Collaborative Coffee Bar

My friends have been raving about this location for weeks now, so I finally decided to try it out. It’s literally HIDDEN gem since it’s a random shopping center behind a fast food place? It also says Coffee outside lol so once you get passed the outside, the inside is a gem. It’s small but super cozy and cute and the staff was super nice. I got a cappuccino and the espresso was very good. They seem to have a wide array of drinks and fun flavors if that’s your vibe. The only thing that annoyed me was that there’s a gym nearby and people kept running back and forth in front of the gym lol not necessarily the best coffee shop views, but face the plants instead.

This is one of our favorite local coffee shops. The coffee is delicious and the specialty drinks are really creative. The almond croissant and morning bun is our go-to tasty pastry. Staff is always friendly and welcoming.

A coffee bar that knows how to have fun, looks classy, modern, you name it! Order from a few cereal brand flavors that you can’t get anywhere else. This place is well hidden in Lakewood, but you will feel like you stumbled upon an oasis of coffee goodness!

This place is amazing !!!
I love coming here in the morning to get my Bagel with cream cheese and my Iced Chai Tea Latte with almond milk extra cinnamon.
It is so delicious! I dont drink chai latte's from anywhere else anymore. This is the place.
Perfect place to come and do some work before going to the office.
I just wish they had size Venti !! ;) lol

Dope spot. Recently opened up. The owner was awesome. He came up to my sister and I asked us how everything tasted and how our experience went. Little gestures like this make a huge impact. It makes you feel welcomed, highly reccomend it. The baristas were also very kind. The drinks and the atmosphere were spot on 👌🏻

I've never been to that coffee shop and when I asked for a recomendation they were right in the money! I loved the drinks! Support local especially right now! Great job you guys! Will keep coming back!

Awesome coffee shop in Paramount. Indoor & outdoor seating w/ wifi. Good low key spot to do work or have a client meeting.

I feel like having a split shot drink on menu demonstrates a certain confidence in your product that not just anywhere can deliver upon; fortunately, Collaborative does deliver.

Located in a strip mall with a stunning view of... Carl's Jr., they certainly do their best to make the shop feel comfortable to be in but perhaps not in front of. While I can't imagine using the patio between the road noise and burger smell, A for effort.

The current roast on bar comes from a roaster I haven't seen in the area before (sorry to say that I can't remember the name!) which had a delightful berry quality to it. It was good in all the drinks that I've tried over the past week, but particularly shined on its own or in the mocha.

Collaborative also sports a pretty solid espresso tonic adding a flair with some citrus, though I think the tonic used may be a bit too aggressive on the quinine for my taste.

Can't wait to come back!

This is a hidden gem in Lakewood. Their coffee is amazing and they have really tasty pastries. The shopping center is not the most attractive, but don't let that stop you. This place is a hipsters haven. they also have outdoor seating. Because it's west facing, the sun doesn't blare on you when sitting outside in the morning.

We absolutely love coming here during this pandemic . Owner is always happy and cheerful, we love to support small businesses. The coffee is amazing, perfection in everything. He is open until 3/4pm . During this time this is the only thing that has my husband & I sane. There is parking everywhere, you can order and he will even bring it to your car .

Attended the grand opening and I fell in love with the cold brew with oatmilk and vanilla. Great place for vegan options or lactose intolerant. Cant wait to stop by again, recommend if you like a good cup of coffee. They also had a hibiscus watermelon tea🤔

Really want to keep this place a secret cuz it's so great. Great selection of drinks including milk alternatives for my lactose intolerant brethren. Excellent pastries and service. Love my new local coffee shop!!

Just got the Reese’s Peanut butter cup latte and it is AMAZING! And the staff was extremely friendly. I said I was visiting from out of town and Gerry asked about where I was from and was very kind. First impression was a great one for this place!

Really good coffee 👍 I had a decaf caramel latte with oat milk. The latte was well balanced & delicious! My husband had the drip with oat milk & he really enjoyed it. Good atmosphere & helpful staff. We will be back!!

Good artisanal coffee shop cultivating a true community style coffee shop. Very friendly baristas and the owner is constantly around, truly cares about coffee. They have all kinds of wonderful coffee blends and do great lattes. Their Americano is one of the best in the area, in my opinion.

This was such a hidden gem and so so worth the drive from Whittier! I love their coffee it’s so unique and yet so simple. Who knew coffee and cereal and ent together? Genius use of oat milk to tie it all together. I will be coming back for sure

Walking into Collaborative is like walking into an old friends house. I was immediately greeted and the barista talked to me like they’ve known me for years. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and was not disappointed. Somehow they have taken a drink that is usually very one dimensional and basic and they made it exciting. The espresso really is the star of the show and it is delicately complimented by the warm homey flavor of vanilla. I invite everyone to come and experience Collaborative for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
