will drive over there to get chicken from tenkatori.

Tenkatori is by far my favorite place to get karaage. No other establishment has replaced it and I'm convinced it'll never be replaced in my heart. I've been to the Costa Mesa location several times and decided to check out their Gardena location to see if it was just as good.

-Located inside the food court of Tokyo Central. It's probably one of the first two food places you'll see once you enter Tokyo Central
-Cross Streets of Tokyo Central are S Western Ave. and Artesia Blvd.
-Good amount of parking in the shopping center. It may be a struggle to get a close spot, but if you're willing to get the extra steps, parking won't be an issue.

Chicken Boneless Thigh - You honestly cannot go wrong with just ordering their chicken boneless thigh. You can order it by 5pcs, 8pcs or 12pcs. Each piece is reasonably sized, seasoned and extremely juicy. It's simply fried to perfection. It's one of those rare cases when even the food is cold, it still tastes good. Maybe it's the batter they use but it makes their chicken so addicting!

I'm looking forward to trying the chicken cartilage the next time, but honestly, it is so hard to gravitate away from the chicken boneless thigh once you try it.

My girlfriend and I love this little spot , which is located inside Tokyo central, fried chicken (karaage) is so delicious even after being warm up the chicken doesn't get though to bite

Probally some if not the best karage you can get in the south bay. Will definitely be coming back for a larger order next time.

My recommendation is to get the karage (chicken) with no sauce or sauce on the side as it could get a bit salty otherwise. But phenomenal chicken, super juicy and massive pieces. Loved it

Perfectly crunchy on the outside, yet tender and juicy on the inside! I went twice (2 weekends in a row), first time I got bigger pieces that were slightly lacking in flavor. Second time, I got smaller pieces that were much more flavorful. Both times were yummy though! I went around lunch time and the order took around 10-15min to prepare. Bring cash if you plan to spend less than $10!

Absolutely blown away! Being gluten intolerant makes it very difficult to know whether or not I'll be safe when I go out to eat. But little restaurants like this make life so much better! The staff was so kind, and the food is to die for! I will be coming back constantly for more!

This was our best trip yet. The food was terrific,five stars ✨✨✨✨✨we enjoyed every meal and late snaking . The games were slow but entertaining, and the tables were a blast.
The room is what completes a great stay. There balcony rooms are a real game changer.

Best fried chicken around. Fried fresh, always crispy, golden, juicy, and packed full of flavor. The classic chicken thigh chunks are the way to go, and be sure to pick up a couple sides of their yuzu aioli. Absolutely delicious and you won't regret it!

Ramen and fried chicken in one spot is so awesome. The ramen is good with it layered broth that is almost silky. Then the fried chicken.... sweet and salty marinade creates this suprising crisp and juicy chicken. My go to here is spicy tonkatsu ramen with 5 pieces boneless thigh. I like to dip my fried chicken in the ramen broth.

This was my First Time Going to Tenkatori USA.I was Looking For a Good Eating Spot that has the Options of Serving No Gluten and No MGS Foods and Meals.When I Arrived there a Lovely Young Lady Politely Greeted me, and asked" How May I Help You", Then I Explained Exactly what I Needed and She Took Care of Everything I Wanted and Needed. Everything was Delicious, and the Service is Truly Excellent. TENKATORI USA INC is a Great Spot, with Really Good Food, and Superior Service, I Definitely will Be Back, Sincerely, Ray Spoon Of Gardena.

Great Japanese Osaka style fried chicken! Cannot go wrong with its crispy yet moist and flavorful on the inside chicken! They fry when you order so call when you are 15 minutes out and you won't have too much of a wait!

Probably the best karaage I've ever had. They fry their chicken using potato starch so it's gluten free if that's something anyone has to keep an eye out for like my boyfriend.
