La Mirada Creek Park

Place is perfect for jogging.
Better when it rains, cause all the streams are thick. Safe.

What can we say about this park????..beautifully green, a vibrant green, super clean and 100% for walking, warm and fresh atmosphere, beautiful for photo sessions.

A great public green-space for a local neighborhood park, as well as a nice stopover respite!
After sitting in hours of traffic, I’ll have the piece of mind to turn off the engine and just relax. In addition, a quick workout here helps to ease the stress of an urban to suburban commute!
Here’s a place that’s also fun to take the kids, family, friends and business associates for a picnic lunch, walk in the park and to stop for pictures!
Paved walkways straddle a creek that flows thru the middle of the park. A shaded dirt trail goes along the upper south side above where the restrooms are. The greenery scenery provides a natural looking landscape to go with, for a pleasing visual effect. There’s even a mountain view from the high side!
Because much of the park lies down in a groove below the level of the residences, there’s a sense of separation with solitude.
There’s stables and a horse riding trail along a portion of the park, tho dog walking seemed to be all throughout the park.
The park is well maintained with benches, dog bag supply’s, trash containers and tip-top landscaping.
There’s parking lot’s at both ends, and a restroom structure, about half-way thru the park.

Been my local park since the late '80s I come here to exercise hang out enjoy the weather walk my weiner dog this place is always clean it's in a good neighborhood overall just a really good park to do your thing at

I really enjoy talking long walks here. Its a 6min walking distance from my house and it's nice, clean park, they do landscaping often I really like that! I also like that the have a trail I can walk on that's one of my favorite things at this park the second is the creek that run thru the middle, love the sound of the water running thru.

The La Mirada Creek Park is really a nice place to go for a walk on opposite sides of the stream and get some fresh air. Even my grandma loved to take a stroll here sometimes.

Long and narrow with a creek running through the middle of it. The park is very green with many trees. There are a number of bridges that criss cross the creek over the entire length of the park. There is also a small amphitheater seating area surrounding a fire pit. Along the length are some horse properties giving the impression of being out of the city. A very nice place to stretch your legs or listen to music during the La Mirada Stroll In The Park.

Just past the equestrian area and homes, the park continues. Just follow the horse trail.

La Mirada Creek Park is great for walking and running. Some people ride their bikes on the foot path, but this is frowned upon. There are also plenty of grass areas to have a picnic. There's no fee to enter the park. It's really a great place for exercise and an interesting place to bring pets. Gates to the two parking lots close at 8 pm!

La Mirada Creek Park is a centrally located, peaceful escape. This greenway is a great place to stroll to the sounds of roosters crowing horses trotting. It is very popular with dog walkers and joggers alike. The bridges scattered throughout give it a special feel. A great place!

This park is so beautiful and relaxing. Great place to have a meal or walk the dogs. Bathrooms available and clean! No playground tho.

Great place to walk. The park offérs a great walking path within the park that can extend beyond the Santa Gertrudes side to under Imperial for an even longer trek. Nice place to walk your dogs everyone is conscious about cleaning up after their pets.

Beautiful, spacious, peaceful and clean park! My family and I come here often for walks and/or picnics. This park is very well kept located within a residential area. There is no playground here BUT the park is so large my kids have no problem just running through the hills. Excellent family park!

It's a nice little walking parking with inclines and stairs. Good for sitting on a bench and people/pup watching. There is a boot camp on some days and people doing yoga in the shady grass areas. There is a bathroom, it's okay as far as public restrooms go. And there are drinking fountains, although I've never tried them. People also use this park for photo shoots.
