Kindred Hospital La Mirada

Kindred La Mirada was a blessing for me and my family. My father was sent there for continued care for rehabilitation with his respiratory needs. He needed hospital grade oxygen assistance. So he could not go home.
The staff at Kindred were sooo kind , patient and caring not only towards our father but with us as well. The nurses and doctors truly worked as a team and kept us well informed. Accommodated our requests as well as recommended the absolute best treatment and care for our father.
Our Father had a terminal condition and sadly died. But prior to his passing , the nurses on shift and doctors had so much grace over him and my family. As we were feeling so many emotions. This place was everything we prayed for. We will be forever thankful for the love and support we received during one of the most difficult times for our family. Analisa , Doctor Winn , Donato! The staff was freindly and professional. They took exceptional care of me during my four week stay at their hospital. I can be quite grumpy and demanding when I dont feel well but they made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The dietician and the kitchen somehow catered to both my dietary whims, and my unique requirements. The bed was adjustible in every way immagineable making it quite comfortable. The nurses would tell me I had the bed too high off the floor. They would ask "why do you have it so elevated? I would joke with them saying "this is the executive level" (happy face). They made me lower it every time (sad face). My room was clean and linens were changed daily. The Doctors were knowlegeable, thorough and personable. Woundcare was very good and frequent. The nurses and their assistants were outstanding! Not only were they attentive but they were warm and friendly. They went out of their way to make me feel cared for. The P/T staff was easy going and reassuring. Special thanks to patient relations! My case managers Stephanie and Kris overcame numerous roadblocks to get me placed in continued care which was NO SMALL FEAT.

Kindred La Mirada cared for my father for post covid . Kindred helped him get back to normal by great care and attention during this rough time . I'm grateful that my dad was put in this facility because everyone there was good and nice. Analiza the patient family advocate was such a great help on guiding us through everything. Moses the respiratory director was excellent with putting my dad in the best hands for his needs . Richard and Maria physical therapists were great at doing what they do. Richard is one of my dad's favorite in the facility.

We are grateful to the staff, nurses and doctors who took care of my 93 year old father who was critically ill. Everyone treated my father and our whole extended family with respect and dignity during the whole process through the very end. We are thankful we picked Kindred Hospital- La Mirada.

My uncle was a patient at this hospital 2 months ago and I would say that the service is excellent. Nurses and very friendly and caring, if there are staff who are “no-so-friendly”, we did not meet them. Meeting the doctors is one of the challenges, and I think, it goes with any other hospitals as well, but nurses at Kindred helped us connect with my uncles care providers and we greatly appreciate the efforts nurses had shown to us. I would highly recommend this hospital.

They saved my husband's life. He came in with Sepsis Pneumonia. The whole staff, from the doctors, to the nurses, to the administrative personnel did an outstanding job. They kept us informed on his progress, and took the time to explain all the procedures they were doing. Thank you, Kindred Hospital ♥

My grandmotherwas admitted to this hospital few months ago and I would say this place never disappointed us. I like the fact that conferences are held to make sure that we are updated on my grandmother’s condition. Hospital staff are very friendly, from the time that my aunt toured the facility til the day my grandmother was discharged, there’s always someone ready to answer our questions. I would 100% recommend this hospital. Keep up the good work, guys!

The staff at Kindred La Mirada are focused on the patient.They want to make a difference in the patient's progress. They are kind, compassionate and hard-working. Dr. Richard Del Rosario is an example, among the dedicated therapists, nurses, LVN's and CNA's who work at the facility.
Ms. Analiza Quedit shows the families that they are welcome and will get the help and answers that they need regarding their loved ones.

We are very pleased with the care given by the whole staff for my brother ( Ramon Apostol). My brother was well taken cared in his remaining days. There’s still the pain in our hearts reminding us the place where my brother stayed for a month but the good memories with the staff’s care and compassion outlived it!

My husband's ( Hermel Lucio S. Lingad ) second home. Very clean facility. Doctors and Nurses are excellent. Friendly staff. Dialysis Tech's are always on time. Food's good. My husband will be discharged in a few days, so from the time he was admitted to the time he will be discharged, I would give 5 stars. Thank you Kindred for taking good care of my husband. My sister was diagnosed with cancer and was transferred from the hospital to this kindred. During her stay from July of 2017, she received excellent treatment from the medical team, especially Dr. Arastu, Dr. Ros Santos, and Dr. Tzeng. Also, the nursing team (Toshimi, Alicia, Joel, Florence, Leannie, and Monita) was very tentative and gave her all the attention my sister needed, as well as outstanding care. The lab tech (Rollie) did a really good job drawing her blood when no one else could find her vein or had difficulties. Until January of 2018, the whole hospital provided the best quality and service as well as love for a patient. I would definitely recommend this hospital for anyone who needs a place with outstanding and detailed care.

Services at this hospital is excellent. The staff is very friendly and always available to help. The place is clean. I was able to talk to one of my mom’s doctors when I visited him for the first time after being away from him for 2 months. I am satisfied with how my mom progressed at Kindred La Mirada.

Now here is a good place to heal,Nurses are kind and caring and attentive, I have not had one issue with the care they provide,my Dad is clean and comfortable,no Hospital order, and they keep me up to date.Thank You,from the heart.

I was admitted here five years ago from a car accident. I was in coma when I came in and woke up here after few weeks. No, I didn't see any bed sores; nurses and staff took care of me! Therapists; speech, physical and occupational are exellent! Highly recommended! Two thumbs up!

The staff was excellent. Food sucked, though. But, name a hospital where the food is good.
