Miches De La Baja

Expect a beach shack experience. Do not come here looking for a romantic setting or personal service. When you come in, you will get in a line and place an order. Drinks are ordered here as well. You can sit wherever you want and wait for your number to be called. You pick up your food and drinks from the counter. I think they have a great selection of seafood. I am super biased when it comes to Baja style shrimp tacos because I make my own and home, but this placed nailed it. They are not stingy with the protein and they are heavy with the toppings. The chipotle cream sauce is good but very spicy. Ceviche was awesome and again, plenty of protein on your tostada and a nice hefty serving of avocado. The miches were good! We had the chamoy mango and the tamarindo. You can order taco boxes and they also cater. Great selection of hot sauces.

We were just driving by and seen this place. What the hell let’s try it. We were highly impressed. The food was great, customer service was awesome. We will definitely be bacc and bring friends!

The Baja fish tacos were delicious. We tried shrimp tacos and Baja style fish tacos. Everyone like the fish tacos the best. We also tried the red tacos. They were good too. There’s a parking lot with plenty of parking. This inside is huge and has a full bar in the back. There were tables and string lights outside.

I came here with my friends a few weeks ago and had a great meal, so great we came back a few nights later. The food was delicious from the fish tacos to the birria tacos it was great. When I’m next in town Il be back.

It is delicious. I had the OG fish tacos and a small shrimp and octopus cocktail. I had more than enough food and it all tasted great. The hot sauce was a bit hot but still really good

Good food that's not overly expensive. The portions are fairly big. They serve their shrimp and fish either grilled or battered. Before eating at Miches, I'd never had fish burrito or even seen it on a menu for that matter. Now I wonder why other restaurants don't offer something similar. The salsa for their chips is excellent, but they need to provide more in my opinion.

Honestly the five stars are for the Wednesday $20 box special. 12 fried fish tacos, battered fries, some pickled onions and cucumbers. The fish has always been freshly fried and piping hot. Service is good. Good permanent outdoor seating. There's currently michelada mix on the soda fountain.

It's a pandemic. Sometimes there's big yellow peppers on top, sometimes there's extra salsa on the side, sometimes the fries aren't battered, sometimes the fountain machine isn't on. It happens, it's still a good experience overall. More pleasant seating at this location than Carson.

We've tried other stuff: the michelada botanera was a little too heavy on the salts and I like things spicy and salty, good amount of seafood though. Potato tacos were good, as were the shrimp. For the value though, we keep coming back for the fried fish on Wednesday. $1.69 for a single. Not sure how they do it. I'm waiting for the price to go up and have no idea how to check.

This place is amazing the customer service is wonderful this was my first time here and the young man at the cashier was very polite.The food was so good everything was good the salsas was delicious the fish tacos omg just know I will be back soon

Been here before to try their Taco Tuesday which is no longer an option and didn't really care for them because their tortillas for the tacos were rubbery in texture.

This visit I tried their potato tacos and to my surprise were very delicious. I would most definitely get those again. Even though I'm not a vegetarian, these were an 11 on a scale of 1-10.

Place is clean, organized, friendly service, spacious dining area and have a lot to choose from on their Baja Style menu.
They even have excellent margaritas, and other alcoholic beverages as well as non alcoholic beverages.

I gave them a second chance and would still like to try their other items on the menu. I'll be back‼

The tacos are really good, and taste so fresh. The service is super fast, too. This has a totally different feel from Arturo’s which was at this location for more than 50 years.

Really good fish tacos and spicy shrimp ceviche. A variety of hot sauces. Seems like a good place to come watch sports in. The service is always good. Highly recommend.

Best fish tacos,ever. Atmosphere was very clean,staff friendly. Nothing like this California location. Micheladas,need a little more pizazz,but ok

Really nice place to eat a ceviche tostada and a good michelada. A lot of space inside and outside. My family enjoyed the fish Chicharrones y tostadas!

Fish tacos and micheladas.. a great combo done correctly with quality ingredients and tons of love. If you're looking for the best homemade salsa and fish taco shop in Harbor City, this is the place! Make sure to get here a little earlier as the parking lot can get filled up on weekends. It's a fairly big lot, and is usually filled by others who found out about this gem in the South Bay. Fantastico!

Wanted to wait until I'd gone twice to review and I gotta say both times the food was delicious. We were big fans of Los Paisas, the restaurant that was here before. And I think it's the same group just a new theme/style.

Food wise, the tacos, civeche, and definitely the nachos are stellar. We haven't ate in yet, because 2020, but everything we've ordered to go is stellar.

Tacos come on flour tortillas, but they have great corn tortillas available as well.

Staff is friendly and quick. I'd say it's a touch on the pricey side, but I'm probably just getting old and back in my day a soda pop was 50 cents. So it's not unreasonable.

Currently they've got out door dining as well. Which is a treat and a great place to enjoy such good food with our good so cal weather.

Keep it up Miches. We will be back!

Also the bar at this location will be back they say, as soon as it's safe to re open. That was a favorite spot of the old restaurant and I'm looking forward to the new vibe.

I drove from the valley to this restaurant and boy I was not disappointed at all. The shrimp ceviche tostada very fresh. The Mahi Mahi tacos were out of this world very flavorful. The campechana had very great flavor and the fried tilapia was to perfection. Will definitely continue come back and try their other dishes. We're just getting started on other visits I'll make to this restaurant.

Perhaps it was what I ordered, Baja Burrito with fish and shrimp, or what my sister ordered, which was a ceviche tostada that satisfied my hunger on this particular visit, but it was delicious. The staff was quick with the order and friendly and I liked the way they didn't blast music all loud that you can't have a conversation or just "Miches before Beaches" was a fun thing to say over and over to annoy my sister throughout our meal... great place to eat on a hot summer day, some items are pricey, seafood usually is... but I will be stopping by again.

I enjoyed the shrimp taco plate, while my son had a HUGE seafood cocktail which actually had fresh abalone.
A little pricy, but worth it.

Authentic fresh tasting Mexican food. We were impressed.
