The above name of the Cafe indeed best fits it, very well.

The seatings are very comfy with cushions placed against a French- glass wall bench like seatings, indoors. The Cafe has additional outside street seating, that is
certainly romantic, I can imagine in the evening.

I learnt from the two customer service personnel, (Andrea, and Alexander brother and sister), Ground Hideout Coffee Cafe, that this is a family owned restaurant .

This restaurant was recommended to me by one of the Starbucks personnel, (Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach, California), as I was looking for a nice sit-down Cafe in the area.

This Cafe is entertaining, with music in the background, and their customer service is absolutely amazing. I ordered coffee macchiato with carmel and with egg spinach biscuit, which was very healthy and nutritious. What I had was a little pricey, for me.

The Cafe has a variety of food on the Menu to choose from.

The restaurant has side street parking and accessible doors for wheel chairs.

This place is a hidden gem with great, quality coffee and delicious food! It has a cozy ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating, and great music.

The Orange Cardamom Latte is my favorite along with the Matcha Rose Latte! I love that they change out their specialty menu every season with new drinks that are always fun to try! I also really enjoy the sunrise sandwich with a housemade habanero jam and the breakfast burrito. The chimichurri melt is also soo good and unique.

Highly recommend this amazing spot!!

This is a real gem of a place in Long Beach. The avocado toast with a fried egg was lovely. Staff very friendly. Not the cheapest place but well worth it.

It's run by a local family. They make you feel welcome like family. The coffee is brewed perfectly. It's the perfect coffee shop vibe. Great seating. Thank you for all of your hard work, Hideout team. Eva. I would like to see the watercolor I did of your shop.

Stopped here for breakfast and the drinks, good and service were all amazing!!!

We love this place for our Sunday morning coffee walk. The best breakfast biscuit sandwich! Tasty coffee, with yummy seasonal drink menu. The family that runs it is always so nice and helpful. Truly a lovely little LB coffee shop, and with so many choices for coffee in the LBC, we love coming here regularly.

This coffee shop was the bomb! They made me free special and acknowledged, like a hug from my mom. They were supportive in helping make a decision and made great coffee.

My wife and I visited Long Beach for a weekend and she found this shop on google. Tried it out first day here and enjoyed our coffees so much we decided to come back a second time before we had to leave for the airport. We had the mocha, cortado, and shared the avocado toast and a breakfast burrito. 10/10 for everything! The music playing was very chill for a Sunday morning. Alex, who was working was super friendly and attentive, the food was flavorful and delicious and we loved the coffee so much that we ordered a second one to go even after having a full breakfast and coffees. Will 100% come here next time we visit Long Beach

Chimichurri sandwich was nice but a little bit too oily. The regular oat latte was huge.

This place was perfect! They made our matcha tea latte with no added sugar and my oat milk lavender latte was just right. The avocado toast did not disappoint on fresh sour dough, at just the right thickness. We'll be back!

Typing this as we are licking our cups because of how good the Heartbreakers Latte was. It featured espresso, dark chocolate, raspberry syrup, dried berries garnish, and definitely a lot of love. We also got the last vegan blueberry coffee crumble muffin, wow, no wonder there was only one left. No words. As a vegan I’ve tried many desserts but this takes the lead. We are thankful the server recommended us not to get the pistachio milk because it would have overpowered the drink, which was kind for him to suggest :-) I always look for coffee shops with creative drinks and delicious treats (vegan friendly too) and this checks all the boxes! 11/10 recommend <3 from two happy and full customers

Ground Hideout is a lovely spot in Long Beach to get some coffee. It's a great medium space with plenty of space to work or meet with someone. I appreciated that the music wasn't too loud. What really sets Hideout apart is the food items they have. The breakfast burrito is amazing. This all falls under the care of a friendly staff.

super cute and great food! i loved the avocado toast so much and my sister’s almond butter toast was amazing. Loved the seasons options and all the drinks looked so yummy. Presentation and ambience were great. Staff was so friendly and I would definitely come back!

Decided to grab lunch and a coffee here one day during my lunch break and I wasn't expecting much but I left satisfied. I got the avocado toast with egg on top and an iced mocha. Both were made pretty well and it was so delicious. Will have to come back again.

We got the turkey panini, sunrise sandwich, an iced mocha, and the strawberry fizz. It was all sooooo delicious, the habanero jam in the sunrise was the best I’ve ever had. We sat outside at a cute table and they had very relaxing piano music and the street is pretty quiet. Very nice all around.

I got their peach iced tea which came out fast and it was really good. I did some work on my laptop there, WiFi was fast and the outdoor area was fun. Great little place to hangout.

Such a cute coffee shop! Came here to do some work and the lofi vibes were perfect. Orange cardamom latte was super good and not too sweet.

This was the perfect brunch and coffee spot on our visit to Long Beach! The espresso was high quality and the biscuit and toast were to die for !

Very cute and popping place! The baristas were sweet and worked fast for the amount of customers they had. I got the seasonal iced blueberry latte with almond milk. I was afraid it was going to be too sweet but the flavor was perfect and I could still taste the espresso, which I feel can be overpowered in other drinks. Worth checking out and walking around the area too!
