Hellen School for CNA

Helen has a good sense of humor, very enjoyable listening to her as she mix it with something to make students smile and sometimes laugh. She can be strict cause she wants you to learn of course. She’ll make coffee or tea everyday for all the students for free! She gave us free lunch on our first day of clinical! I strongly recommend you choose Helen School in Long Beach! You won’t regret it. As you go attend the class, you’ll feel at home! Most students call her “Mama Hellen” 💕

Ms Hellen is an amazing teacher; she is extremely caring and knowledgeable. Her goal is to make you become exemplary CNAs and pass the exams. She is always willing to help and tries to give you confidence. Ms Hellen’s saucy attitude will keep you laughing and on task.

Nothing but love from hellen she is very funny with alot of blunt humor. 100% would recommend very flexible with your schedule I'm taking 14 units in lbcc and work a part time job and managed to fit this in with her flexible schedule. Always feels like home and I feel confident in taking the cna test. I have a friend who passed as well. Wish you all the best in your nursing careers👍

AMAZING SCHOOL!!! I learned so much in 5 weeks, I was scared, anxious, I felt incapable of retaining so much information in such little time, but here I am today super confident in myself. I NEVER write reviews but Hellen School for CNA deserves one. Ms. Hellen genuinely cares for her students. Shes a spicy woman! She has a great sense of humor and is an amazing teacher. Her class is easy for the most part, all curriculum is mainly common sense based. As long as you pay attention in class, do your homework, and pay attention when learning skills. You will 100% pass not only the class but the state exam as well. The class is in Long Beach, it is a mix used property. So she does have other tenants. We were lucky enough to also be able to learn in a nursing facility. If youre looking for a CNA program this is definitely the one for you!! Thank you so much Ms. Hellen!!

I went to this school for my CNA license. Ms. Hellen and Paul were wonderful teachers and truly showed how they care about their students. Mr. Paul spent extra time with my class to work on the skills needed for the test, and Hellen would feed us when we were hungry. She makes a spectacular veggie soup (just be sure to clean up after yourself :)
This school is one of the best for CNA licensure and I highly suggest it. Study the modules she gives you, find a good group of friends who care about the subject, and you'll be fine. All the best to any incoming students!

She taught us not only the CNA course but inspirational life lessons as well.She cares a lot for her students. She made sure everybody understood the theory and skills. By far one of the best schools that I have come across for CNA & HHA.
Both Mama Hellen and Paul are awesome instructors and go above and beyond, and make sure you get more than just the education but actually master the skills. She’s not just a teacher but you can see right through her the years of experience she has. She’s loving and caring and she transmit that when she tells you about her life experience and how she has cared for her clients. Took her HHA class. For $500, you can't beat the price. She's nice and attentive to her students. She'll answer any questions you have.

There is really no way you cannot pass the state exam if you attend Ms. Hellen’s class for CNA. She is very informative. You will learn more & beyond. Please use every chance that she gives you, to practice skills & ask questions.

Hellen CNA School is the best ever!! Miss Hellen cares for all of her students, and reinforces that we all understand and are prepared for the CNA State Exam. As a full time college student and completing the CNA program, it kept me busy. However Miss Hellen worked with me and made sure I was not behind. I graduated this CNA program, and passed the CNA State Exam with no problems! I strongly recommend if you want to become a CNA go to Hellen CNA School, you will learn all of the material in 4 weeks and you will pass it! I took CNA course with Mrs. Hellen, it’s a short course and she really focuses on getting students prepared for board exam from the moment you walk in, until graduation.
She is passionate about teaching and has a wealth of knowledge, not only for your CNA career but in other aspects of healthcare. She also gets you started with a prepared resume

This review is a combined review from 4 of Helen’s former students. Let us tell you what to expect. Miss Helen is an RN who knows her stuff. She has a ton of knowledge to share and gives you in-depth analysis of how to properly care for residents. She can be stern at times, but it’s obvious she truly cares about her students. The class is fast passes so keep up, and make sure you study. I also recommend taking some time off work if possible. Take advantage of the time she gives you in class to practice the skills. We highly recommend signing up for her school. And if she offers you a bowl of her tasty soup, eat it all and clean and put away your dish ;) It was a pleasure getting to know Helen and her students. We are taking our test in 12 hours, wish us luck.

Update: So i have spoken to most of the students that took the class with me, everyone of us has passed. That speaks for itself. Sign up for her school and you will pass.

I would highly encourage anyone who is considering getting quality learning and experience to come to Hellen school for CNA and HHA. Mrs. Hellen is not just an instructor she is a life coach, she is everything you need to succeed in the nursing field and in your life!! Her goal is to see every one of her students Thrive! Hellen School for CNA is truly the best school! I just graduated, along side with many others and and we all testified to have great times. She simplified the learning process, that even a lame man will understand, she made sure everyone was carried along when teaching, she was also very ready to explain, teach whenever her attention was called, she took care of me and my family when they came around during my HHA cooking, that we all were amazed, she is really very patient with everyone, caring, considerate and thought me how to be a better nurse.
