Riviera Health Spa

I love it here. I've never had any issues. Everything has been clean and operational for the most part. This visit the Himalayan salt room was closed which was disappointing but it's understandable. I've been to Wispa and I wish I could mix Wispa's 2nd floor with Riviera's 1st floor.
I've yet to get any of the treatments, so I can't comment on those.

If you frequent korean spas, you know Riviera Health Spa is a very good example of one. It's two stories with a gender specific downstairs where the pools, dry sauna, steam room and locker room are located. Upstairs is "co-ed" as in all genders and family friendly. Located on the second floor are the special saunas, work out room (treadmill), computer room, restaurant... What's notable about the upstairs is that it has an area with a heated floor. They provide mats so you can spend time there stretching, napping, or general relaxing. Free wifi and air-conditioning make it a good place to hang out on a very hot day in the South Bay.

Must try- korean scrub. I like scrubs in general, especially the "table baths," but the Korean scrub is amazing. I've never felt cleaner in my life. I like to get one, especially at the end of summer, to get all the "wet skin" spf off my body. It's almost alarming but satisfying to see all the rolly pollies of dead skin rinsed off. They'll also wash your hair and give you a massage during the same treatment. They do not use fancy products, but its still nice enough.

Update 11-4-2023: It's still good. It opens at 9am. I got there about 10:30. When I walked in, I booked a body care massage downstairs in the wet area. I had just enough time to wash up before the massage, sit in the steam room, sit in hot tub, and the warm tub. I prefer to wear the oil out ad not wash it off. Its really good for your skin. The body care included an all over body massage with warm oils. They gave me a facial mask, massaged my scalp and washed my hair. It's so decadent to have someone else wash your hair! Afterward, I got dressed to go upstairs.
The restaurant is open now 6 days. Their cafe is still dark, but the restaurant serves coffee, tea, juice, smoothies, and slushies. They have a good menu with a mix of Korean and cooked Japanese dishes. Today, I had their teriyaki salmon bowl with a mango & banana smoothie. It hit the spot.

I've never been to this kind of spa, I absolutely loved the clay sauna and cold room. And my Swedish massage was hands down one of the best I've had. I highly recommend it.

One and only affordable and value place in South Bay. Two floors set up with downstairs for bathing areas and upstairs for salt, mud, ice rooms. There is a cafeteria upstairs with good food options. Downstairs has steam room, jacuzzi pool, hot bathing pool and cold plunge.

Super clean, everything you’d want in a Korean spa. If you’ve never been, it’s worth watching a video on spa etiquette so you know what to expect. Not all the attendants enforcing the rules speak english and if you don’t know about protocol that can be confusing. I fet day passed here regularly!

Clean, large pools, good size steam room and sauna. Massage service. Shower and dressing area is roomy and clean. Nice menu on food kitchen. Great place for relaxing.

Can i just say WONDERFUL! Clean facility, I love all the Different Saunas. Even the Showers are A+. Its like experiencing a little slice of Heaven when you're on the table. I always get the Full body Combo (Scrub & Massage) and I leave feeling Brand New. Now if you have never been to a place like this, you must understand one thing, you're fully nude walking around there in the womens spa area on the 1st floor. It was shocking for me the first time i went, but the experience was so great, i didn't hesitate to go back. I PROMISE you will NOT regret going to Riviera Health Spa. 💜🧘🏾‍♀💆🏾‍♀🧖🏾‍♀

My friends and I love going here to refresh and re-charge. The food was so great I didn't elven get a picture before wolfing it down!

Favorite K Spa! I have been to several in the LA area (Wi Spa, Spa Palace), but this is my all time favorite!

The facility is exceptionally clean and they add herbs to the steam and other rooms which gives it a more luxurious and relaxing feel.

The food is also great, especially compared to other K Spas. My family loved it and we hope to go back soon!

I would honestly rather keep this place a secret, selfishly lol but if everyone had an opportunity to spend some time here we’d all be happier people. This place is an absolute wellness haven. It’s super clean, so much to offer and a total mind, body, soul reset. The price is super reasonable and the benefits are many. The massages have been amazing. Next to try is the salt scrub. I’m so grateful I was introduced to this place. I leave feeling like a new woman…🙏🏼

Riviera health spa is a nice and lovely escape from everyday life and it’s stresses. It’s not so traditional that a non Korean person feels out of place, while staying paying respects to tradition of a bath house. It’s many relaxing sauna rooms are nice to explore. We also got massages, which were very deep and relaxing. The segregates woman -man areas are nice to lounge in and try hot/ cold dip pools in the nude while the co-ed areas are perfect to read a book or take a nap together. Unfortunately their kitchen was closed on Tuesday when we went but I heard great things about the food too.

This spa does an excellent job. The facility is very nice, with a locker room equipped with most of what you need for drying your hair, or styling after your spa. No bathing suits or shorts allowed in the shower/hot tub/sauna area. Not so much relaxing as therapeutic, the honey body scrub took a few layers off my skin. Great way to start the new year. There are other relaxing massages available if that is what you’re looking for. i didn’t visit the other floors this trip, but the spa rooms are amazing. I want to go again and enjoy the restaurant on site. Well worth a visit.

I love this place. I drive over an hour to enjoy this spa. I love it so much I decided to bring my husband. I highly recommend, although I would like to gate-keep to continue to enjoy this luxury alone. Definitely indulge in the massage packages and enjoy all it has to offer. Thank you!

This Korean health spa is my haven, my home away from home, my happy place. I literally spend hours here. I bounce around from sauna, to cold room, to Himalayan salt room, to hot tub, cold tub, steam room, etc. Sometimes I’ll get a scrub and massage too… which are FANTASTIC! There’s also a restaurant here for when I get hungry. The place itself can use a bit of a face lift, but other than that, I highly recommend this place. Especially for when you want to have some quality time with yourself. I always come out glowing! My face looks so young too.. almost like I go backwards in time! Wink wink.

This place is glorious! I always get the scrub/massage combo and it’s so wonderful! For $110 you get scrubbed and massages, face mask, hair wash, access to the hot tubs the various saunas, the fitness room, the cafe upstairs and the steam room. It’s just so great! I always leave feeling soft as a babies bottom and sooo relaxed!

Perfect for a mini-day vacation. I did the Honey & Milk Full Body Combo. It was my first time but it was great! Michelle was the best! I know I can't ask same person to do the service but she was quite well. I definitely come back!

Fantastic experience! We had a basic scrub & massage (women’s) for $95 - completely worth it!! Excellent staff & spa amenities also lovely & clean. Very good food at restaurant inside spa, including shaved ice! Try this place - it is such a treat!

This was my first visit & I totally enjoyed every hour I spent there! My services included the body scrub & deep tissue massage. A big "thank you" to the ladies that serviced me! I used as many of the spas offerings as I could fit in, (the saunas & healing rooms)☺. My lunch was delicious 😋. As far as the overall facility, every area was super clean, & beautiful👍🏼. Very friendly environment. When you go to the spa, (notice I did not say if you go ☺), plan to go early & just relax & enjoy. Be good to yourself, "you" deserve it! I'm signing up for multiple visits because, "I deserve it"! 🤗
