IT WAS SO GOOD!!! The waiter was incredibly friendly and kind, the food was the best I've had for a long time. Great hole in the wall place to eat.

Very affordable place with reasonable wait times. Mostly takeout but I decided to dine in since I had some time.

I enjoyed their salmon bento, which included miso soup, salad, tempura, and cali roll for $16. All in all decent experience.

I do like everything here- good service my favorite is the Pink Lady always a must for me... have brought my family here and they said it is one of the best places.. other I'd the crunch and Caterpillar I like the spicy tuna the Miso is tasty

Our bento boxes were not only very tasty but also very beautiful to behold! There was plenty of tempura, including a large shrimp, plus California rolls. The teriyaki chicken and salmon was tasty and plentiful. Our host was extremely kind, friendly and speedy. It was a cold & rainy day so as soon as we sat down he brought us miso soup (no charge). Such a nice surprise! We're definitely returning!

Local spot. The man who serves us is always nice and friendly. The food is great. I haven't had any bad experiences here with the food or service. Because of that, I keep returning. I highly recommend it. Try it.

I've been to all the sushi shops in La Mirada, La Habra, and Fullerton. This one is my favorite. Their prices are perfect, their fish tastes fresh, and they are extremely nice. The portions are generous and the combos are an excellent deal. My family who doesn't like raw fish very much really enjoyed this place. My wife has been craving them since she's pregnant; no only sushi will suit her.

Really good food, Sushi is good, miso soup has lots of flavor, Udon is a staple and the Tempura is always tasty. Chef is nice and personable and everything is prepared to order. Dining is nice sometimes but most of the time we take it to go.

We've loved this place for many years now! Owners are super friendly, food is fresh and made to order, prices are reasonable. Not fancy, but always nice and clean. Our Family favorite!

I'm new to the area and was looking for somewhere that sold pretty good sushi. it's walking distance from me and the taste of the food is so fresh! the customer service is amazing, I was greeted as soon as I walked in and didn't get treated as if I shouldn't be eating there. wonderful, wonderful place, I will be back!!

Such a great hole in the wall restaurant for that quick teriyaki fix. I always devour a spicy chicken bowl plus any of their baked rolls which I always switch up because all of them are so good. Hopefully they get through covid making dine in impossible so I can go back to eating my meals inside their store!

Since discovering Midori 5 many years ago, I have ordered food for take out once a month or so. It is almost always the owners that take my order, and they always greet me when I walk in, and are very friendly. The food is excellent and consistent. I have never had a bad experience. Although they do not deliver, you can call them about 10 minutes before you arrive and your order will be ready (or nearly ready) when you arrive. My favorite item is the Spicy Pork Bento (which includes the spicy pork on white rice, half a California roll, 2 vegetable and 1 shrimp tempura, a small cabbage based salad, and a small miso soup) (the soup is only included if dining in, but you can order it extra for takeout orders).

Sushi was very good, inexpensive, & handmade; the Asian man serving and taking orders was very polite and kind, & he gave me a free refill on hot tea; has mochi ice-cream for around $2 and some other desserts & entrees (fried banana, etc.)

The sushi is very fresh and the green tea is delicious.

Midori 5 has good fast casual Japanese food with low prices for the area. The owners of this family owned business are very nice and work hard to provide good service. Some of my favorites are teriyaki chicken, katsu curry and baked salmon roll.

Nothing will ever compare to the sushi located here. Everything on the menu has an explosion of flavor and the owners are some of the nicest people on the planet. If you love sushi come here you will not regret it.
