Best drip coffee I’ve had in a long time!

Visited this shop for the first time on a Tuesday morning around 8 am. It has a small indoor area with seating and a parking lot on the side of the building. I was greeted by a super sweet barista who was so helpful and friendly.
I ordered a lemon croissant pastry that she offered to warm up, a large black coffee (amazing!) and a bag of the same beans that was made for the drip to take home.
These particular beans were so nice, smooth, buttery and most importantly not very acidic. If you are looking for good coffee beans to gift a friend or brew at home yourself, I would highly highly recommend the bag I have pictured here! I am looking forward to returning and trying the other beans they offer.

Amazing! This is going to be a go to spot everytime I come home to visit from now on. Only bad thing is that I didn't learn about this place sooner, oh and that they were all out of shirts in my size. Great people and great vibe in here. Coffee delish of course!

I met this amazing woman here at Patria Coffee! Honestly, at first I felt a bit weird from just being there since it was my very first time but she made the whole experience so much memorable and calming. Now, thanks to her, I'm definitely coming back to this shop! Shootout to Lena! Also the drink I ordered is a large iced vanilla latte 😋

I came in having questions regarding beans at Patria, and the roaster was able to take time from his day to answer questions. We went through a coffee cupping experience to review some of their beans and to narrow down the beans that I desired. The staff there were very welcoming and treated me like coffee family. I can’t appreciate it enough and will be making time to head over to Patria in the near future.

I went to Patria’s a while back on a Wednesday around 11:00 so my memory might be a lil spotty, but I think I will recall a lot of accurate things in this review. It was my 1st and last time here, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t go here again. I most absolutely would go here again! It was a great experience, but it was more so that the place is far from me and I would go again if I met up with friends there. It was a warm day and was a lil warm inside, but there was seating to be found so all was well.. My assessment of my visit will go over 4 things which are cleanliness, aesthetic, employee engagement and food with an overall thought regarding if I would return to this place:

Aesthetic: I love the intermingling of coffee and chicanx/latinx here! Super cute with plant mom vibes, very much my vibe lol there is a good amount of seating, but if you got there when it was busy, you might not make it to a table. Of course, the music was great! Good volume for talking with others. Outlets were placed in good places and there were enough throughout the place. This place is a vibe and I like it a lot!

Cleanliness: Patria is very clean and it was a great place to do work and not feel cluttered. No trash on the tables or the floors. Restrooms are clean too.

Employee Engagement: I was served by a wonderfully nice lady and another employee. They were super engaging and polite, helpful and kind. I asked them questions about their plants for sale and they had all the information at their fingertips. Wonderful!

Food: I just got the Mexican Mocha and it was so good!! Probably the best one that I’ve had from a coffee shop! You can tell that they actually use Ibarra and that makes a huuuuuge difference.

Overall Thoughts: I looooooove this place! I’m just sad that I live so far from it! It is so good and the atmosphere fits my work study style so well! I can’t go consistently, but I suggest that ya’ll go to Patria and grab yourself something.

This shop holds a special place because I grew up here as a teen and coming back to Compton as an adult is nostalgic and bittersweet in some ways. The coffee here is always spot on and it's the perfect place to read, catch up with friends or simply to people watch.

Affordable quality coffee roasted in house with house-made syrups. They offer vegan-friendly drinks and have multiple nondairy milks. This is a coffee shop for the community and it really delivers on that mission.

Compton coming up! With Komiko and moms burgers Compton boasts in the culinary world of LA and now can say it has an essential coffee shop with Patria coffee. Rustic decor and a good election of drinks. Parking is easy and has a nice outdoor grassy area.

First of all, there's parking along the lefthand side of it so that was wonderful. It has really nice vibes, there's green plants outside and a nice seating area. Then you walk in and it's lively with conversation, there's plants for sale, there's a free book box for a project, there's a selection of drinks and friendly baristas. I got the oat milk coffee slush and it was delicious. He got a hazelnut latte and it was sweet and icy. We shared a vegan coffee bread and it was pretty good. The place is sha-poppin so, order ahead. They have a website where you can place online orders for pick up and I would suggest you do that.

I've had the pleasure of going to Patria for four years now. I love the coffee and the service! Thank you Jeffrey for choosing Compton to do your business!

Love this place. Customer service is always great! Guests are always friendly. It’s a great atmosphere to work or to have a chat with a friend. The restroom always clean and outside too.

Great service employees where very knowledgeable about the coffe. I had the Vegan coffee cake and it was freaking great, never had a vegan coffee cake before and that one was a 10 lol. Also had the cappuccino served in a actual cup and plate just like the cake with a real fork. Very clean was welcoming, i had a meeting this morning. I will definitely come back. City of Compton please keep bringing business like this one to our City.

I absolutely love Patria! All their drinks (coffee and tea) are amazing. My favorites are the lavender hibiscus tea and their cafe de olla. I no longer live in Watts/Compton but always stop by when I visit!

My friend and I just happened to stumble along this place, she noticed it and we decided to stop by. Place has a very rustic homey feel which is awesome. We were greeted and I immediately felt a connection to this place. They have a nice variety than the typical Coffee spot but what really sold me was the values this place stands for and it's connection to the community. Staff was extremely friendly. It was just a beautiful ambiance. It's also located next to a park, so it was nice to just sit outside with a good cup of joe! Highly recommended

Stopped by for a quick coffee and was not disappointed. The Cafè de Olla Cold Brew is the way too go!! The iced latte was also very good. Very nice ambience inside and the workers are extremely friendly and inviting.

The caffe the olla is popular for a reason! I got it iced and don't regret it. Most importantly can I just say this little shop has some of the greatest vibes! Beautiful and friendly folks that a return is definitely a must. Thank you for the welcome!

Easy parking. Quick service. Had the drip coffee which was great. The Ibarra mocha was not too sweet and I’d definitely get it again. Took a bag of the espresso beans to go.
