Lomita Park

Nice quiet park, very family oriented.

Great place for the kidos, there are playgrounds and a baseball field, along with a huge space for practice soccer or other sports. Plenty of parking spaces and different entrances for the park. Enjoy your visit!

Great park to bring the kids! Clean and good environment! Best part no sand in the kiddos shoes when we get home (there's no sand here!)

It has a small playground for kids,and a basketball court, you can celebrate birthdays and even 15 añeras.

Great playground with 2x jungle gyms, swings and plenty of open space to play. A few sports fields including soccer and baseball for older kids sports teams. A couple of gazebos for BBQ and a bathroom. Everything you could ask for in a park, and even some shade for the hot days!

Nice tennis courts to practice on when school when Marymount is closed for vacation. You can see Marymount on the hill from Lomita Park and most of Lomita.

Small park but nice to celebrate birthday party.

Love this cute park. Perfect for toddlers as they learn to navigate the equipment. Safe, good shaded gazebos for picnic lunches. Nice place to socialize with other families. Great big field for running around and exercise stations to get in a work out while your kids play nearby or workout with you.

I love taking my daughters to this park.I have seen a difference in this park for a few months now , it’s much cleaner and something that I haven’t personally seen in different parks that I go to , it’s that the maintenance Guy was cleaning the water fountains , for someone that has some children I really appreciate that. Jorge the maintenance guy that was there that morning was really nice and I really appreciate him cleaning the park and I feel much better taking out my girls.

Great Park, great playground! the only thing that's missing is swings for big kids they do have a set of two swings for infants and toddlers and two separate great playgrounds for different ages. It is often very packed but we love this park!

This is a bigger park with a lot to offer. Staff is friendly and they have a lot of activities you can sign up for. They have a playground for younger kids and one for older kids, a few exercise apparatuses, a baseball field, a mini soccer/football field, outdoor basketball court, outdoor tennis courts, picnic benches, gazebo areas, indoor gymnasium, and another room for classes. There's no sand in the playground area, it's rubber padding now. There is also a parking lot....one way in and one way out. There are a few handicapped spaces too.

Of all the parks in Torrance my kids and I both really love this one even though it's in Lomita technically. There are always lots of kids playing every time we come and many of them from their schools. There is no sand so they don't get sand all over themselves and the best part is there is a bike track that runs all around the park and is great for teaching your child how to ride a 2-wheeler bicycle! I highly recommend this park! We have never had anything but fun here and it's nice and has updated playground equipment and the bathrooms aren't bad either. The best part though and I must reiterate as the bicycle track that goes around the outskirts of the park which is fun to ride bikes for kids as well as for learning!

Recently my daughter has started playing tennis and her and I frequent this location to use their facilities. The courts are well-maintained for public park courts, and it is usually not too difficult to find a place to play. We will continue to frequent this location and I am looking at signing my daughter up for lessons.

I went to this park last Wednesday when I started the puppy manners class for Emma Mae, my dog, with Ethel Mercer. It's a great course and Ethel and all of her staff are superbly trained and dog loving people. The park facilities are very clean and include a bathroom, basketball court, tennis court, soccer field and play area for kids. I highly recommend visiting this park.

On Saturday Oct 19th evening with our daughter we were in the park. Some of her friends also had good time till sunset. We left around 6.30 pm. After reach home in Hawthorne we realized her scooter was left in the park. We went back but could not find it.

On Sunday ( today) we called the office, The young lady who answered was very nice. She went out to look for it and then She kept our contact info. By chance any one returns, She will give us a call. Great customer service.

overall park is nice and kept clean and well maintained. Even after sunset it is bright and feel safe.

I've been to this park for baby showers, birthday's as well as memorials. The bathrooms are maintained,the park is clean.Basketball, tennis courts and a baseball field. Barbeques and gazebo's you can reserve with a refundable deposit and of course a play area for the kids.Theres also work out stations.

Love this park..! Great for birthday parties. Small but has kids play ground..bathroom...room for the kiddos to ru around and enjoy themselves but parents can still keep an eye on them

Clean park with friendly staff. There are several homeless people at this park but they keep to themselves and keep the area around them clean and tidy.

Parks and Recreation Dept has a friendly staff. Park is clean. Great place for a family event. Just reserve your Picnic area, if you plan to have an event, with enough time.
