I decided to get my cat neutered here because every other veterinary costed so much. I got quoted 400-600 for his neuter! He is a healthy cat and has no problems. To set up appointments, you would do it on their website. I did wait about a month and a half for his appointment but I was okay with due to the high amount of people they see a day and need to get their cats neutered as well. Don’t be mad if their next appointment for a neuter is 1-2 months away! Be grateful they offer to do it professionally and a low price for many people. They offer a low income rate (less than $40,000 a year) and a regular rate for neuters(which isn’t a lot more). I had a low income rate and I paid a total of $126 for his neuter which included a microchip and a dose of revolution. Without the microchip and revolution, it would have been around $70-80 which is really good. They do require a $30 deposit at the appointment check out, and does go into your total for your final payment. You are more than welcome to do blood work and it cost around $100-120 extra but the helpful man on the phone let me know it was more for older age of cats or cats that have more medical issues. I decided not to get it. I had many questions that I need to be answered and the call center for CAMP was always open to answering them. Everyone is really nice and informative. Drop off was simple too and they let you have someone else pick them up your cat if needed, just let them know. My cat is on his 10 day post-surgery and he is doing very well. If you want more information, you can ask me a question and I can help you with what I know. If not, you can call them and select a number on their recorded phone call and choose many options they have from that are very informative. Thank you so much CAMP Clinic San Pedro.

I went to the San Pedro Animal Care Shelter to view a small dog for my friend.
When I walked into the office, I
have noticed that some dogs were staying in the office lobby.
They were big dogs staying in the crates.
I asked the staff why those
dogs were staying in the office.
Then, I found out the shelter were overcrowded with so many dogs, and they didn't have enough space to put all
the dogs.
After the Covid Pandemic, people were returning to work & due to the bad economic and high cost of living, people couldn't afford to keep their dogs anymore.
Therefore, many people were surrendering their dog's to the shelter.
When I heard that story, I felt so sad about those dogs.
I couldn't understand how people could dump their dog's to the shelter.
also, there were so many dogs
staying in the shelter for a long time. And they were waiting to get adopted it.
It was so sad about the shelter
dogs.
Then, I went to the kennel
to see the small dog, but the dog was on foster care, so I couldn't see the dog.
After that, I looked around to
see other dogs, and I saw a cute husky was jumping and
greeted me with a big smile.
That husky looked alike he wanted to get out from the kennel. He was so friendly and
sweet dog.
I wanted to adopt the husky, but I already owned a small dog, and I could have only one dog in my apartment.
If you want to adopt the dog, I
would recommend the CAMP Clinic San Pedro Animal Shelter.

The staff were very professional and very kind. Arrived at 6:30am to drop off a stray for spaying and picked her up at 3:30pm. She was well taken care of and recovered nicely in my bathroom.

I took my newly adopted Min Pin puppy here to be neutered. They were very caring from the first contact. I selected SNPLA in San Pedro from of list given to me by the LA Animal Shelter for prepaying the service with the adoption fee. When I first tried calling to make my appointment I was met with an answering service, so I did not leave a message. In less than an hour, I received a call from them offering to be of service. It was easy to get an appointment and and they were very accommodating when I had to rescheduled. They follow up and emailed all the information I needed. Surgery went well and my pup, Luigi is as perfect as ever…

They really surpassed my expectation, especially considering they offer low cost services. The clinic was clean. The staff, in person and on the phone, in my many interaction with them, was always professional, kind, patient and knowledge. Suggestion: parking can be a bit tight around pick up time, which is usually before 4pm and they share the same parking lot as the San Pedro shelter, its best to get there a bit earlier if possible.

I had a lot of trouble getting an appointment at any low cost spay/neuter location at all. It was months before I even saw an appointment available and even then I had to book this appointment months in advance. This is not CAMPs fault. This issue was with everyone offering this service. The cost was reasonable and I was able to get a $50 coupon from LA Animal Services (I did not qualify for the free voucher because I am employed). Drop off was 7:00-7:30AM for dogs and I was a little early but they let me drop off anyways. I was called/text that pick up would be at 1PM. They gave me 3 oral syringes of pain medicine (meloxicam) and a head cone at no extra cost. My dog was a little groggy that day but by the evening she was doing a little better and ate some food and was almost back to normal the next day. The facilty is clean and modern and the staff were kind and professional. They explained the whole process and were patient and knowledgable when I had additional questions. The appointment experience itself was positive and I would recommend them to anyone. I hope that more places open up to offer more low cost spay/neuter appointments to the public.

Absolutely amazing! I took both of my kittens there to get fixed and it was $100 all together! Everywhere else was trying to charge me $200 for each. They took amazing care of my boys and they're both now happy and healthy ❤

I needed my cat to get fixed and I'm glad I found this place. The staff are nice and they let you know the process in dropping off and picking up your pet. Just be sure to be here at 6:30am because the line starts to build up really quick. After 24 hours, so far my cat is healing fast and back to play time again.

We received a call early to come in and get our dog to get neutered, the process was about 4 hours. I'm happy with the service provided, the staff was friendly and I'm glad my dog was I good hands. You also have an option to donate along with the surgery payment, I encourage everyone to pitch in , every dollar counts towards the animals in the shelter 🐾 ❤ please consider adoption!

So far so good....took my puppy to get neutered, microchipped and some blood work. Drop-off in AM, ready by 1pm, felt like a well run operation.

After going to the CAMP- Los Angeles where the wait time is 2 hours and a half. I decided to take my new puppy for his first shots here. I walked right in and I only waited 20-30 minutes. The staff was friendly and helped me with some of the questions I had. Definitely recommending this location if you dont like waiting a long time.

I like this place, took my dog here to get her vaccines, wish I would have known they're open on the weekend, I would've taken my dog here instead of an animal hospital when she got THC intoxication.
