Back To Function has been absolutely great for my family and I. All the doctors are wonderful. I have been going there for several years now for simple adjustments to complete rehabs from broken bones or other injuries.
The staff really cares about you and your well being. If you are ever in need of a great Chiropractor or soft tissue expert please give them a shot. They also do sports training and dietary plans.

My son (hockey player) and myself (runner and active individual) have worked with Back to Function more than 7 years for many different types of injuries. From Separated Shoulders to rolled ankles and many others. They were the best at helping us get "Back to Function"

I drive up from Orange County, and anytime I know someone with an injury I suggest they go to "Back to Function" Today I was looking up address to pass along to a friend, and saw google review and decided to take the time to share on google my experiences.

If you are looking for treatment for any bodily pain, to improve your fitness & nutrition levels or both, this is the place to be. I've been a patient since 2006 and my fitness levels and overall health have improved by leaps & bounds.

I was 35 at the time and I played ice hockey and softball but I would be achy and out of shape. Enter Back to Function and Dr. Chad Moreau got the pieces together so that I was pain free and a lot stronger. I'm 43 now and I feel a lot better than I was back then.

Feel free to message me with any questions, I can't recommend him enough!

Every aspect of Back to Function gets 5 stars from me! From the brilliant staff, to the availability, flexibility, quality of care, invested practitioners, professionalism, individual targeted care to the effective treatments - I have experienced the best model for getting folks "Back to Function". Dr. Chad, Dr, Erica, Dr. Arthur, Dr. Rebecca and jack of all trades Mary are top notch! Any one of the doctors can step in and take over where the other left off if need be - that type of consistency is priceless.

I had debilitating back issues for over a year, saw all the specialists, orthopedics, chiropractors, pain specialists, osteopaths, massage therapists, etc - no one could figure out the problem. One visit with Dr. Chad, and voila - a diagnosis that matches the symptoms. He is a master diagnostician and rehabilitator. Moreover, he discovered all my subtle underlying muscle and structural imbalances that contributed to the problem in the first place. He crafted a treatment plan that had me pain free in no time and tackled the issue of bringing my whole body back in to stability and balance.

I am forever grateful for Back to Function and continue to make the drive to both locations despite driving by several dozen options on my way, I only refer to Back to Function and everyone I've referred to is as grateful, satisfied and healthy as me! I only want what's best for my body - and I found it at Back to Function!

As a life-long runner, weight lifter, skier, and tennis player, I have suffered my share of injuries and age-related pain over the years. Fortunately, I have been a patient at the well-known Torrance chiropractic clinic, Back to Function, whenever an injury has occurred (tennis elbow, acute back and neck pain, torn rotator cuff, etc.), where I have received first-rate care and rehabilitation therapy.

As I have aged, the discs between the vertebrae in my spine have started to shrink, like most everyone, placing more pressure on the nerves in my spine. While not everyone with my degeneration will develop symptoms, that increased stress meant dull, aching pain on a chronic basis for me, at the beginning and end of each day. And, depending on the extent of disc degeneration and the strain, that pain could turn from dull and achy, to sharp, shooting, and burning whenever a disc would tear or become herniated (as verified by an MRI). Sometimes that injury seemed to propagate to the upper back or neck, as well. While my orthopedic surgeons were usually recommending spinal surgery following these flare ups or when I experienced chronic pain of the sort associated with severe lower-back arthritis, I consistently decided to try the chiropractic approach before pursuing the more risky surgical approach! After a brief series of treatments at Back to Function, I always experience rapid recovery, often after only two or three treatments.

A few years ago when I suffered from tennis elbow due to overuse of the muscles and tendons of the forearm, I was successfully treated at Back to Function, saving me the expense, pain, and long recovery (often more than four months) associated with the common orthopedic surgical procedure, lateral epicondyle release. All of the treatments at Back to Function were accompanied by stretching and strengthening exercises, whose purpose was to reduce the likelihood of re-injury. The chiropractic doctors at this office have as their goal patient self care whose purpose is to minimize the need to return to their office, speeding recovery and saving the patient both time and money. (I have never experienced another episode of tennis elbow!)

Most recently, MRI imaging of my right shoulder showed (80%) tears in two of my rotator cuffs, the supraspinatus and subscapularis muscles. Again, I chose the therapy route in favor of orthopedic surgery and a prolonged recovery. After several months of rest, regular chiropractic treatments, and an exercise program suggested by Back to Function, I was able to resume my tennis matches with the Pro at my tennis club. The absence of pain both during and after my tennis match seems quite remarkable to me.

Without reservation, I can recommend Back to Function Chiropractic for all initial treatment of injury and health problems that affect the nerves, muscles, bones and joints of the human body.

Dr. Ashley is amazing! When acupuncture didn't work, I turned to Dr. Ashley for my meniscus sprain. It's helped tremendously.
