You just can't go wrong with Torrance Bakery. Always fresh, good, and tasty. Hands-down they offer some of the best baked goods in LA COUNTY top 3 for sure. They have been doing this since 1984, the Olympics were in L.A. then, it was a good year😏 and this bakery has been rock'n it every since then. The triple chocolate fudge cake 😋🔥 I got one to celebrate my wife's birthday. Lastly, some of the best sandwiches & cookies in town too. This place never disappoints.

The quintessential neighborhood spot for sweet treats, birthday cakes, and wedding cakes. Their donuts are on par (or better) with any other donut shop in the neighborhood, and the shortbread cookies are sure to make any small child or adult smile. There’s an incredible assortment of freshly baked cookies daily, including, but not limited to, chocolate chip, peanut butter, divine, and chewy fudge. All cakes are decorated with an expert hand, and the staff and management aim to please. It’s not uncommon to see a line out the door, but there may be seven or eight people inside working to help everyone so the line goes fast. You can also pick up a freshly brewed cuppa coffee or iced mocha inside as well. A few doors down is also the Torrance Café, part of the bakery, and they make an array of delicious sandwiches for about $10. They offer several different varieties of bread for the sandwiches, and there are also freshly made salads although they will run out sometimes. The café is open every day, except for Sunday, with the exception being every fourth Sunday of the month when the Torrance antique Street Faire is held.

I usually come for the donuts but this time I got a chocolate mousse pie (or something similar) and couple of donuts and a chocolate chip cookie!
All so good.. I have a sweet tooth so I’m always looking for something new to try! They also have coffee (hot & iced) and big cakes too!!
Definitely check this spot out if you’re in the area. Parking is fine during the weekdays but over the weekends it does get crowded!

Torrance Bakery, located in Old Torrance, is a South Bay staple. They always have delicious cakes and cookies. I love the themed cookies they have to go with the time of year. In March they have rainbow cookies and the pot at the end of the rainbow. We’ve bought many birthday cakes and cookies here. Sometimes there is a line, but it goes very quickly. They have many employees working there to help you. There is free street parking out front. The street looks like a throwback to the 1950s. This is our go to spot for delicious cakes and cookies.

My wife found this gem not too long ago. And I am so angry that WE HAVE NOT TRIED THIS PLACE BEFORE!!!!!!! Not only their cupcakes are so adorable and delicious but also their sandwiches are AMAZING!!! I definitely recommend the sandwich called “Stephanie” (one of photos I uploaded). Perfect combination of everything inside and perfectly grilled bread!

Apparently the place is about to be 40 years old in 2024. So obviously the place is pretty crowded and hard to get a table. But be patient and you can find one! This one family who took the table that we left circled the block 10 times! Oh btw, outside seating is so pretty and comfy. It’s also very quiet even when the place is super busy!

Workers there are incredibly friendly. Almost family-like! This one guy who was going back and forth of kitchen and curbside delivery was not hesitant to play with my 3 year old son to make his day :)

Torrance Bakery will be doing our wedding cake in November so I’ll update this review at that time, but the cake tasting appointment with Maddy was awesome. It was efficient, informative, and seamless. The cakes are all delicious! And you can also try special flavors if you let them know in advance.

There was a line out the door of the bakery which is well deserved! We got cookies from the bakery and they were to die for. My favorite are the flourless cookies! Special thanks to Kirk for making us feel so so welcome!

It’s been years since I’ve been back. I love ❤ all their pastries. I was craving for a slice of the carrot 🥕 cake that’s amazingly good 👍. It still has the same yummy taste. I also tried the gourmet strawberry 🍓 cupcake 🧁 it was super tasty 😋. Totally recommend this bakery. Everything is fresh. Friendly staff & clean location❣

Wow an amazing bakery i never knew existed. I have been to the tea house near by but never realized this place existed. Its always packed with customers and the pastries are really good and the birthday cakes look great.

Absolutely amazing pastries, I only had the opportunity to have their non refrigerated baked goods and I was extremely impressed with their cookies and specially their Brookiea, they are the perfect combination of sweet and soft browny texture. I also tried some of their other cookies and I will definitely come back, their selection looked amazing.

I've gotten cakes from here before, as fare back as 2016 my wedding cake which was beautiful and each year after my anniversary cake. Fresh strawberries, butter cream icing, very good they never have disappointed me! My place for life!

Second time coming here when venturing to California; it was a staple for my husband's family when they lived here. Everything is super tasty and visually appealing to the eye. They must've thought me crazy by how much I selected, but the gal helping us was super bubbly and helpful. So many choices, it's hard to choose just one thing. The danishes are great, as well as the chocolate walnut cookies!

They understood the assignment. Taste like they got a kitchen full of grannies there in the back. I can honestly say I haven’t come across a better bakery or even donut shop that tops this place. Texture, Taste, Temperament!! So so Good!

Come Early Baked Daily

Great local bakery that has delicious sweets and next door a Cafe for lunch. Great decorated cookies. Especially fun during election years because they put the candidate's faces on cookies which then gives you an idea how this neighborhood is voting. 😀

We came here because we needed to wait for an appointment at the tire shop.
The sandwich counter does not sell coffee.
The restroom was clean enough but there were some inconsiderate users this morning; yellow sprinkles on the toilet seat, enough said.

The patio seating looks very inviting but it’s so popular that all seats weee taken on this Monday morning in June 2023

I really enjoyed the cinnamon roll! So, many things to choose from. The cake, and donuts are good as well.

Lovely bakery shop in Old town Torrance. Their new custom cake showroom is nice and classy. They get very creative during holiday seasons. They do offer cocoa and cinnamon powders among the coffee condiments which is cool to spice up your coffee.

Top baked goods and service. Rather It be the torrance or gardena location. The Carrot cake muffins are the best. Bran muffins are incredible as well.
