Mezontle

This was my first visit and I will DEFINITELY return! It was also my first experience having a wet burrito( although I had an chimichanga) and it was soooo good! The chimichanga was enough for lunch and dinner, and the carnitas was delicious! Definitely recommend!!

I ordered to go - carne asada salsa verde wet burrito. It was so delicious. Great flavor and guacamole was perfect. You could tell the pico de gallo was fresh. Definitely a new weekly spot for me.

Came for dinner with a few coworkers. We checked it out because we wanted to try a new Mexican joint that was closer to us. The food was very delicious, it did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly, the whole environment was just fun. We will definitely be back.

Mezontle is back after being closed for too many years. You can read more about this closure on their website. But there is very good news also. The food is still just as good, the salsa still the best ever, and the service is exceptional. The newly opened restaurant is similar to the past, but much more light and open. I love to come here because I will be treated like family, have some tremendous food, and walk away happy and looking forward to my next visit.

This is a family owned place that serves excellent food for modest prices.
They battled their way through a fire that decimated the restaurant, years of trouble rebuilding through the pandemic and the loss of loved ones to Covid.
Went over for their re-opening today.
I am happy to report the service and food are even better than before.
I especially like the carnitas here. It's a little bit crispy, not soft stewed like so many other places. The tomatillo sauce and salsa are homemade, full of body and flavor.

This little place has some good food! The salsa is tasty and their Taco Tuesday deals are insane - $3 micheladas, $2 beers, $2 tacos! Great food, great prices, friendly service, we found our new Tuesday Date Night spot!

I love this restaurant for many reasons. It is very clean with great food at a reasonable price and friendly service. I try to order different things every time I come here and love them all - appetizers, tacos, burritos and fajitas, etc. Try their Taco Tuesday, their tacos, beer and margaritas are $2.

Food was really great and the staff was super friendly. We were a larger group and everything came out quickly, even during lunchtime rush.

I had the California Burrito and shared the Asada Fries, and would recommend both.

One thing to note is that they don't split checks, but this wasn't and issue since our group all uses Venmo anyways. Highly recommended.

Great little place. Good food, really nice family who runs it. Go on Tuesday for $2 tacos, margaritas and beers. The veggie tacos and meat substitute tacos are good for vegetarians; the fish tacos and shrimp tacos are quite good (especially for $2). The kids really like the carnitas and carne asada tacos (not too spicy for them).
