Rodeway Inn & Suites Pacific Coast Highway

As a diamond member with Choice Hotels, I've had/still having a very pleasant stay here. The manager Medallia is extremely friendly, nice & accommodating. He's made sure to keep me on the bottom floor for my disabled mother since there is no elevator. Cleanliness/NO bugs are a major thing for me when looking for a hotel, and this has not disappointed in that area as the cleaning staff is on it and very nice as well. Manager is always encouraging room service daily even through my long extended stay. Of course, as some people have mentioned, it's a little outdated but not enough that it's an issue whatsoever. If you're looking for something fancy, look elsewhere. No gym or many amenities. Just simple but with all the necessities. They take cash OR cards, which is great for me as most hotels require only card. No extra charge if you're parking a vehicle (can be parked anywhere in the lot). No gated parking, but rooms are in view of the lot. Cameras all over, which is a must. The rooms come with an A/C unit, which has been working great during these hot days lately and coming up! Also has a medium-sized fridge, microwave, and TV. For coffee lovers, there is no coffee maker or coffee provided. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I don't mind this, but there is a Starbucks right on the corner (about a 3 minute walk) and so many other food places just walking distance. It is on a busy street, so be mindful if that's something that bothers you. With the price point, you can't go wrong. Great for short stays, and even extended temporary stays as I have been here going on 2 weeks now. No complaints thus far.

Owner/manager is AWESOME!! His staff are also AWESOME. He was very accommodating to me and my son's needs of an early check-in, he was quick and efficient throughout the check-in process. He made us feel welcome and comfortable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL! I am a Choice Diamond member, I've stayed at Choice Properties 161 days YTD . This motel is definitely one of the Best, I've seen, and the customer service offered to me and my son is 5 Star!! THANK YOU FOR CARING FOR US AND MAKING US FEEL AT HOME!

One of the most decent hotels by far at a fair rate since I've been in the LA area. The first night we checked in we stayed upstairs but with my kids, the management knew it was going to be a little difficult for me so he assured me that by morning I would be switched to the bottom floor and he did fulfill that. We stayed a week at a decent deal and I more than appreciate the management more than ever. Rooms are cleaned on the daily and everything is super close as far as eat out places and freeways. Me and my family came out here starting new jobs and this place has been more the comfortable. Fridge and microwave in the rooms are super convenient! And beds are super comfy 👍🏼👍🏼. I would recommend!!!

The Hotel at Rodeway Inn is clean, rooms are nicely done. The beds are very comfortable to sleep on. The management is very nice and knows how to run a hotel with Integrity. The location is very close to both LAX and Long Beach Airport. The beaches are also close by and many shopping centers and good restaurants too.
The room rates are reasonable. The cleaning staff is very thorough and trustworthy, and I've always enjoyed my stay with them. You will too if you ever find yourself in Harbor City, California, and are in need of a good place to stay!

I am very exciting to inform others about my stay at Rodeway Inn. I stayed for 8 nights and was grateful for the hospitality the staff provided. The rooms are very clean as the staff do daily room service and provided clean towels in abundance. I could watch my favorite sports game live on cable and their internet connection was very strong. I found Rodeway Inn to be the most convenient place to stay and would recommend to anyone who need a place to stay. I also want to say special thanks to the manager for being courteous and friendly.

It was a really great experience here! Loved the days I was there, and I stayed for two nights. Service was great when needed, didn't have any problems whats so ever with anything. Over all a great place to stay and great pricing on rooms, this is a place I'll recommend to anyone who wants to be close to Long Beach or just be in that area!

We always stay at a Rodeway, no matter where in California we are, because you really can't beat the price. The room is always clean and comfortable and the service is always friendly! You never know what you're going to get when your hotel budget is under $100/night but with the Rodeway, it's easy to feel confident that you'll sleep well and feel happy with your choice :)

This was the second time I've visited this hotel. The room was clean and the area felt safe. You really can't beat it for the price. If you're looking for a clean hotel on a budget in the area i would highly recommend this one.

We stayed the for 1 night and it was pretty good for the price. Clean room and nice bathroom. Housekeepers were so sweet. Front desk was very nice and were accommodating.

They have beautiful rooms. I got the room with a hot tub inside. It was clean and spacious. They have decent Wi-Fi and cable service with demand from Spectrum. Customer service was great and prompt.

I give this place 5 🌟 only because of the hospitality the manager has very nice man run a tight ship . When it's check out time it's time to go, it can be a little loud talking at strange hours. But other than that I would go back oh two more things the hot water let alone warm water catch it if u can. And the A/C man just don't move a lot and you'll be alright lol.

Considering the price and location - has to be 5 stars.

Clean, new bathroom, comfortable bed, wifi fast enough to stream netflix.

Door was thick enough that the road noise was not noticeable once asleep.

Good location for South Bay = Torrance, Redondo B, Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills. Fridge & micro - both work. Spectrum TV w/ many channels. Largest shower I've ever seen in a "budget" motel - excellent water pressure & hot water. 2 separate sinks. Room & linens clean. Coffee in office from 7 AM; no breakfast. McD's, other fast food, Starbucks drive-in/sit outside - easy walk. PCH is a busy street, but I heard very little traffic noise in my room at night. W/ senior discount + incl. 14% hotel tax, I paid $86 for a Thurs.; 105 each for Fri. & Sat. As we know, everybody charges more for Fri/Sat nights - Motel 6 (w/ senior disc.) in the L.A. area will run you $92 into the low 3 digits. The amenities are MUCH better here. WiFi - not real strong - rodeway12 I found better than plain rodeway. Lots of wall plugs in room for charging devices. I recommend this place for the "budget" traveler.

This is my one and only five star hotel quiet clean I love the rooms the beds are comfortable TV everything in there it's just great they're not the cheapest but it's worth it

Clean and quite room with two double beds was a little small . Carpet needed cleaning and the staff could be friendlier.

Very clean & great location- close to LA & San Pedro & all the other surrounding towns. Very nice affordable restaurants & shopping in area as well. Staff is very personable as well. Price was really nice as well!!!

I had a change im my travel plan and had to cancel the hotel at the last momemt. The mamager was very accomodative and agreed to cancel even though it was outside of cancellation window.

Felt like my room was clean and they have Jacuzzi suits also local to a lot of food and a few bars would come back again

I stayed 4 nights and would not hesitate to stay again. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the service was first rate.

Nice rooms, clean and neat. Good for a no frills stay overnight. Also for work trip where you will only be sleeping there.
