Residence Inn by Marriott Los Angeles Torrance/Redondo Beach

This review is for the Residence Inn by Marriott in Torrance at 3701 Torrance Blvd. My husband and I stayed at the property for just over a month around December 2023. We wanted to leave a positive review of our experience. We had a studio apartment style room with full kitchen including dishes on the ground floor which was nice. It was facing the interior away from the parking lot, so the noise and foot traffic were minimal. It was plenty of room for two people with lots of storage space too. Comfy bed and pillows. The fireplace was a bonus. We especially appreciated the extensive free breakfast each morning. The variety was impressive: eggs, meats, waffles, oatmeal, cereals, fruit, muffins, bagels with many toppings. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub, but the area was well maintained when we walked by. The grounds were also well maintained with staff present frequently. We recommend this property.

Perfect location, a good area. The room was wonderful! two-room sweet with a loft. The front desk person, Patty was so helpful and sweet. I felt very welcome talking to her. I didn't try the free breakfast but my sister and her husband stayed here while her house was being remodeled and said it was great! The property is secure and VERY quiet, even though it's pet-friendly. The grounds are well kept and the laundry facilities on site were very helpful. The beds are comfortable and clean. There is a $300 deposit on suites that is refundable and it's been more than a few days since I've seen it returned but the website says 7-10 days so I'm not too worried about it. The ice maker in the fridge gave about 8 ice cubes every two hours but that's menial. I had a great stay here and will stay again when in town.

Vincent took an excellent service on our stay. Plus we love our stay at this location. Quite and very clean. Staffs are also very friendly!

I love the upstairs & downstairs configuration, allowing for quiet time.
the upstairs bed can be a little scary & dangerous for kids. it overlooks the living room downstairs.

Centrally located and great for extended stay. Rooms have full kitchens which is nice to give you more of an apartment style feeling while away from home. Great breakfast selection for the price.

Folks this is a simple residential hotel 🏨🏨🏨 that is two stories spread out over a large courtyard. The main portion of the hotel is nice, pleasant and clean. In the morning this place has a free breakfast spread. Coffee is okay 👍 and the waffle, eggs, yogurt, sausage and fresh fruit orange 🍊 Bananas 🍌🍌🍌 and apples 🍏🍎 were appreciated 😋👍 breakfast here starts at 6 am and I believe goes to 9:30 am I think? When you check in ask about the free breakfast 🥐 and the breakfast hours of operation. The staff were all very polite and the room is nice. The room had cable TV ,and a full working kitchen it has a full size refrigerator with an ice maker, a stove top and a microwave, the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes silverware, cups, mugs cooking items like a spaghetti strainer, can opener and a. A small sitting table and chairs where 3 people can sit and eat dinner the bed had a pretty softness, but held firmness to it. It did not sag 😊😁 and the bedding was nice and very clean. There is a shower and a long couch which a third person can sleep on comfortably. Plus for each room -suite there is a free parking spot. There is an outside pool which I did not use due to the chill. Also they have a barbecue grilling area. Which I didn't use due to loosy weather. It was cold, raining, hail-balling and plain miserable 😖 outside when I was staying at this hotel so my party was happy 🤣 the room was clean and nice and they had good cable TV 😅 I would stay here again if if your looking for a decent meal with-in the area. This hotel is in walking distance of "Wing-Stop" a chicken and french fry place located around the corner and a few blocks down the street located at 20796 Hawthorne Blvd Torrance California 90503 these places have a pretty good chicken Menu. On a scale of one to ten I give it a ten. :)

Wonderful place to stay. Exceptionally clean, great selection of breakfast and spacious comfortable room and bed. All the staff was always smiling and cleaning. From the front desk, to the breakfast staff to housekeepers and grounds. Great amenities and felt very safe not to mention the location was close to everything. I would highly recommend staying here, we stayed for 11 days and it was great! Thank you for a great stay

We stayed here for over than 2months because of the house fire, and I want to thank stuff that work here. They provided us everything we needed and even more. Breakfasts were great, cleaning regular and fast. Thanks for making us feel like home!

My sister and I stayed at this Residence Inn from 11/29/22 to 12/4/22. The place is nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious, dinning area always kept neat and clean. The highlight of our stay was Ms Bridget, oh she was awesome, very friendly, helpful and very professional. Her smile just brightens any dull day. She made us feel welcome and deserving of our little getaway. Any person that has to deal with people on a regular basis should get some training from her. Thank you Ms Bridget for making our stay memorable. Keep up the great job and keep smiling♥We love you girl!

The service at the front desk that we experienced was good. Hats off to Mr Enzo and his team.

The complimentary breakfast was also good (the coffee was not dark enough for me but this boils down to preference).

The location is near good shopping.

I've stayed here a few times and have been very satisfied every time. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with stocked kitchen, sofa and desk. Good location, close to major shopping and plenty of restaurants.

Absolutely love this place! We stayed for so long it felt like a home. Laundry was super far but everything else was perfect! Absolutely love the service from the housekeepers!

My family staying here after an accident at my parents home. Staff helped us get adjoining rooms on 1 hour notice. Then helped us move parents to the closest handicapped-accessible toom within a week.
Breakfasts are wholesome and variety is good. Cleaning staff is accommodating. Rooms are generally quiet. Gated parking is a plus.
The only thing is that carpet and hard floors are so old and dirty they are sticky and socks turn black in a day. Would love it if floors were steam cleaned periodically.

The rooms are comfortable. The TV has interesting options. The service people are kind and there is a boba time 8 minutes away.
