Super Mex Restaurant & Cantina

Great place to enjoy a Guac, chips and Margaritas! I've been here twice already and both times, the food and service has been superb. Stop by without hesitation.

One of my Birthday celebrations. I love Chile Relleno. Food was hot and fresh, restaurant was clean and service was great.

Awesome food. The service was spot on. The salsa was unbelievable. The sauces on the burritos was spectacular. Definitely freshly made. I can't say anything bad about my experience. My wife enjoyed a mojito and states it was really good. Great vegetarian options as well.

The only reason why I'm giving a 5 star is due to the food that was brought to the table was piping hot. However the server literally brought out each plate 10-15 minutes apart. Not professional

Great cuisine from south of the border! Having traveled traveled there many times, the atmosphere with the paintings on the wall remind me of my experiences in Mexico.

When in Lakewood, this is a terrific opportunity to experience Super Mex and Cantina. The wait time was just a few minutes to freshen up the table and service was fast and efficient. My drink never got to half empty as they are highly concentrated on the guest. Not to jump into a ton of details but your seriously missing out if you pass this place up. I went straight from LAX to here.

This was our first visit to the one in Lakewood. The salsa is probably the best I have ever had. I highly recommend the chicken taquitos. My daughter had the cheese enchiladas and said they were the best that she had ever had, and she is quite the connoisseur. We visited again the next week and the service was just as great as the first time as was the food. I highly recommend this location.

Always great food and service. Same owners as the downtown L.B. location so it's consistently good. Also the OG margaritas are the bomb.

First time eating this Super Mex location. Nice size restaurant. I like that there is plenty of outdoor seating as well. We arrived around 5:30 so just before the dinner rush came in. The bar was already full but we were seated at a table right away. Servers are friendly and service is fast. They serve very large portions. I had the albonigas soup which is fabulous and flavorful. Couldn't even finish half so I took the rest home. Mini chimis appetizer are fluffy and crispy too. Busy location and quite a popular spot for sure.

Great place to go. We sat in the bar area Robert was our server he makes the best drinks and made sure our food order was put in promptly. I'm glad you still kept good employees he's one of the best. Thanks Robert great job. We keep coming back for his great service 🙂

The consistent quality of food is what keeps bringing me back here. Nice sized portions of Tex-Mex style food and super friendly service.

Food was great! This location and the one in downtown long beach are the best. Definitely worth the drive. Family friendly with bar with great margaritas.

Hot food came quickly. Chips and salsa where included. Yum. Portions were a good size. Service was friendly. Server was busy as she had one whole side to accommodate. She did a good job. I have no complaints. Lunch was an enjoyable experience. I would definitely go back.

walked in & was acknowledged & seated within minutes. our server Kathy was awesome honestly the best I've ever had. She was very sweet with my toddler & made her feel like a big girl 😊 I loved how she treated us and made us feel very welcomed! Kathy deserves acknowledgement from her management because of her our visit was amazing!
