Residence Inn by Marriott Long Beach

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and had kitchenettes with dishes, dishwashers, and a stove so we could make our own meals. The breakfast bar had plenty of options, even oatmilk. The pool, hot tub, and gym were nice and clean.

Great location. Close to freeways, a block away from gas stations, Starbucks, etc. But the rooms... Awesome layouts. I really liked this Residence Inn by Marriott, in Long Beach. And I have stayed at several. Justin was welcoming and the rest of the staff were wonderful. Excellent service. Breakfast is also included.

I was in a newly remodeled room and I have to say, it was wonderful.

I will definitely be back. They had a Meet and greet that was really nice and the snacks were delicious.

This place was the perfect balance between budget, value, and quality. All rooms came with complimentary bathroom essentials (toothpaste and toothbrush), complimentary breakfast (lite version of continental breakfast, more on this later), and complimentsry spa facility (jacuzzi until 10pm).

The room was mostly clean. We had the studio room with a king-size bed. The bed was clean and tidy. The unit, in general, was clean. It came with a kitchen set. Unfortunately, some of the utensils were not clean. We could see some hardened food from previous guests.

The breakfast was a nice addition to the experience. While it was not a full-scale continental breakfast, we did get some breads, proteins, milk, coffee, juices, and fruits. The bagels could use some love though--it was a bit hard and bland. I'd suggest replacing bagels with white bread.

Overall, the experience was solid thanks to high quality management along with friendly and helpful staff.

We only stayed here one night, but wish we stayed longer. Maybe next time if we get back to Los Angeles. Facilities are great, as is the breakfast and the staff. The location isn't the greatest, but the expense of getting into town isn't too bad I guess. Quiet and clean. Room was comfortable and well appointed to enable self-catering.

The Residence Inn Ling Beach is a well located clean option that won’t break the bank.

The hotel may be a little dated, but it is well maintained.

The staff is friendly and the night parking is secure and well lit.

The road can be a little noisy, but it quites down at 9:30 pm or so

Staid here for my sisters wedding. Charming little rooms. Parking is a bit awkward, and it’s hard to find the rooms. Overall a good hotel.

My family and I loved it. We rented 3 rooms to accommodate us all and the property was great. Rooms were very clean with a homey feel to them. They have nice staff, a laundry facility, plenty of parking, a beautiful patio area with barbeque pit and outdoor pool. Great experience and we will definitely be returning to this hotel again.

We were skeptical due to some bad reviews but it was a Good 11 days. Our room was clean and tidy.
We did not use pool or hot tub so can’t help there . Laundry room needs Help! Breakfast room was well done and clean. Road noise from 405 and surface roads is minimal. Neighbors respectful. Local market a few miles away! Last but never least ! The staff was helpful and kind! Will definitely stay again when in area.

Currently in Rm 111. I'm disabled and the female clerk thought this room best for me and my walker and one bag. It is about as far away as possible but right in front is a busy street and, lucky me, a car wash next door. Road noise awful. The room is clean except for a "goo glob" in the carpet and 2 or 3 flying bugs. Trying to rest but road noise disruptive and bothersome.

The hotel is unassuming, maybe even a little run down from the outside, but it impresses once inside. We had a large room on the top floor, the 12th, with a comfortable king bed and nice large bathroom. My only complaint, while minor, is that we only had 2 large shower towels. It was easily reconciled. The elevators that face outside to Ocean Blvd are quite nice. Sip lounge has friendly bartenders and the secure parking seems like a fine place to park your car. The tv has a QR code remote function and there is a mobile key option as well. Nice stay!

Awesome hotel to stay for a long time. We were actually staying in extended stay america just beside this hotel but as we didn't like the atmosphere there we decided to check out 2,3 days earlier. And we're searching for a better hotel in Long Beach with kitchen. And we found this one just next door. Layout is like two storey row houses with a room on each floor. A good sized swimming pool. Breakfast is complimentary but we didn't avail as we had kitchen in room. Parking right in front of rooms. Excellent condition of rooms, spacious...with a double bed and a couch which can be turned into a bed. Kitchen with fridge, oven, sink, small dining table. Spacy bathroom with shower tub. House keeping is excellent. Toiletries are kept full. There are paid snacks and beverages at the reception. Good connectivity with roads and Long Beach airport. A little on high side of budget than extended stay america but it's deserved.We loved our stay here.....👍🏻🙂👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Nice clean place to stay. We were downstairs and the upstairs neighbors were a little noisy. We told the management and they were able to quiet them down. The staff was friendly and helpful. Including suggestions on finding local places to deliver food to our room. The pool area was a little noisy and crowded. Having breakfast available at the gatehouse was nice tho.

The pool was a little cold but once I got in I got use to it. Loved the Hot tube & having it so close to my rm. Not to mention the room, it was so clean, had all the cooking amenities needed. All clean dishwasher, stove, refrig. Clean linens. & Love that they put a safety latch on the sliding doors..

When we come to Long Beach and the surrounding communities, this is our home-away-from home. It's like a small, comfortable apartment. Everything is clean, well kept and reasonable. Right off the freeway. Great staff, friendly and helpful.

Excellent customer service. I was given zero hassle when checking in and the entire week I stayed, there was not one problem. The room was a loft and very spacious and clean. The maids took very good care of the room and I was able to get what I needed from the front desk when I asked for it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be returning if ever in that area again.

Only stayed here one night so I could get to LGB first thing in the morning without any concern of traffic. The room was very spacious and very large. The person who checked meet on was very nice. Other than sleep here, I didn't do anything else.

Had to stay for 2 weeks to recuperate after I had surgery. The staff was amazing. So helpful and friendly. Everybody went above and beyond and I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. I highly recommend this place.
