Looked up the salon and saw great reviews about Cho-hee and they were right! She offered me a Texture Clinic using Seshido products ( I love Seshido) and I won’t have to worry about blowdrying my hair for the next 6 months ! In addition I asked For a caramel Baylage and voila ! She delivered ! All of that at our appointment. I’m super happy with my hair and so is my husband 😉😍 excited to come back for a touch up!

The best hair salon in the Southbay. Chohee is the owner and she is so skilled, I appreciate her so much. Chohee works efficiently, accurately, and very skillfully that this busy working mom of three really appreciates it. She’s quick to read my hair needs and knows exactly how to cut my hair in a clean, stylish, fashionable way. Her support staff are all also very polite and professional so coming to Ziva is always a wonderful experience. The best part is I know Ziva is very reliable and dependable. I’ve been coming here for years and I know Chohee will always be there consistently delivering the excellent service she always provides. All at a very very reasonable cost as well. I have very dark typical Asian hair that does not always respond well to hair coloring - Chohee & her sidekicks at Ziva always know exactly the shades I’m trying to achieve and are able to do it in a way that still promotes healthy hair. I appreciate that the colors stay without making my hair dry and brittle & the depth of colors without fading into brassiness is a major feat! Also, I don’t know how it is possible but they color my hair in a way that it blends with my natural hair color as it grows out (and my hair grows fast) so I don’t have to run back in every 3-4 months. This time around they were able to achieve ashy blonde highlights to camouflage & blend in better with my ever multiplying grays as they propagate back in with time. I only trust Chohee at this point with my hair & travel from out of state (because it IS that hard to find someone who knows exactly how to work with your hair). Highly recommend for belayage, color correction, gray touch-ups, hair cuts, etc etc.

I get my haircut only with Chohee. She has her own style and cuts like an artist. I love how she layers my thick hair. She is very detail oriented and talented. I am happy to pay a little extra for great haircut. I appreciate that she is not putting any products during blow dry. Hair is natural and easy to care for. Thank you Chohee ❤

Chohee is one of the most skilled hair stylists I've ever had. I've had balayage/highlights done for over 10 years now and never found a stylist who can give me the dimensions or colors like I envisioned until I found her. Chohee is honest and told me some of the things I wanted are not realistic, or would take multiple sessions, which I appreciated her telling me upfront. She was able to bring my multi-colored dimensional hair to life! Another plus is the bleached parts grew out really well without having a harsh boundary. She's really good at cutting hair too. The only thing I can see ppl getting bothered by is she will have at least one other client at the same time. Honestly, her assistants are really good and I don't feel I have to have her do the tedious foil work or sit around waiting. I'll be going back to her for the foreseeable future.

If you are looking for a solution to frizzy and dull hair, get the texture clinic with Chohee. I have tried the Yuko straightening, Brazilian blowout, and keratin treatments without success. But the Texture Clinic is amazing…….sleek, shiny, and healthiest hair ever! You will LOVE the results.

1st time here, referred by a friend, I needed something spur of the moment, and I am so happy I came. I wanted to know pricing and availability and they requested I come in for a consultation first. I did and spoke to Cho Hee. I haven't had my hair done in 6 months and by now it was very long and damaged. Cho Hee took EXCELLENT care of me, squeezed me in 1st thing in the morning, and pampered me the whole time. She is very kind, caring, and efficient. I was impressed watching her and her staff handle all their clients. Each client had 2 or 3 staff members working on them along each step of the way. This salon is very clean and professional. I'm very pleased with the end result as well after showing Cho Hee pictures of the cut and color I would like. I'm looking forward to going back. Cho Hee did an amazing job with my hair! I always have hesitation going somewhere new but I’m so glad I did. I got a full highlight and my hair has not looked this refreshed and bright in years. Highly recommend going here!

Chohee is an amazing colorist. I went to supercuts to try and save on a new color job - money piece and highlights. It came out so coppery and unnatural that I was forced to wear a beanie for several days to cover it up. Chohee was able to correct the color. Now my hair is fabulous and show-off worthy! Blessed be Chohee and her assistant!

My appointment was right before the recent lockdown and the owner reached out to me directly through text to reassure me that she would be able to do my hair. She's the absolute sweetest, most genuine salon owner I've ever come across-I felt welcome and comfortable right away. She was so quick and delicate with her scissors and I was thrilled with the results. I've had about 4inches of dead hair weighing me down since I moved to CA from out of state a year ago that were chopped off into the cutest bob. I will absolutely be visiting again!!!!!

This salon has never failed me when it came to my hair. About around 2 months ago I visited this salon to get my hair rebleached after 4 months of having my hair uneven with very yellow hair since the previous salon I visited had messed up my hair. I decided to go light blonde so I decided to come to Ziva. Ester and one of the other hairdressers were highly consistent of making sure my hair turned out the way I wanted it to be! Then two days ago, I decided to go back for another hair appointment but this time it was for a perm + trim. I was lucky enough to book my appointment the same day with Sarah. She’s very kind. I was told with my hair still having bleached parts it would not be recommended to get a perm due to the amount of chemicals that were already on my hair running the risk of it not fully forming. I decided to take the risk and I was highly surprised my hair did not fall off and the curls remained! After many times of using developer and other hair dyes throughout the past 2 months, my hair was still going strong! I love how my hair went from being a dyed medium brown to a lighter shade of brown after the perm. The last time I had my hair permed was about around August-September of 2020 at this same hair salon. I knew I was able to depend on them to make me satisfied with my hair!

This place is my new go to. I got a straight perm about 5 months ago here and my hair turned out great considering I had highlights and my hair wasn't in the best condition. I have curly frizzy hair and they made it look so nice. They also give amazing haircuts and dye hair really well. My sister goes to them too. She went from having black hair to blonde hair and her hair isn't really damaged or anything. They did a great job! I highly recommend 👍

I've gone to Ziva for over 3 years now, and I always get an appointment with Sarah. I have very thin hair and she always gives me advice in how to cut and style my hair to get more volume and a thicker look. I highly recommend!

I got a haircut and texture clinic from ChoHee! I don't have the photos right now but will update it soon when I do, it's truly amazing to see how silky, soft, and full of volume it is now. I used to have (for my entire twenty-something years) very dry and frizzy hair so it's almost touching to feel the silkiness that's coating my entire hair. (ChoHee applied treatment and ironed EVERY LITTLE PIECE OF MY LAYERED HAIR, so now I feel like a barbie doll that has cute straightened hair but also miraculously with great volume. As you know, those two usually don't come together lol) Also Chohee took her time to explain the difference between regular straightening, keratin treatment, and texture clinic when I asked. I could tell She put lots of effort and the price was fair too. I'm honestly so glad that I got texture clinic today because it didn't only straighten your hair, but also kept good volume so my new hush cut looks so light-hearted and volumey❤ Thanks again Chohee, I will definitely go back in the future!

Liz did an amazing job cutting my long hair! It was my first time at this hair salon and I had a great time. Sweet people! I had split ends and Liz managed to cut those off while leaving my hair at a great length. I love my haircut! So soft and silky ✨

Chohee is absolutely amazing! I came in with a picture of how I wanted my hair to be and she told me to come in the next day, a hour before the salon opens, to start working on my hair because that’s how awesome she is! She spent a lot of time and did every part of my hair in perfect detail knowing exactly how I would want it. My hair came out better than the picture I originally showed her. I definitely recommend this salon. Super friendly and profession and the price is very reasonable.
