California Crane School

This school is amazing and was a great way to get a refresher prior to taking the NCCCO exam/practical tests.

The instructors for the in class were very thorough. Sam and Carlson teach in a way that practically any student can learn regardless of personality and background.

For the practical examination, the instructors Rafael and Zach were very easy going. I paid for the 1 hour practice and it helped. Both instructors assisted and gave me pointers. They were so helpful that I didn’t even know that I was taking my exam because they were just so easy to talk to. It wasn’t until I completed 2 of the 3 tasks that I asked when I would be taking the actual test when I was informed that I was already in the middle of it haha. Great experience, amazing set of instructors, would highly recommend this school.

I had never been near a crane before this course. The first couple hours in this class and I was completely overwhelmed, but towards the end of the first day, and definitely on the second day, I was completely in the loop. The instructors, Sam and Carson, did a great job getting through a huge amount of material in a couple days and got me to really understand what was going on. After the written tests, we moved to physical training. The instructors did a great job explaining how the cranes and their movements worked, and after that they let us operate the cranes on our own and figure them out a bit for ourselves, that is my preferred way to learn something like this. They came around and gave us help and tips when we asked or when it looked like we needed it. I don’t know my results yet but I am confident that I passed every test, mostly thanks to Sam and Carson, and Zack and the other guy at the yard (Raffa might have been his name)

Rafael and Zack did an amazing job helping me train with a lot of knowledge with the crane. I don’t want to forget some the trainer you are awesome brother I don’t want to forget sam the trainer you did amazing brother .. Thank you guys

Was an excellent course with a host of knowledge. Practical grounds were fun and the proctors were delightful and thoughtful, providing water and Gatorade.

All guys were very helpful and made school very enjoyable, made the classroom experience as enjoyable as being in a classroom goes. All guys were attentive to all guys in and off the field, special thanks to Sam, Carson, Zack, and rafa.

I went to ACS's 3:day in Ontario. The classes were ran by Sam and Cameron, or rather Batman and Robin! The information, and the way they taught it with clarity in a fun and practical way was extremely helpful. They gave extra time to those struggling and ensured us all that we are all on the same page. Getting to the yard Zack is one of the most humble and helpful examiners , not to mention he rips on the crane, and for someone so young I was impressed. He and Fontae helped me tremendously as I had never operated on those type Cranes. Raphael helped a woman from my school and she said it was first class. I am confident that if you go through ACS you are making the right choice. My only regret is not doing the 5 day course, thank you guys for everything. My brother is heading your way soon.

Good course, instructors were very courteous and professional. Course was well managed. Would definitely recommend for beginners and experienced operators.

I came here in June and did not pass but I came back and did the practice with Rafa and zack and they were extremely helpful and I enjoyed testing with you guys. Thank you

The class instructor and the yard crane operators exceeded my expectations. They were very knowledgeable both in the classroom and on the yard. The class instructor as well as the crane instructors were encouraging, patient and professional. They made the whole three day course super easy. I definitely recommend this course for anyone looking to certify as a crane operator. Thank you guys.

California crane school haves the best instructor in California the explain step by step thru all the process and I just want to said thanks again for the help and all the information.

Sam, Ronnie, Rafael and the others ( sorry bad at remembering names). Where awesome, very insightful and great at teaching to make me understand how to operate the fix and swing cab cranes, and prepare me for the written and practical tests.

Amazing training on my fixed and swing cab crane training. Sam, Raphael, and Robbie took care of me and all the other guys in my group and we had a good time training and learned a ton. Highly recommend these guys.

Class Instructors was GREAT! Shout out to the dude from Oakland for all the help in the 1 hour training session. Passed the practical with ease

Class was awesome instructor was very detailed and on point, made me feel 100% I was going to pass which I did definitely worth the money and time, only wish they could help with job placement
