Harbor Pines Veterinary Center

I have a senior dog who is declining but still in great spirits. He is now deaf and going blind and is not controlling his bladder as well (having some accidents) but he still runs around the house wagging his tail with a few bumps here and there, plays tug of war a little bit with his chicken, loves to snuggle and looks forward to dinner. It was my first visit with Dr. White who was wonderful with Harley, helped assuage my anxieties and the front office staff and vet techs were lovely too!

The staff, Dr. G, and Dr. W are always great. We saw Dr. G the last few times and he is always so attentive, informative, and patient. We moved to Hermosa beach and make the drive over since we trust everyone there.

We always receive great care here! All of the staff are friendly and professional. We’ve had experiences with small things like ear infections, uti and even kidney stone removal surgery and get positive outcomes. They also have appointments available in a reasonable timeline! Definitely recommend!

What a breath of fresh air meeting Dr. White and his staff! The whole atmosphere of his office is one of calm and you can feel his true love of animals. My dog Bunnie is 13 and never before has any other vet took the time Dr. White took to make her feel calm and happy. This really meant the world to me as she’s usually so frightened that she shakes uncontrollably, but she remained calm and happy throughout her visit with Dr. White. I’m so happy to have found such a wonderful vet who really loves and cares for his patients! He is also so straightforward, which I really appreciate, and he puts your pet’s needs and care as priority #1! And all of his staff are top notch too, all so friendly, kind, and helpful! Thank you so much for being true heroes and champions for animals. Dr. White and his staff have hearts of gold and they treat their patients like family.

Super Happy with my visit to Harbor Pines, everyone was very welcoming and we felt very at ease. The care my dog received was top notch. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly what was wrong with my pug. So happy we came here.

Dr. White is the best. He's great with my pitbull and I'll never go anywhere else.

It just doesn't get any better. These folks are professionals. Scooter got his nails cut in less than 10 min. Every visit is the same..I trust these folks 100%.

Good place to take your pet. The doctors and staff are very caring and attentive. They will answer any question you have. The office is generally very clean and the wait time isn't too bad. I am happy to have found a trusting vet for my little old man. The app is really helpful and they are partnered with an online vet store.

Everyone here is so kind. The people at the front desk, the techs, and Dr. White does his best to take care of our cat and make him comfortable in his old age. They do tend to fall behind on appointments, about a half hour, and they can be a bit pricey for some things, but the services they provide is worth it, in my opinion.

Incredible how kind and helpful this place is compared to the big chains that have been buying up all the vet businesses lately. They did something no other vet has done for me- Submitted all the bills to my insurance and advocated on my behalf to get the deductions applied before I even had to pay. (Usually you have to pay the vet in full on the spot, and then make a claim to the insurance, hoping they will eventually give you something, with a lot of follow-up and phone calls needed) The doctor even came to my house on two occasions. His help saved me so much headache, the slight increase in cost was more than worth it. This was the first vet that my 15 year old dog actually liked. I hope vets like this stay around into the future, but so far this might be the only independent place left in the area.

I had to bring my dog in this morning she passed away and the staff and doctor were so kind and very caring. I can’t thank them enough!!

I love this place and Dr. White and the staff are carrying and loving. I have a pitbull name Champagne. We have been Harbor Pines for 5 years. Champagne had a hematoma when 3 years ago and I was wouldn't go anywhere else to get this procedure done. We love you 😘😘😘😘😘. We will see y'all soon..

best vet to go to if u live in Harbor city. highly recommend!
