Best Western Plus Hotel At The Convention Center

The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, and it was affordable. The breakfast was good, and overall, it was a great stay. The location is ideal for those going on a cruise, and there is so much within walking distance. We also appreciated that the hotel informed us in advance about ongoing construction inside during the day. However, it didn't bother us much as we weren't inside much and only stayed for one night.

Don't waste your money on the other hotels in the area, unless you're just that type of person (who no one really wants to be around anyway). I travel all over the country for work and the biggest problem with downtown hotels is usually the parking situation. This hotel's parking setup is very easy. You simply drive under the hotel, park your stupid car, get in the elevator, go check in and go to your room. $23/night for parking. There's no gate to stop at or any of that nonsense. Oh....and House of Hayden bar is THE chillest bar I've ever graced (cash only) and it's only 53 steps from the hotel, depending on how long your legs are. Plenty of restaurants within the same block. This couldn't have been easier or more comfortable for me.

This was a nice walk from the Convention Center. The workers were helpful, giving me a map to find a local gluten-free restaurant. The hotel had its own parking garage under the hotel. There are lots of small shops and restaurants in the surrounding area. I really enjoyed my stay.

Best part of this hotel is the staff. They are super friendly. We stayed in long beach for a conference. The hotel location was great. I was able to walk all over the town. Day and night.
The rooms were clean and we could get as many towels as we wanted. Breakfast was good and there are so many wonderful local places to grab dinner. We did door dash one night with no problems.

i am a diamond member with BW you cant go wrong at this BW from house keeping to the general manager the most accommodating staff it clean it looked like they even swept the stair wells every day i want top say thank !!!

One of the better BWPs I've visited. The location is around the corner from a grocery store and near plenty of restaurants. Just a short walk to the aquarium and outdoor mall.

This is a nice quiet place to stay with friendly staff. It was clean and comfortable. There is a vons grocery store about a block away.

An older hotel but in a good location. Easy walk downtown and secure. The breakfast was good. The rooms were clean and comfy. The front desk staff were all very quiet/reserved but friendly and courteous. A number of nice restaurants and a grocery store very close by.

This place was GREAT! The location is wonderful. The underground parking garage is a nice plus. The rooms and hotel itself were spotless. The housekeeping does an amazing job all around. Front of house is very courteous and pleasant to deal with on all levels. Definitely a 5 star hotel hands down. Perfect for families or vacations!

Good location if you want to be near Catalina Express. Many restaurants near by including grocery store around the corner.

Only stayed here for one night, but I was very happy with the entire experience! The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the location is very convenient to walking anywhere downtown. There is also a complimentary continental breakfast with a good selection of coffee, fruit, yogurt, cereal, pastries, toast, eggs, sausage, bacon, and a waffle maker. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area!

Do you self a favor and stay away from this place. They constantly over book and run out room to park. Every one from guests to monthly members get the same bad treatment.
My car has been damaged because of this reason and today I was told to find a street spot even thought I PAY $ FOR PARKING.
They also have some shady for cash monthly parking deal with a motel 50/50 on Atlantic Ave.
I wouldn't spend a dime on this place if was desperate.

I stayed here for one night to enjoy Long Beach a bit more.This hotel was super clean and employees were friendly to me and my partner. Checking in and out was very easy. I would really recommend this hotel due to being very clean and close to Long Beach beaches. I really enjoyed my stay and the location of the hotel. The breakfast was good ,really enjoyed the waffles. But one bad thing Is that the pool had a bad odor. Overall, it’s a good hotel to stay at.

I am a local that needed to find a place for my colleagues to stay. The hotel has clean rooms and friendly staff. This BW is located in the heart of the East Village in Long Beach. Easy walking distance to the Convention Center and other places in DTLB. My colleagues were pleased with their experience.

The facility is freshly remodeled and smells great. The property is a 4 star but the staff really take it to another level. Lupe and Fabiola, the housekeepers, have to be the friendliest and most outgoing housekeepers I’ve ever met. I normally wouldn’t leave a review for a best western, but these ladies, along with the front desk made this visit awesome!

Stayed here by myself and as a woman I felt very safe. Was close to where I needed to be for work. Was shocked when I realized there was a small balcony with a chair and table. Even though it faced another building it was still nice to get outside for some air. Room was a great size with room to spare. Would recommend to other people and friends.

I love staying at this hotel. I stay at this place when I come to Los Angeles.

This place was great, the room was always clean, house keeper really care about her job. she will literally fold my girls clothes if i left something hanging around, she organized the toys daily, clean towels without me asking for even when they ask you to leave the towels on the floor if you want new ones and we didn't we will always find everything organize, balcony was great for my kids, good food near by the taco place has delicious tacos
